Screens missing elements when navigated to directly via URL

Hi all,
I am having some problems in the portal. I am going to describe one of them in detail as they are likely all caused by the same issue. I hope someone can help!
If I navigate to the Address screen through the portal (meaning I start at the Welcome page, click Employee Self-Service, click Personal Information, and then Click on Address), the Address screen comes up as I expect it to. There are three buttons at the bottom, "Previous Step", "New Emergency Address", and "Exit".
If I navigate to the Address screen by entering the URL directly, The "Exit" button does not appear.
I have tried making the URL in two formats:
1) Short URL: http://<server>:<port>irj/portal?NavigationTarget=navurl://<navurl>
2) Full URL: https://<server>:<port>/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_personal_information/persinfo_us/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.addr
In each of these formats I tried using the short URL (1) or the PCD (2) for the iView, Page and Portal Role for the Address screen. So that's 6 URLs I tried:
1) Short URL - pointing to iView
2) Short URL - pointing to Page
3) Short URL - pointing to Role
4) Full URL - pointing to iView
5) Full URL - pointing to Page
6) Full URL - pointing to Role
In all these cases, the exit button does not show up. It only shows up when I navigate to it from the links on the portal screen. Any Ideas?

What you could do to overcome this all it so set a quicklink on the iview you try to call and then use this quicklink to directly access the iview.

Missing elements when exporting in After Effects CC

Hi there,
I really hope someon is able to help me with this problem.
I have this animation in After Effects. It contains PSD files of lines. I animated the lines using the Stroke-tool form AE.
When pre-rendering the animation does what it's supposed to do. It works fine.
However, whenever I try to export it through Render Queue, it seems to forget just two PSD elements in my project. I can already see the animation will not export as it's supposed to do while rendering in the render Qeueu.
I've tried several things:
- Change my PSD files from CMYK to RGB and replace footage in After effects
- Copy my original PSD files and replace footage in AE
- exporting in different kinds of files (MOV/AVI) H264
Can anyone help me? I've searched on Google but couldn't find anyone with the same problem.
Further info:
- I'm using Adobe CC (legal of course )
- Windows 8
- I've updated my computer with every update available

What is the full version number of AE that you're using? 12.2.1.5? 13.2.0.49?
Can we see a screenshot of your timeline panel with the missing layers? Are they set to guide layers?

Missing elements when exporting from Illustrator to .dwg

Hi,
I am exporting our Illustrator files into .dwg -- as our client will accept them in .dwg format only.
There is one element that doesn't seem to transfer when exporting. It is a red circle in Illustrator, but when exported, it shows up as a black outlined circle. Any way to fix this in Illustrator so that it appears correctly in .dwg?
We have the same red circle in other projects, and when exporting, they show up in the .dwg perfectly. I tried to copy that red circle from another project and pasted it into my current project. I matched the properties with the eyedropper tool, but still, no red circle in .dwg.
I've included a screen shot of what is happening. This is the .dwg. You can see there is a black outlined circle next to the 'D' in the stairwell on the image. It is supposed to be a red circle. Below, in the empty space in the lower right corner, I copied and pasted another red circle from another project that is appearing fine in the .dwg.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

Missing permission when calling sap transaction via composer

Hello,
we have created a complex model. in this model some sap transaction are called.
With Administrator rules everything is working fine.
but when portal role is assigned to a normal user, only real composer parts are working and all url ivew calling an sap transaction are failing.
where do I have to adjust permission ?

i guess you're calling the "pcd:portal_content/com.sap.portal.migrated/ep_5.0/templates/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.TransactioniView" with some parameters (system, tcode, etc.). You have to add this iview to your models role (our change the permissions of the iview). To hide in the navigation, edit the iview preference: com.sap.portal.navigation.Invisible (German: Unsichtbar in Navigationsbereichen) -> change it only in the role->iview, do not change it in the iview itself.

Logo is missing elements when I save for web

I was given a logo to work with for a project, but whenever I try to save it as a gif, jpeg, or in another image format, the text of the logo is missing.
Here's a screenshot of what it's supposed to look like:

I've adjusted the colors of the butterfly and the text to the lime green color you see, but the text is missing and some of the original colors appear on the save for web preview.
I've tried the following to no avail:
Copy & pasting the logo
Changing colors
Ungrouping the logo
Expanding the logo
Adding stroke
Live paint
Saving as a PDF works, but when I tried printing flyers with the image at Kinkos, I ran into the same problem with the text disappearing. Does anyone know how to fix this? I know I could just put it in Photoshop to get the final product I want, but I'll be using this logo in the future and don't want to have to experience the hassle again.
This is in Illustrator CS5, and I'm working on a PC.

You're welcome. I wishthere was a way to have "white set to overprint" marked some how of course you can always tst it by turning on overprint preview.
But if you do not have that turned on it would be nivce to have a marker of some kind.

Missing and partially-missing elements when printing PDF's -- Problems began 3 days ago

Source files and PDF's created from them are printing fine from Ai and PS, but the same Ai- and Ps-created PDF's opened in Acrobat Pro or preview app are not. Elements are missing, some completely, some partially; half a word or half an image missing, or an image but no drop shadow and vis-versa. Furthermore, what does and doesn't print changes with each printing attempt.
Not sure what the problem is; it's not a matter of color profile of items or documents, missing links, outline vs. text, or even vector vs. raster.
All attempts to print have been on digital printers, both here in our office and at a local print shop, with the same results. Problem just started 3 days ago; can't find anything in forums and am not sure where to turn...

You probably need to start by establishing whether your problem is before or after creation.
To do that just open in Acrobat a file made before the problem started which you are SURE used to be good.
- If it's still good, you have a problem with PDF creation
- If it's gone bad you have a problem with PDF printing

SSRS Report is missing data when exported to Excel via a subscription

I have an SSRS report on a daily subscription that creates an Excel attachment and emails it to a number of users. Some of the users are reporting that they cannot see all
of the data in the Excel attachment.
The report has a date column and 6 numeric columns, and the affected users cannot see the numerical columns - the fields are empty. The date column is displaying
correctly along with all of the column headers.
If however I change the format to XHTML, all data is displayed for all users.
What's weird is that it is not affecting all users - for the affected users, the file size of the attachment is considerably smaller so it doesn't look like the
issue is with their PC's - the data is not there to begin with.
I've tried setting the DataElementOutput property on each of the fields to Output but no luck.
I am using SQL Server 2008R2.

Try making a direct shortcut for the Organizer and Editor. Make sure you have the correct file path as there is more than one exe file. You can then launch the programs directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen. This is generally better as the welcome screen leaves background processes running.
On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
Then click the browse button and navigate to:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 9 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
Then click Next; then click Finish
Then make a direct shortcut for the Editor in a similar manner.
On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
Then click the browse button and navigate to:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Then click Next; then click Finish
N.B. on 64 bit systems navigate to Program Files (x86)

This still does not work. I have tried to correct this several times
before by doing just what you suggest, but it does not work.   I click on "APD
Advanced Dialog", and it still does not appear when I load my compactflash
card.    This also DOES NOT bring up the Advanced Dialog box where I can
select either advanced or regular etc.   Something is seriously wrong with
this edition of Photoshop 11.   I also tried to acces the link you sent, and
I cannot open it. - ???????
We still have a problem that is not fixed.

Had this happen to me after a recent update, was super annoying. To turn off, go to Settings > AirPlay > Conference Room Display > Off.

I have created RRI between two reports and the type is web template/WAD.
My requirement is to show the variable screen of target report when clicked on direct link and it should not show the var. screen if it goes from jump/go to.
while currently I can not see var. screen on both the places and when switching the var. scree. display on in web template , it shows the screen at both the places.

Did you try using such a variable? What kind of a problem do you face? I am sorry I am still trying to understand your problem. I am just saying that which variable you use is not important for the first query. Only in the second query, add a variable with ready for input (I am not sure why the other doesn't work, I just tried and it gave an error, that's why I suggest this) and in RRI connection make the assignment with this variable. Please try this and let me know the result.

BEX :Selection screen missing when executing a query

Hi all,
When I am executing a query through BEX Analyzer,I am not getting the Selection Screen Popup.Instead ,the report is directly being generated.So,this is giving rise to various problems.But when the user is executing through portal,he is getting the selection screen.
I am not getting this Selection screen popup in all the DEv,Quality,PreProd and Production systems.And hence ,i am not able to give the selections for a report
Can anyone please provide a solution for this?

Our GUI version is 710 and 640 is recommended by the client.Hence, no problem with that.The user is able to execute more than one query.
Do u think it is a basis or security related issue.Or is it due to Application of some GUI Patches.

The bookmarks button is missing from the navigation tool bar. When I right click and select customize it appears and when I click done on the customization box button, it disappears.

I can no longer access the library to back up my bookmarks. Why did you change it from Firefox 3 where you could clock on the bookmarks tab and be able to backup your bookmarks?

Actually the Bookmarks Menu button doesn't appear because you have the Menu Bar visible in your first screenshot. The Bookmarks Menu button should appear to the right of the overflow chevron on the Bookmarks Toolbar if the Menu Bar is hidden.

Content Viewer missing when InDesign is installed via Packager: how to install it? (Windows)

Hello there,
we're having an issue deploying InDesign CC via Packager on 9+ Windows7 workstations: Content Viewer is missing - error when previewing a Folio. (I've verified it can not be included in the package)
I've suggested administrators to manually install DPS Desktop tools downloaded from the Adobe website (Adobe - DPS Desktop Tools : For Windows) over the deployed InDesign, they report install is not successful.
All other CC applications work, including InDesign (updated to latest Feb 2015 release). Adobe AIR seems to be installed.
User has admin roles. Any suggestion about the proper installation workflow? Can we install Content Viewer only?.
