Script errors with Weatherbug, not related to "unresponsive" problem

This script problem with Weatherbug has been going on forever. It is not the "unresponsive" script error problem. I get repeated messages asking me if I want to continue running scripts. ( followed buy the error message {invalid etc}) Responding "yes" or "no" results in nothing, just another script error message I changed the "dom.max_script_run_time" to "0" as recommended from a WWW support site, this had no effect.

File-script-image processor then a script error: Window does not have a constructor:324
trying to run a batch to resize photos and this happens everytime.  Same thing is said in all options under script.

photoshop cs6 extended running on windows 7 home edition.
i wanted to resize images, so i opened photoshop clicked file-selected scripts-selected image processor.
every video i have seen to resize a few images says this is how you do it, then input some data. and you resize the images.
But after i select image processor i get an error.
Script Alert: "Something major has happened and I can't continue.  Would you like to see more information?"
I select yes
Script Alert: "ReferenceErorr: Window does not have a constructor:324"
If I select scripts event manager, it says the same thing
If I select load files into stacks it says "Error 22, Window does not have constructor.  Line 388 var w= new window (res)
If I select statistics I get the same error message.
So nothing under scripts works.

Import errors with numbers, not enough memory

Hi heiko,
From your system profile line, it appears you should be asking this question in the iWork For iOS forum, not this one, which deals with Numbers for Mac OS X. I'd also suggest being a bit less cryptic in writing your question.
The link will take you to the iWork for iOS forum.

• Unresponsive script error with firefox 30

We are using heatmap.js from below site
http://www.patrick-wied.at/static/heatmapjs/example-heatmap-leaflet.html
Till firefox 29, It was working fine there was no unresponsive script error but after to firefox 30
Its giving unresponsive script error and never stops.
Please check into this issue.

Hi,
The problem is till firefox 29, this page was loading fine but after upgrade to firefox 30.Its starting showing unresponsive script error.
I am a developer and was using this library for one of my project and its still working fine for firefox version below 30.
so it seems firefox 30 seems to be having some issue with processing javascript code for this library.
FYI. I already disabled firebug and other addons to verify if its not due to some conflict with addons.

• Crashing and unresponsive script errors with FF 4 and Yahoo Mail.

When using the new beta version of Yahoo mail I keep getting unresponsive script errors and sometimes it just crashes FF and when I force quit I'm told FF is "not responding".
This only happens with Yahoo mail and only since I've upgraded to FF 4.

Yahoo have posted a solution to this problem on their site.
Hopefully this works.

• Whay am I having script errors with some of my websites only on Firefox, not other browsers, causing the computer to freeze for a bit at a time.

I keep getting "script" errors and my computer locking up while using Mozilla Firefox on some of my websites. I don't have this problem while using Internet Explorer. Why has this just started and how can I resolve this? I like Firefox, but will have to start using a different browser if this doesn't get resolved.

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
* On Windows you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* On Mac you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the option key while starting Firefox.
* On Linux you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by quitting Firefox and then going to your Terminal and running: firefox -safe-mode (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
* Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshooting extensions and themes article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.

• I have been having scripting errors that have not been able to be resolved by any of the measures listed on your Help page.

I've gone through the Help list under "Unresponsive Script Errors": I don't have Webroot SpySweeper; I tried letting the scripts run longer (selecting "Continue") but they keep coming up; my errors come up all the time, not just on certain websites; and I tried disabling add-ons to see if they were causing the problem, but they weren't. I have also completely cleared my cache several times and then updated Java, since I've heard outdated versions of this can cause scripting errors. I finally tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox (a clean reinstall, with no preferences saved), but that didn't work, either. Then I downloaded FileHippo and downloaded all other the updates it detected as being needed for my system, including Firefox Beta. Could my low RAM possibly cause my continued problems? Also, are scripting errors related to No Response errors? I am still getting these, too, after performing all except the most complicated remedial actions for them recommended on the Help page. (Both these types of errors started occurring for me at the same time.)

The error often has the name of the extension in it in some manner, supply the message wording then at least we'd have an idea of what you see. Plus we really don't know what you did look at, or what you actually tried of what you did look at.
For instance "AVG Free" shows something like tavgp in the message, if I recall correctly, so they aren't always real obvious unless you've seen it before.
But if you really went through some of help pages you would have tried in Safe Mode, gone through the diagnostics, and almost certainly gone through all your extensions turning half off then have of those on or have of those just turned off back on again and repeat -- not fun but it doesn't take a real long time, but I'd rather try other ways first, because I have a lot of extensions and many are already turned off because of Firefox changes for the worse, certainly not because I don't need them.

• Firefox freezes/script errors with every page load

Have had this issue for about a week now where every single page I load freezes for 20-30 seconds and comes back with a script error of some kind asking me to either stop it or continue on. Appears to be Java related but have tried everything to clear the errors (cleared Java cache, Reset Firefox, ran TFC) and they are still coming up.
Both Chrome and IE work fine loading the same pages.
Troubleshooting info from FF below if it helps

Hi,
I am sorry to hear about Firefox not responding on many websites. Please try to change the max time a script can load with these noted config preferences: The default preference may be hitting the limit?
If it is java related, have you reinstalled Java or checked if it was up to date?

• Habitual Script Errors with Verson 29.0.1

While pop-up script errors have bedeviled Firefox since nearly forever, I've found after upgrading to version 29.0.1 to have even more of a problem with this. In particular, on the website http://www.wonkette.com/ I've had a terrible time just in the last week without their having been any change to that website or more browser. It seems to have happened out of nowhere. It's too the point of where I can not navigate the site without being on it for hours. I can get half-a-dozen script error pop-ups within an hour, and this is without even going between pages. The site absolutely crawls (scrolling becomes near-impossible) and hangs for minutes on end.
Can anyone replicate this experience, there? Has anyone found any ways around these errors? I can tell you right up front that it's not the result of a corrupted profile. It's not the the plug-ins; I've experimented with turning them all off, turning them off one by one and then turning them back on to see which gives me problems...and it's not that. As you can tell by the troubleshooting information, I'm running a rather old operating system, but that's only been of minimal issue across the internet for me. This seems to be something with the browser, and I'm wondering if there are any settings on about:config that may help me with this issue?

Hi FireFoxFan1,
Thank you for your question. We had some really excited visitors to the support forum on Monday and we could use some more help. If you would like to help out this is how to become a contributor: Get Involved
In regards to your issue, I opened up the Networker for that website and saw a ton of scripts running. If you want to block them to prevent the message you can use the Ad Block Plus add on to scan what is running on the page too.
I hope this helps. And thank you for being a Firefox Fan, I am too ;-)

We're on NW2004s, users run Windows XP with I.E 7.
Im trying to edit one document in my KM with the "Edit Locally" option. The moment I click on this option, it shows a Java Script error on the page and shows that the excel sheet is still opening (Loading....). It never opens.
The Java Script reads -> Object doesnt support this property or method.
Do I need to do any configurations ? Any clues ?

I checked this link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/24/ae5e77711b431c887aa5193af8d851/frameset.htm
and checked the folloing :
You can also verify the download as follows:
           1.      In the Web browser of the user, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
           2.      In the General tab, click the Settings button.
           3.      In the Settings window, click the View Objects button.
           4.      In the Download Program Files window, if any of the following appear in the Program Files list, then the ActiveX control was downloaded:
¡        ExpBaseNegotiator
¡        ExpApplSelect
¡        ExpApplShareX
The above files are not there in my Downloaded program files window. Which means my active x is not enabled.
Any idea where can I get these files ?

• Photomerge Issues - Script Error Auto allign not possible

Ever since I upgraded to Photoshop CC , I have been unsucessful in Photomerging. I receive an error  Script Error cannot autoallign all images. I have tried merfing on a panoramic program and  experience no problems.
I have also tried auto alligning using Photoshop CC using diffent images from different cameras and receive the same script error
Any ideas would be appreciated

What OS are you running?  32 bit or 64 bit?  How big are your source images and how many do you have for a given pano?
I just did a 360 degree pano that ended  up 25689 x 1850 pixels (after cropping) from 17 raw Canon 40D images, all handheld while standing in different spots around the Clingman's Dome observation tower in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Photoshop CS5 standard 64 bit on Windows 7 x64 with 8 GB RAM didn't have any problem at all with it, though it took about 10 minutes or so to finish.  The result came out astoundingly good, even though the slight changes in perspective should have been challenging.
http://Noel.ProDigitalSoftware.com/temp/ViewFromClingmansDome_NPS.jpg
If you don't mind my asking, what do you do with hundreds of panoramas?  It's an difficult image format to find uses for to say the least.

• SSRS 2008 reports with images throw script error with IE9

When i try to load SSRS 2008 report in a browser or a application with browser control on machine which has IE9, it loads the image but throws some script error. I also tried installing the ReportViewer08 SP1.exe, but still i get the error.
The error is "Object doesnt support method or property"
In the script debugger i see debugger stuck at  "this.Poll..." statement.
function anonymous()
this.PollResizeImages(oReportDiv, oReportDiv);

I'm also getting this error when I run a report using ReportViewer control
on many environments including production for my customers
I have Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP1) - 10.50.2500.0 (X64)   Jun 17 2011 00:54:03   Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation  Developer Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build
7601: Service Pack 1) (Hypervisor)
Funny thing is another environment with same version doesn't ( internal )
doesn't get this error
Another symptom is that images when report is first run are cropped but
refreshing report or changing to another report page and back again the
issue doesn't occur
