Screens on Se51.

Hi ,
A screen has been created already on Se51.
I want to hide one dropdown box from that screen and need to add another drop down box.
when i opened the window on se51 it just seems like having only a line for all the fields. there is no property window available for that. For field labels it just has only a single horizontal line.
Can anyone tell why it's like this. What to be done to get the property window and the graphical element box .

Just it has only a single line for each fields. If i look into the elementary list it has all the field names with respect to the screen fields.

Once you open the program in SE51.. Gotot UTILITIES=>SETTINGS=> Check Graphichal Editor.
Now open Layout.

Screens in SE51

Hi Experts,
My system has been upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. After the upgrade the standard screen 2900 of program MP000600 is deleted by the upgrade. I retrieved the screen using SE51 transaction.
My problem is even though it is retrieved it is not appearing in the SE80 transaction for the program MP000600. It is retrieved successfully as I can see the screen in SE51 but not in SE80.
I can't create the screen in se80 also as it says that the screen already exists.
what can be the reason. Please help.

Whenever you perform a standard infotype enhancement of an infotype (e.g. 0006) three components are built"
1. CI Include CI_P0006
2. Module Pool : ZP000600
3. Include Screen
Now, the Include Screen can have any number. Here it is not necessary that the screen number start with 9***.
This new screen is attached to the enhancement module pool viz. ZP000600. Please check whether ZP000600 exists in your server and if it does, then see whether the screen is attached to it.
In my server MP000600 does not have a 2900 screen.

the invisible fields will be looking faded
click on that and press the DEL button.
that will be deleted.

Screen in SE51

If i create a screen in se51,how to use that screen for more than one report program?
Is it possible if i call it thru a subroutine?if yes,how?

incase you are assigning a tcode to that screen, then you can call that screen in any report program using call transaction 'tcode name;.

Upload Functionality for creating Screens in SE51

Hi Experts,
I am working in 4.7
I successfully downloaded the screen from 4.6 into a text file but when i went to 4.7; upload functionality is disabled.
Is there any other way or standard program available to create Screens in SE51 if we have downloaded files for the screen .>??

but in my case Upload is grayed out in case of this particular program even if I am creating a dummy screen
My program already exist in SE38 in 4.7 and i have to copy screen from 4.6 . So I was looking for some simple tool like UPload /Download ..
I dont know why Uplaod is inactive in case of this program

Windows Vista and Graphical Screen painter (SE51)

Hi,
I am using Windows Vista Business Service pack 1. SAP GUI 7.1 with patch 9.
When I try to launch a graphical screnn painter tool such as SE51, I am always greeted by a Character screen painter.
I have tried all options by changing settings in control panel, on SAP GUI etc but of no use.
If it sounds familiar to anybody, request you to please share your efforts to enable graphical screen painter.

I found the solution.
If you are facing same problem , follow the bellow steps.
1. Declare in report.
TYPE-POOLS: VRM.
DATA: NAME TYPE VRM_ID,
LIST TYPE VRM_VALUES,
VALUE LIKE LINE OF LIST.
2. IN PBO Event.
clear: list.
NAME = 'TXT_PERIOD'. " your screen field name
VALUE-KEY = '1'.
VALUE-TEXT = 'LINE 1'.
APPEND VALUE TO LIST.
VALUE-KEY = '2'.
VALUE-TEXT = 'LINE 2'.
APPEND VALUE TO LIST.
VALUE-KEY = '3'.
VALUE-TEXT = 'LINE 3'.
APPEND VALUE TO LIST.
CALL FUNCTION 'VRM_SET_VALUES'
EXPORTING ID = NAME VALUES = LIST.

Adding field/column in screen painter SE51

We are trying to add field BSEG-VBUND for transaction code FSB1 fast entry screen (program SAPMF05A screen 8503). The new column will be after CoCd. However as the image below shows, TradPart is only on the first row but is needed on all rows as the other fields are.
We tried to use grouping to include BSEG-VBUND for all rows and in screen layout editor it seems to be correct.
But, when the syntax is checked the error states BSEG-VBUND is not assigned to a loop and that it must appear in "PBO" (PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT) and "PAI" (PROCESS AFTER INPUT).
We added BSEG-VBUND to PAI but then received the error that this is not assigned to a loop.
As a functional - not technical - consultant, I am unfamiliar with how to correct this. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to display the standard function keys in screen painter

Hi ,
I design a screen in se51 where I use push buttons and input/output buttons and so on in the layout, here in the layout or in my final output screen(when i assign this screen to a transaction) I would like to display other standard keys, ie the function keys and application toolbar items. I would like to know whether there is a possibility to do this , if yes then how?
In a menu painter there is a possibility where I can customize the keys or I can use the standard keys by going to se41 extras->adjust template. Is there similar possibilities in the screen painter.

Select-options in SE51 with problem

Hi!
I´m trying to put select-options in screen by SE51.
I create a subscreen:
selection-screen begin of screen 9001 as subscreen.
select-options: so_matnr for mara-matnr.
selection-screen end of screen 9001.
And i call this screen in PBO of my screen 9002:
call subscreen sub01 including sy-repid '9001'.
The select-options appear all right but the button that add more registers (that i could hide with command NO-EXTENSION) not working.
How can i put SO in my screen and all functions work fine??

Try making your screen wider.
On a screen that I have created, all of the buttons are there.

Yes. It is possible to create select-option on the screen by SE51 transaction.
1.
Define the selection-screen as subscreen in the top include of module pool program.
create modulepool program SAPMZ_SELOPT
Place the below code.or u can define that in top include.
REPORT SAPMZ_SELOPT.
TABLES :pa0001.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 100 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS: p_bukrs FOR pa0001-bukrs.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 100.
2.
Goto garphical layout editor, drag Subscreen and drop on screen means define Subscreen area on the screen.
Place the below code in the PBO.
process before output.
" MODULE STATUS_1001.
call subscreen sub_area including 'SAPMZ_SELOPT' '100'.
process after input.
" MODULE USER_COMMAND_1001.
Its working fine. We can write code like that as well.

Error in screen painter

I am trying to open layout in screen painter SE51, but i am not able to open it.Instead some editor type screen is opening .
Also I am getting error ' EU_SCRP_WN32:timeout during allocate/CPIC-CALL:'ThSAPCMRCV''.
Can anyone please tell me the solution to this problem ?

How to use 'Find' menu in Screens

Hi all,
I wanted to know how to use 'Find' menu in screens.
Actually I have created a screen through SE51 and used the pushbutton to assign the function 'Find' ( one with binoculars ). The screen uses a table control to bring all the data from the DB table in the PBO module. When the user uses FIND button the system should prompt a search pop up screen onto which he will enter the search parameter and when he enter that the corresponding line item should be displayed on the tablecontrol. I wanted to know what logic should be incorporated in the program if that pushbutton is used. Please reply immediately. Its urgent.

In the PAI under a module (user_command for example) when the user click the button you should use the command READ TABLE (if you look at the help, there's some options to do the READ dynamically - [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d3/2e974d35c511d1829f0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm]) to get the line index and with it you set the TOP_LINE of the table control ( tc_table-top_line = sy-index for example).
Doing this the selected line will be the first in the table control on the next step (PAI/PBO).

In screen painter(SE51) choose the subscreen tool button and draw a subscreen area on the screen,this subscreen area will be used to hold the subscreen at run time.To make a subscreen select the attribute screen type as subscreen and specify the size of the subscreen according to the size of the subscreen area in which it will be placed.
We use ABAP statement to embed and start the flow logic of the subscreen area in the PBO of a screen. A subscreen can contain another subscreen.
CALL SUBSCREEN subscreen_area INCLUDING program screen_number.
A similar call should also exist in PAI of screen.It will also call the PAI modules of the subscreen and will transfer data from subscreen to ABAP program.
CALL SUBSCREEN subscreen_area.
open T.code : ABAPDOCU
path:BC ABAP Prg ->ABAP User dialog ->Screen ->Complex screen element - >Subscreen.
You will get sample prg, Run it.You can get lot of sample prg in T.Code ABAPDOCU.

How to add new column in screen painter

I have try to add new column on existing screen and test screen in se51, the column is added in position correctly. But when I run program call this screen, the added column is placed as the last column.

I have check the table control, it has fix column. So, I set fix column to 0 at table control but when execution by program call it's still not update what I have changed. (On test screen in se51, it come out correctly and updated)
So, I don't know why I use program call this screen, the screen is not updated what I have try to change but, when execute in test screen it come out correctly
PS. I have check attribute, it's numbered right.
