Screen Variant for ENjoy Transaction

Hi all,
I want to create screen variant for enjoy transaction, i.e fb60. Through the guide in another threads, I click on the square icon, above the scroll bar on the table control (used for entering document line items). When I create new variant, hide some columns and save this screen variant, everything is not changed. How to apply this screen variant to this transaction ?
I also use function "Add screen variant" when right click on this screen, but nothing changes.

That little button you mention (above the scroll bars) will not create screen variants for this transaction.
You have to use transaction SHD0 (also accessible by pressing Ctrl+F4 once you are inside FB60).
Search inside http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCDWBCEX/BCDWBCEX.pdf for the keywords SHD0 more info on usage, etc. if you need help with SHD0.

Cannot select the newly created Screen variant in ENJOY transactions.

Hello All,
I have created a screen variant for a specific requirement from the client in transaction SHD0.
However I am unable to select this new screen variant in all ENJOY transactions.
When I try to select the screen variant in FB50-Post GL through>EDIT>Screen Variant, Select,Reset and Create Screen variants are greyyed out.
I have checked the setting in SU3, as well as FB00 for the Parameters, it appears to be correct.
Kindly help at the earliest!!

Try this I hope this may help you.
Go to FB50 at above left hand side will see Tree On option button. Click on that you will see Screen vairants for items option with drop down object. Simply click on that now select your desired screen variant by double clicking applied.

How to create transaction or screen variant for custom tcode in module pool

Hi,
I have one module pool program with custome tcode ,i want to create transaction or screen variant for this tcode.Next time when we run this tcode we need a variant for this tcode.
I tried by using of SHD0 but it is working only for standred tcodes.Is there any possibilty please help me.

Hi,
you created a Custom Tcode for ur module pool Pgm..if u execute the Tcode in the output screen give the input details and press Save Option then variant will be created. Then you can use that variant.
otherwise.. while creating a Tcode..
select an option for Tcode type Tranasction With variant ..there u will provide the variant for ur Tcode ( which is already created ).

Issue in Creating a screen variant for FV50 through SHD0

Hi,
I need to create a Screen variant for FV50 to hide the post button through the Transaction SHD0, It was working fine and the function keys BU and BS i disabled in the variant, but the problem is when i disabled the Function keys from FV50 it is not allowing me to post the transaction in FBV0 also. I found that T code FV50 is using the program :SAPMF05A and FBV0 is using : SAPMF05V.
Is there any way to overcome the issue through the transaction SHD0 ?

To Create aVariant You can use Tcode : SHD0.
Provide the tocde and clik on Screen variant and create...

Selection Variant for Standard transaction

Hi,
The requirement is that, On starting a standard transaction the initial selection screen should appear with a default selection variant selected in it.

Are you sure about that ? I think the the SHD0 transaction creates screen variants only for "normal" screens, dialog boxes, and subscreens . Not for List display (and selection screens) ..

Actually i want to make the field Business place/Section as mandatory.
I tried creating screen variants .But The checkbox for making the field required is greyed out.

Screen variant for Sourcing Cockpit.

Hi all,
    I copied the standard screen variant for Sourcing cockpit and made Product number visible in the Z version. When I run BBPSOCO01 transaction in GUI, I can see the Product number. But, in web browser I don't see it. I have implemented screen variant BADI to call Z version instead of standard screen variant. Do I have to do anything in ITS? Any help will be much appreciated.

hi all,
i am trying to create a screen variant for tcode va11. the fileds in the item level has to changed.. we have a requirement to show only those fields that are usefull as per our clients requirement.. there are fields which will never be used .. so we have top remove it .. i have created a screen variant and made all the fiedls not needed invisible .
then i link this csreen variant to a transaction varaiant .. howver when i execute
this i don't find any difference in screen .. guess my screen variant not working..
Is there anything we have to take care for table control.
the Program name is SAPMV45A
Screen number is 4900
please if any body has done this before ,,kindly suggest.

this variant is in Active state ?
what is system status ?
check which PF/GUI it is using .
system-->status>Program here u have to get ur Zvariant name.

You could use transaction SDH0 to create and activate a new screen variant for transaction KS01(Create Cost Center). Be aware that this change would impact any person using that transaction for any company code and controlling area, so I suggest unless it is extremely necessary you use it with caution and assess its impact throughout both the system and organization.

Selection screen variant for report

Can we restrict the selection screen variants for reports by user? For example my report is ZREPORT. Different users can save variants for the report. When they choose a variant for executing the report, they would like to see only the variants they created.
By default SAP lists all variants created (irrespective of who created).

If you want the other users doesn't want to execute (Not see) other variant..you can check if that user has created the variant in the AT SELECTION-SCREEN event..
By checking VARI-VARIANT against the table VARID and check if sy-uname <> VARID-ENAME.

here you can add any transaction or reference documents.You can make whether the transaction event active or inactive means example In MIGO there are several options GR,GI,Transfer posting etc.If you remove active check box againest MIGO, you can't perform GR with migo.(GR transaction will disappear from drop down).
Similarly Within GR , you can allow GR with respect to Purchase orders,Inbound delivery etc.You can't add your own transaction/event and reference document for transaction/event.

To assign Screen Variant for VL02N to respective user.

Hi Experts,
I have created one Screen Variant for TCode VL02N. It is very well working if executing with SHD0.
Now, I want that, if any particular user say XYZ executes VL02N, then VL02N should be executed with the variant I created, for that user.
Plz. tell me what to do for this....any authorization object needs to create or is there any other way out.

Am not sure whether you can create user-group from SHD0.

For FB60
A) For the Header Data.
1. Go to FB60.
2. Click on Edit in the Top Header Bar.
3. Click on Screen Variant & then Click on Create Screen Variant.
4. Create your own variant.
B) For the Line items
1. In the Line item box on the Top Right corner there is a configuration button , click on this button. The Table setting window will open.
2. Go to Maintain Variant box.
3. Enter the Variant Name here.
4. Click on Create.
Similarly you can do for FB50 & FB70.

Hi
You can find Exits and BADI from SPRO. Just identify the area where you want to enhance and go to that area by SPRO , then you can see system enhancement that are available. This is the good way to find enhancement because you can find the documentation related to enhancement.
Like SPRO > Material Management > Purchasing > Develop enhancement for purchasing (Exits)
or see Business add ins for purchasing. Read the documentation.
Else you can search exits and badi by the package name like find the package of a transaction where you want to put enhancement. SE93 > Transaction name > Display > Package.
then go to SE80 and open the package then see function group start with X. this are exits that are available. you can find enhancement also.
Else to find BADI related to a transaction just put break point to class method cl_exithandler->get_instance in SE24.
and run the transaction , then you can find the BADI as exit name in this function call.
These are the way you can find enhancement , but the way which is describe 1st is the best way.
