Screenshot save locations changed, anyone know where too?

when using the Command-Shift-3, Command-Shift-4 etc. to captuer a screenshot since the upgrade to Mavericks I can't figuer out where the new save location is., it use to be the desktop, but now it donsn't seem to be anywhere...
does anyone know where screenshots are beeing saved.

Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.screencapture.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. Log out, log back in, and test.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

If you erased or replaced your hard drive since iWeb was cancelled, then they are gone. Otherwise, if you have maintained backups then check those.
Usually such files are in the /Home/Library/ folder or a sub-folder.
Exposing the /Home/Library/ Folder
Pick one of the following methods:
A. This method will make the folder visible permanently. Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and paste the following at the command prompt:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN.
B. Click on the Desktop, press the OPTION (⌥) button, select Library from the Finder's Go menu.
C. Select Go To Folder from the Finder's Go menu. Paste the following in the path field:
~/Library
Press the Go button.

i know the windows font folder works, but adobe used to have a font folder of there own.
there is no C:\Program Files\Common Files\Fonts in cs5.
only
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\FontsRequired
and
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\FontsRecommended
which i did try.

The Adobe font folder is a goner. It is deprecated as of CS5 and no longer used. any fonts must be installed using your operating system's font management.

I am having the SAME problem with FIREFOX! I restarted, but I see no TAB and no response on my iPhone 4s. I am using FIREFOX 8.0.1, so I did not have to install SYNC as it already comes with. How much $$ do you care to spend to transfer the data on the LC's 40 or 80 MB hard drive? The original LC is now 21 years-old and has little if any market value (I know - I have an LC I and an LC III), so professional repair will easily exceed that. It's considered "obsolete" by Apple's authorized repair shops, so parts are not available. Was it starting up normally before it stopped working, and if so, were the date & time always correct after it had been disconnected from an electrical outlet? If not and if startups have been hit or miss for a while, your LC undoubtedly needs a new PRAM battery installed. It's a 3.6-volt ½AA lithium battery and is installed in a black plastic holder w/retainer cover clipped over it on the LC's motherboard. The battery can be purchased at battery specialty retailers for about $8 or less, as well as from a number of online merchants. If you don't mind paying 2-3 times the value of the battery, Radio Shack carries it. If you need directions for installing the battery, post back. It's the least expensive thing to try and a new battery has brought many a dead Mac back from the dead. As for the internal hard drive, it could be removed and installed in a slightly newer, pre-G3 Power Mac having an internal SCSI bus. If there are any thrift stores in your area, you might find a suitable Mac for this purpose. This would involve removal of the hard drive from the LC and installation in the newer Mac, with a slight change in the LC's SCSI address jumper placement. Once installed in the newer Mac, the files could be copied. If this is more challenging than you planned on, you might check your area for a Mac User Group, where you might be able to take your LC and have someone transfer the files for you. After the files have been transferred to another medium, you may have problems trying to open them on a newer Mac running a newer OS version than the LC's (System 7.0, 7.1, 7.5.x, or 7.6), if the programs aren't compatible.

Actually, I strongly suspect if classes were available on any 'feature" that
Apple sales would soar! Too often - I hear about the learning curve. Which I

Oops, I forgot a step between 7 and 8 ... before syncing the iPhone I need to explicitly send the document back to iTunes on the iPhone, or the changes won't come over at all ...
and then one more thing ... Numbers on iOS does NOT recognize a number of key features of the OSX app, such as conditional formatting ... so after editing my document on iOS and syncing it back to OSX on my Mac, all of those settings are lost (no more conditional formatting, have to do it all over again)
What am I doing wrong ?

I know this is no longer supported forms 6.0, however, I have an application which is running on forms 6.0 for solaris. Unfortunely, I lost the CD and I have to make some changes on this application. On the mininal changes if I can get back oracle forms 6.0 for solaris.

you can also find it in your "ulitilty" folder located in the Applications folder.
I assume you have Logic installed or you'd be posting in the GB forum.

You can disagree and I respect your opinion but if you can handle with technique why you think everyone can do it too. I hope you know that a small mistake can be responsible for some hardware damage.
Inside the notebook there are placed so many small plastic parts that can be broken. Can you imagine someone read this manuals and think oh yeah thats easy I can do this alone and if something goes wrong, what they should do? Simply order new part and maybe the next time will be lucky or what.
What is with warranty? Sorry but, in my opinion, there are more arguments for not publishing such documents. Small stuff like RAM upgrade or HDD exchange is OK and steps how to do this you can find in users manuals, but display exchange or cooling system disassembling.....
