Hi
I want to display 3 paragraphs in 3 different languages in a script. How to do that?

convert ur information in different language
and just paste it in the change editor.

In the Script, we will use Text elements, so the Text elements will appear in the log on language,
1) You can goto transaction SE63 and translate the scripts into different languages.
2) In SE63, click Translation -> Long Texts -> Sapscripts -> Forms
3) Those language you can convert to have already been pre-installed in the system.
4) SE63 is the best way to translate since it offers check options.
However, it does not mean that it is 100% full proof that everything is correct

Printing script in different languages at a time

Hello experts
could you please solve my problem, i modified a standard script of dunning letter, the poblem is when we give print it should be printed 3 copies, each in different language, that is one dunning letter in english, one in german, one in french.
is there any solution for my problem, if yes please respond as early as possible

I guess it can be done by modifying the driver program and changing language inside the DO loop as shown in the below example.
Ex: Do 3 times
**First time ENGLISH
**Pass your open_form , write_form , Close_Form , don't forget to change the language variable.
***IF Language = ENGLISH
***Change LANGUAGE TO GERMAN.
***ENDIF.
***IF Language = GERMAN
***Change LANGUAGE TO FRENCH.
***ENDIF.
ENDDO.

Problem when calling script in different languages..

Hi,
            I copied F150_DUNN_01 standard sap script to ZDUNN in all 12 languages. And after that i changed the original language from DE to EN. Made some changes. When I am executing the transaction F150 it is calling the ZDUNN. The standard program is calling the script based on language. the language is not Login language, it is picking language from customer master. When the customer language is EN, am seeing the changes. When the languages is HU am not seeing the changes. Later i came to know that it is calling the same form in HU language, then i change the same ZDUNN form by loging in HU. And now If HU also the changes are coming.
             I copied the form in all 12 languages, and same name. When i change anything in EN its not reflecting in another language. So as per my requirement I changed in EN and HU. Now if the customer languages is not EN or HU, i want the form default in HU. Say if customer languages is RU, the print program is picking RU form, no changes in that. What will happen if delete the form in RU, what the print program will do?? will it pick default language or through any error?? Please tell me about this? And do you know how to copy standard script in only 3 languages in ECC 6.0???

If the form is not available it will cause shortdump (Ex: /E 143 Element is not Found )
When your creating or changing the form in the
Administrative tab you will find the Language attributes   Translate into all languages & To Individual Languages & Do not translate Go through that
You will find the lots of forums on this

Script with different language

Heloo all,
I have a form in EN, I want the same form in Japan language JA.
It should support the following condition:
1. If i login in JA, for example TEXT window show some text in JA or other what i maintained.
2. If I login in EN, then the same TEXT window show some differen text which i maitained.
Form name should be same in above casess.
Plz let me know how to achive the above requirmet for single form.
Plz provide steps to achive this.

Hi Sandya,
for copying the standard script into csutome script follow this steps
In transaction SE71 goto Utilities -> Copy from client -> Give source form name, source client (000 default), Target form name.
Open the custom form with DE language clcik on change button.
save+ activate.
Now
Press F3(back)
Nad give the same form name and opne it in JA langauge
Click on change and save + activate.

Not able to Export sap script with RSTXSCRP in different languages IT,ES

Hi all,
I am trying to export sap script to local file using this program RSTXSCRP, but it's working fine for English but not other languages like IT,ES and DA. Even if i specify parameter in selection screen Language vector as IT. It's not exporting code from sap script for IT language. By default it's exporting only EN.
Can you please tell me what I have to do to export sap script from different language.

For Translating you can do it by
Going in transaction SE63 -> Translation -> Abap objects -> Other Long Texts -> FS Forms and Styles.
There you have to enter client and form name source lang. and target lang.
Then you export it with the program RSTXSCRP in the language u have translated....
As you have form created in English and you can download and upload it in only English .

I have been troulbe ,
when I edit my script in se71 ,it can't success(if i log on use english).
but I edit my script in se76 and original language"en" ,targer languge"zh",to edit ,the mofication will be success(if I logo the system in chinese).
how can I edit it successful in enghlish system?

U can EDIT the FORM only in any language but not at the same time or parallely. U cannot Edit parallely though they are different languages.
As per your Message ( "Form ZMMR00 lang. ZH locked: Original lang. EN being processed"), i think u r trying to EDIT the FORM in both EN & ZH at a time. its not possible, either u first edit in EN and then edit in ZH...

SAP script Read_text in different language

Hi,
My SAP Script is maintained in English language. In one place, i have to read a text which is portuguese.
I have used Read_text FM in print program. The text is read correctly. But while i call that variable in script, a occurs "Language Not allowed".
I can understand that it is because of Language conflict. But is there any solution to overcome this? My user wants that text should be displayed in Portuguese only and the script should be maintained in English
Note: I tried moving the text to another variable and put in script, but still the same error.

Copying A Prexisting Sap Script but in a different language

Well i have to copy a pre existing SAP Script whose original language is EN...and the new script..should have the original language as IT...how do i go about it..

Once you copy script, you go to change option and then goto utilities -> convert original language

Dunning Letter in Different Language.

Hi,
Can we have Dunning letters in different languages for customers? For example if the customer is Spain he shall be receiving dunning letter in Spanish language, if the customer is France he shall be receiving dunning letter from French language and if customer is in Italy he shall be receiving dunning letter in Italian language.
So I need to know where exactly the change needs to be made. Is it in SAP script where we need to define the conditions based upon customer country print the letter in local language?

The SAP script you can create in different lanquages (the same with the text elements, if you use them)
When you say in the custumer that the Language is EN you wil have a English dunning letter, when ES in Spanish, ......

Issue in viewing 'Print Preview' of SAPScript output in different languages

Hi All,
I have developed a SAP Script.
It is working correctly in English in all aspects.
I have created few standard texts for headers in SO10 and maintained in different languages.
In Print program also while retrieving these text i have used Order's language.
In debug mode also it is showing texts in different language (Chinese, Japanese, Thai etc...).
But in print preview it is showing as # every where we suppose to print headers from standard texts.
How can i view these texts in their original language (Order)!
Can anybody provide the solution for the same!

Hi,
I have selected 'Supplemental language support' boxes.
But still it is not working.
Can anybody solve above posted issue!
In PO it is showing in Japanese/Chinese etc.. characters.
In SO10 it is showing texts in respective languiages.
In debug mode of Print program & Layout set text is shown in respective language of text based on country of PO.
But in print preview it is showing as # everywhere there must text in different language.
Only in English i am able to view print preview correctly.
Can anybody provide inputs for resolving this issue!

Developing Acrobat plug-ins for different languages

I presently have an Acrobat plug-in created specifically for the English version of Acrobat 6 and higher. Can someone tell me in general what has to be done in order to accommodate a different language, i.e., Spanish, German, for those using Acrobat? Would the entire script that creates the .api file necessarily have to be written in the specific language or only parts thereof that produce the desired effect in using it? Thank you ahead of time.

That's Great! So basically, if I wanted to market a Spanish version for a plug-in that added a calendar to a PDF form, then all I would need to do is change the script to display the text for each calendar month in Spanish as opposed to English. Does that make sense?

Copying sapscript for printing in different language

Hi,
I need to create a sapscript which needs to be printed in 2 langauges and assigned to 2 different output types(one for english language and other for Chinese).
I have already created teh sapscript for the english language and not sure how to create the other one for chinese language.
The language for printing will be determined from vendor master.
Do I need to copy the sapscript(English version) and while copying just maintain it in English language or Chinese language?
Please advise.

As David says,
you can create your chinese language layout and use Menu path
Form-> Copy From... and copy your english language lanyout to your chinese langyage layout.
after that you can use SE63 for translation your english Script to chinese language Script or directly you can change heading text and other text in inside your layout.
but make sure if your paragraph format is not support chinese language then you can create new paragraph format for chinese language Script.

SE63 is mainly for smartforms.
Do as following
copy the script in required languages.
as far as data is concerned you dont need to worry abpout language.
only thing standard text.
so
go to so10 and give the text id(Ilet us say ST) and text name and language then say create . give the text of particular language.
If you givr EN then enter english transalation if you enetr DE then give german translation. and save it.
Now you can include these text in your script at the required placed or you can get this text using the read_text in your progarmm and place different texts in different fields . then you can use these varaiables in your script.
depend upon the logon language the respective transalationtext will be displayed .
