Screens: Change Element type

Hello experts,
I need to change a number of types of screen elements on an existing screen for example a checkbox to an input/output field and checkbox to a dropdown list box. Please advise if SAP allows this as the screen element types are greyed out .....maybe the only way is to delete the sub-screen and create it again using the correct screen element types.

Change element type of an array of containers (from LabVIEW)

Hi,
I have an empty Array of Container type and need to insert an element of a custom data type definition. If I already have an element of the type definition, it is simple to copy that element and insert it as a new element. But inserting a new element to a empty array I need to specify that the element should be of this data type.
Getting the type definition with the Method "GetTypeDefinition" and inserting this as a new value simply "moves" my type definition to the inserted element (which is not suppose to happen). Can't find a method to change data type and seems that none of the property options does the trick to.
I just need to do the same as "change type" in the TestStand editor, just inside LabVIEW.
What did I miss??

Hi,
When i am writing my stuff i was not able to open your SequenceFile. Now i was.
My upper example is only working for arrays of Types. It is also working on empty Arrays, too.
Please tell me why you do not use an array of types ?

Change cost element type 4 to 1

Hello,
I want to change a cost element type "4" to "1". But SAP does not allow it because the plan data on the cost element.
How can I change the type? Please any help.

HI,
I'm afraid if dependent data (actual and/or planning data) exist for cost element for the fiscal year, then there is no way to change the category type until the next fiscal year. This is to prevent inconsistency in the data for a given fiscal year. When posting the first transaction data (plan or actual posting), a year dependent entry is created in a control table for the cost element. You can only change the category if NO transaction data exist for the relevant year or if all the transaction data for this cost element/year
is deleted.
An option is to create a new analysis period (KA02 -> Basic Screen -> Edit -> Analysis Period) and specify the new cost element category. The new analysis period can only be specified in yearly intervals.

Just purchased a Mac today. Large screen but small type size on the desktop. How can I change the font size that appears on the desktop? The only place that I can find font size is in word and this is not what I need. Thanks for your help!

Cost Element Type change with balance in it

Hi All,
I have a P &L account created in FS00 maintained as cost element of type 1 , and now we want to change it as type 12 sales and Deductions Cost element, so when I try to change in FS00 it didn't allow me to do so as it is having some balance, so
What can I do now ?
How can I change that cost element type from 1 to 12 ?
How can I clear the balance that is that account now ?
and where can I see what balance is in that Cost element?

But When I try to change the CE category in FS00 it is saying the transactional data exists Message KS134 ,
where can I see the actual dollar amount sitting in that Cost Element?
and
If I don't know how much in that CE how can I transfer the amount from this CE to another CE?

Why does the screen change when I type certain letters?

Something is wrong. When I am typing along, all of a sudden the screen changes and I am no longer on mail but back to the home page. I have checked the batteries in my wireless keyboard and track pad. They are ok. imac semms very hot. I have shut it down and restarted. Any ideas?

I keep getting a message after start up saying "Completer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this (which I have not done). Have screen shots. What do I do? Read this is malware. Running Yosemite OS X 10.10.1

Have mac book pro, OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I get this after start up: "Completer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this" (which I have not entered. When I cancel, there is some unknown "installer" icon on my desktop. If I move it to the trash, this all just starts over on the next time it is restarted. Have screenshots, but for some reason I can not attach to this message right now. Heard this is malware...HELP!

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.

I accidentally "hid" the section on the bottom of the screen when using text which allows me to change font size, type, etc.

Okay, I think that rather than play twenty questions, it would be easiest if you could post a screenshot. Press command+shift+ 3 to take a shot of the whole desktop, or command+shift+4 and then drag over the part of it you want. Get the Schedule Line Category used in Sales order. Go to VA03, here double click on the sales order line item and go to "Schedule Lines" tab, here get the Schedule Line category.
And then go to VOV6 and double click the Schedule Line category and in detailed screen, change the movement type.
Then try for Delivery and PGI.

i like to change elements in arrayList into string.
This is how i declare an ArrayList in a Java file
ArrayList listing = new ArrayList();below is just a simple example of how i insert the string into the arraylist

Cost Center Assessment - cost element type 42

Hi dear All,
I got issues running KSU5 to allocate planned costs under cost element type 42. we were expecting that all planned costs (primary and secondary(cost element type 42)) could be allocated by credit cost center (actual). only primary costs are being allocated.
Scenario:
cost center planning (kp06) 1000 currencies in primary cost element in cost center A
running planning assessment - KSUB: cycle uses assessment cost element (type 42): sender cost center A, receiver cost center B (all planned values). assessment cyles posts 1000 currencies from CC A to cost center B
planning in cost center B (primary cost elements through kp06, 500 currencies) total planning 1000 from previous assessment with CE type 42, and 500 from cc planning in a primari CE.
by the period end closing, tcode KSU5 (allocation actual) is running. new cycle created, based on planned values (origini not actual, but planned amounts).
we were expecting to allocate 1500 currencies from cost center B to cost center C (using 100% and through assessment cost element)).
result: credit actual cost center B = 500 currencies debit actual cost center C = 500 currencies.
1000 currencies pending on cost center B (planned).
do you know why SAP is not allocating the 1000? even if those 1000 were planned in cost center B by assessement, a new allocation cycle should be able to post them or not?

first, I understand the difference between KSUB and KSU5, in the defined scenario, we have both. planned values, become actual with the MEC activities. business definition.
regarding the cycle, I have setup assessment cost element so we can get all planned lines posted as 1.
On sender tab I have only the cost center. no cost element defined.
receiver its cost center.
furthermore, i've not setup allocation structure, so all cost elements should be allow, there is no restriction on this.
the only difference is: planned costs which their origin is already an assessment are not being assessed again.
I can show you the print screens with cycles setup if it helps

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. You can demote it back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

Absence error "required screen changes can not be made"

I am having issue with absence IT2001,
When I create absence on today's date it is fine ,if I select previous /future date then I am getting error msg " required screen changes can not be made"
I did check the quota and basic check and everything is fine.

Check the table V_554S_O for the particular Absece type which u might wrong screen Number
Change that field to 2001..
Or it may have happened that some mandatory field has been changed / hidden by screen modification in T588M and T588N tables for IT2001.
