Script for filesystem- report on windows

Hello experts,
i have to create every week a filesystem- Report (Excel- Sheet) of several Windows- Server. Now I'm looking for a method how i can automate this task.
It is possible to create a report from Central- Monitoring system for all this systems?
I have the following ideas to do this:
Using function module like GET_FSYS_SINGLE and integrate this in a java- program ... Export data of ccms- Monitoring data into a report...
I appreciate any hint!

Logon Scripts for copying files in Windows 7

Issues using Logon scripts to copy files in windows 7. Its default is to append the file rather than copy and replace, which is what XP did. How can I achieve the same results using
logon scripts in W7 to copy any files to specified folders and replacing old files. The reason for this is that we use a software that performs offsite/onsite updates and the only way all the users can have the correct version/tables is to either manually
update each user in a 90+ user environment or use a logon script to perform the coping of the updates. Unfortunately the software support won’t create a (while logging in to software) patch for this. So we have to force it during the user logon.

Script for cold backup on windows

looking for a script that can be scheduled nightly to perform
a cold backup to disk of a 8.1.7 database on windows.
while i've seen many, i'm looking for one that will keep 3 days worth
of backups... then write over the oldest etc...

Scripts for availability reports

Hello,
I am looking for scripts to check if my databases meet the Uptime of our Service Level Agreement.
With the GUI i select Reports, but i can only select a period of days, not between hours in a day.
For example: out criteria is to have the db available between 7:00 and 19:00 hours.
Hope anyone can help me

Start up and shutdown scripts for Oracle R12 in Windows XP

I succesfully installed R12.1.1 in Windows XP and logged onto the Vision without any issues. But after restarting my PC, I am unable to restart (I dont know how to restart) the services.
I see the other threads that talk about the same scripts in Linux environment.
If anyone knows - how to start and shutdown R12 services in Windows environment, Plz share.

SAP Add On for Crystal Reports - no window for account setup

Already installed the add on: windows server 2008 64 bit / SAP Business One 8.8 PL 12.
Crystal Runtime is installed too.
After activating the add on, we tried to do the 'account setup'.
But there was a error: ' Item - could not commit action because the item is currently in focus [66000-23].
Anyone there to help us solving ?

Start up script for EPM 11.1.2 in Unix or Windows...

Is there a sample start up script for starting required services in EPM 11.1.2 ?
I saw that the Program Files item for EPM, has a link to some start up script but
it starts everything and it seems to refer to many scripts and seem complicated.
Is there a simple script for EPM 11 ? In System 9, I used Net Start to start services in a batch file and
used Sleep command between commands to give enough time for the services. But it would be nice
if there is a script which automatically checks to make sure to start the next service only after a dependent service has started.

Shell script for Automatic Awr Report

I have a requirement to generate the AWR report daily between (10AM - 06PM , 10AM - 01PM , 01PM - 10PM) . I have the below script for this . But the issue is this script is working only when i run it two times and before running i have to delete snap_list.lst file. Please let me know what is the problem in this script and how to resolve it.

You can track the form and the print program used for that form
The Tcode NACE is used to link the Standard SAP forms (SCRIPTFORM or SMARTFORM) or the customized form or the new form to its respective print programs. Also the output types, Form entry are linked with their forms and print programs. In short term, i can tell u that configuration or customization of forms to print programs, assigning output types, form entry to the forms are done using this Tcode.
NACE is used to create output type while creating the output type you will mention forms, and driver program.
that will be maintained in the table TNAPR.if you create the output type using NACE then it will be automatically visible in table NAST and TNAPR.
so check in NAST, TNAPR table

FIM Reporting ETLScript PowerShell Script for SCSM 2012?

Hi,
The FIM Reporting Deployment Guide is great, however on a few occasions it forgets to mention where you meant to execute things (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj133855(v=ws.10).aspx) .
For example, if it wasn't for the screenshot in the article, we would not have known that we need to run the ETLScript from the FIM Service/Portal server.
Everything until the ETLScript has thus far worked; and we have deployed the Service Manager 2012 console on the FIM Service/Portal server (since we are using SCSM 2012 for FIM Reporting).
However, it appears that the ETLScript (in the deployment guide) has been written for SCSM 2010.
So, has Microsoft or anyone published an updated SCSM 2012 ETLScript script?

Apple script for Message box when Mail app Compose Window Opens

Hi there
I'm trying to make mail app remind me to choose the right emaill address to send from since I have several email addresses. Is there a way I can make or write an apple script for a message box to pop up whenever mail app's compose window opens up.
I can do for the case when I actally click the compose button when I'm on mail app by using UI scripting. But when it comes to hyperlinks which opens up the compose window, it fails.
I just want a script to see whether the compose window is open and if open pop up a message box.

Hi Experts,
We have Goldengate environment and replicating the data between on source to Many target environments , both source and target environments are Oracle only, To monitor the process and exceptions we have used shell scripts on both the environments,
now we have new requirment for replicating the data between oracle to sql server , we have install goldengate on windows NT server for target environment , But in source we are using shell script for monitirong manger process and extract process , like if mgr or extract process is abended immediatly we will get the alert mail through mailx functionality, Now we need to use the same approach for windows sql serer as well , can any one please guide how to achive the monitoring requirment in windows environment as like unix/solaris, is there any option available in windows to writing the scritps like shell also sending the alert mails, Kindly suggest on this.

Each time I extract the files, the

will not open because it is corrupt.
There is an additional file named:

which I have not attempted to open for obvious reasons....

I don't know for sure, but a good guess is that it's the same
readme in
Japanese. I don't have Japanese characters installed so
perhaps that's why
the gobbletygook?
However, the AdobeCS3CleanReadMe.pdf in the download I just
got is fine.
Try downloading again .. if that doesn't help .. and your
Adobe Reader is

Cold Backup Script for windows

Hi,
I have the following script for windows
set pages 0 lines 500;
set heading off echo off feedback off verify off pagesize 0;
select 'copy ' || name || ' c:\BACKUP\COLD_BACKUP\ORADATA\' from v$datafile
union all
select 'copy ' || name || ' c:\BACKUP\COLD_BACKUP' from v$controlfile
union all
select 'copy ' || member ||' c:\BACKUP\COLD_BACKUP' from v$logfile
union all
select 'copy ' || name || ' c:\BACKUP\COLD_BACKUP' from v$tempfile;
exit;
In the above script I have given COLD_BACKUP directory for Backup....But what i want is Dynamically it should create the Directory with timestamp in COLD_BACKUP Directory and copy the files to that directory..
for example
script should create like this
c:\BACKUP\COLD_BACKUP\ORCL_11112007
Like that..it should create the ORCL_11112007 directory and copy the files....
how can i acheive this...I know we can do it in UNIX..
But in windows..how we can acheive this...please help me
