Screen stuck on zoom......can anyone help?
My 2 month old iphone has locked itself in zoom mode.
I have no idea how this has happened and no idea how to fix it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have tried restoring factory settings and turning my phone off, but still no luck.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

If your iMac is not starting up normally you may need to do some checking to make sure things are working correctly. I would suggest starting with the steps in this article -

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I went to update my software for my iPad 2 and my ipad has been frozen for hours on the connect to itunes screen. I unplugged it and tried to recover it but it doesn't work. When I connect it back to my computer it says ITunes has detected an ipad in recovery mode. You must restore this ipad before it can be used with itunes.

I have an ipad 2 and some area's of the screen has stop working, can anyone help?
hi my ipad 2 screen has stopped fuctioning in parts of the screen when my ipad is tilted on its side and the keyboard is up some letters wont respond as quick as the others, its continuously the same letters, can anybody help solve this problem, i dont know if its a hardware problem or a software issue :/
Do the letters not work whichever app you are in e.g. Mail, Notes, Safari ?
Have you tried a reset to see if the entire screen works when the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try restoring to your last backup, and next after that would be resetting back to factory defaults. If it still doesn't work then it is possibly a hardware issue, in which case you should contact Apple. -
ccan't use air pad 2. It will not do anything but ask setup prompts after trying to update to 8.3. Stuck in some kind of a loop. A hard reset does not work

You can force your device to restart even if your screen is black or your buttons aren't responding.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

What worked for me was, as marcopolo says in that thread, is to go to your preference directory (location shown below) and just delete "com.apple.bezelServices.plist" and in my case "com.apple.BezelServices.plist.lockfile"

But... if the Device has been Modified / Hacked / Jailbroken... this will Not necessarily work. -

This happens when the operating system on the phone becomes corrupted. This could be because of a failed update to the OS or even a hardware failure due to being dropped or submerged in water. If you follow the instructions indicated, hopefully iTunes will be able to restore the OS and afterward you can restore the settings from a backup (assuming you have one).
If this does not solve the problem you will need to take the phone to an authorized repair center. -
