Script is not getting launched
Hi All,
I have requirement of launching a script when I confirm Business partner.
But unfortunately its not happening though the config settings and rule policy which I have defined is correct.
Am I missing any config? Please advise.
thanks,
Shruthi
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. My problem is almost solved.
One more requirememnt is to launch a survey upon clicking the next button in the script.
But I get the following error.
Script cannot continue; confirm business partner first
I have created a script profile and assigned my script ID to the script profile.
Also, I have assigned this script profile to the business role.
Is there any other config to be maintained ? please help me out with your inputs.
Thanks,
Shruthi

OATS - Browser is not getting launched when I click on the record button.
Hi,
I've just installed Oracle Application Testing Suite in my machine. During the installation process I was intimated that the EmpAppServer in the installation path does not contain the jboss binaries. However, it allowed me to continue with the installation.
I've installed the OATS and the OpenScript. I need to record scripts for a web application. Now when I click on the record button, the browser is not being launched. I don't get any error message too. I'm not sure if this issue has got anything to do with jboss.
Can someone please help me out?
Thanks!Try to run the batch files in the OpenScript directory to disable and re-enable the browser helpers. Which browser do you have OpenScript set to launch, IE or FF? Which version of IE and FF are installed on your machine?

Hi there, I am trying to setup a quad view on my stage by
placing 4 sprites on the stage with the same 3D cast member. I then
apply a behaviour script that initalizes the 4 sprites in their
correct positions and sets up the 4 different camers as follows...
topView
perspView
sideView
frontView
... however, doing so, the script gets called only on the
first sprite and the other 3 sprites do not react with the
behaviour script. As a matter of fact, I also have a sendAllSprites
command inside the behaviour script and it does not send the
message to all of the sprites with that piticular behaviour script.
Is the reason why the behaviour script does not work on the other 3
sprites because I need a diferent 3d castmember for each
sprite?Hello,
You don't need to place 4 sprites of the same W3D cast member
in the score.
1- Place a single occurence (sprite) of the W3D cast member
in the score
2- Create 4 cameras either in your 3D package or by code
using member.newCamera():
topView
perspView
sideView
frontView
3- Set the rect of the four cameras so they correspond to
each corner of the screen
4- Use sprite.addCamera() in order to add the four cameras to
the W3D sprite
That's all you need.
Best regards,
Karl Sigiscar.

SAP Script is not getting called for GI Output type WA03
Dear All,
I have designed one SAP script for goods issue output type WA03 for Tcode Migo.
I have assigned the form name in NACE. But the problem is it is not picking my form, It is giving some Express document error. I am not able to know how the transaction is picking up the form since it is not going to the standard program even though i have kept breakpoint there. Can anybody let me know how the print program (SAPM07DR)is getting called from MIGO.
print program name is SAPM07DR. Standard Script name is WASCHEIN.
Regards,
Ravindra JainHI Ravi,
Did you check the entry in NACE. I think you need to configure the Driver program and sap script there. just try to put a session break point and check why it is not picking.
Thanks,

Popup is not getting launched click on command link in table column value
Hi
We have a scenario where we bring the pop-up clicking on command link in the table column value. It was working fine before but from last few labels this is not working.
Here is the code snippet that we are using,
<af:table>
<af:column>
<af:commandLink>
<af:outputText value=”product name” />
<af:showPopupBehavior TriggerType=”click” PopupId=”::p1”/>
<af:commandLink>
</af:column>
</table>
<af:popup id=”p1”>
<af:dialog>
</af:dialog>
</af:popup>
Thanks,
NageshIt is important to set partialSubmit="true" in the <af:commandLink> tag. A full submit will be made otherwise and the popup will not show. Use also tryggerType="action" instead of triggerType="click" and use the proper chararcter case of the tag attribute names. Try with this:
<af:commandLink text="product name" partialSubmit="true">
<af:showPopupBehavior popupId="::p1" triggerType="action"/>
</af:commandLink>Dimitar -
SQLloder scripts not getting generated for CLOBs
I am trying to migrate MYSQL 3.23 database into Oracle 8.1.7 and after creating the Oracle model and after converting the MYSQL text datatype into CLOB of the Oracle model the SQLloader scripts is not getting generated for CLOB datatypes. I mean the scripts are getting created but there is no change in the script for CLOB datatype.
The script generates the following for the table containing CLOB datatypes:
mysqldump -h <HOST> -u <USERNAME> -p<PASSWORD> -T <DESTINATION_PATH> fields-terminated-by="<ec>" lines-terminated-by="<er>" test av_wbt_course
Please let me know how to load data when the datatype is of CLOB ?I was able to resolve this issue by using OWM Oracle Migration instead of using offline method by sqlloader scripts.

Shell Script not getting invoked in File adapter
Hi all,
Requirement:
PI need to pick the file from source directory and send it to target directory using SFTP.
I'm using SCP command for this purpose.
When I run the shell script (with simple SCP command) from command prompt, script is working fine.
Same script is called from PI File adapter but script is not getting invoked.
In the communication channel logs, "Executed OS command" is available. There are no Error/Warning messages in the log.
NFS transport protocol is used in the File communication channel.
Complete directory path of the shell script is mentioned in File channel -> Run Operating System command after message processing.
Even the following simple command is not working from PI receiver file channel:
echo "Test file" >> /data/test.txt
Please let me know if I'm missing out something.
Thanks,
GeethaHi Geetha,
I think the syntax u are using is not correct. Please follow the below syntax:
/path/<script_name> %F
for ex: /staging/Interface/XI/Script/FTPData %F
use the above in the communication channel.
%F should be after a space.
FTPData is the script name
/staging/Interface/XI/Script/ is the location where the script is present

Custom Email Alert Template Issue - Users not getting customized emails
I have recently customized the XML alerts template (AlertTemplates.xml) for our site collection in SharePoint 2010 to exclude specific fields in the email when users who have subscribed to a list using the "Alert Me" feature. I have renamed
the custom alerts XML file and loaded the custom template in the following directory (%ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web server extensions\14\TEMPLATE\XML) and restarted IIS. Once users subscribe to the alerts using the list using the "alert
me" function they received the customized email as intended.
We needed to auto-subscribe users to the email alerts so what I did was used a powershell script to add users to the alert subscriptions using the script shown in below:
Import-Csv D:\Temp\filename.csv | ForEach-Object{
$webUrl=$_.WebUrl
$listTitle=$_.List
$alertTitle=$_.AlertTitle
$subscribedUser=$_.SubscribedUser
$alertType=$_.AlertType
$deliveryChannel=$_.DeliveryChannel
$eventType=$_.EventType
$frequency=$_.Frequency
$oldAlertID=$_.ID
$web=Get-SPWeb $webUrl
$testAlert = $web.Alerts | WHERE { $_.ID -eq $oldAlertID }
IF ($testAlert) {
$web.Alerts.Delete([GUID]$oldAlertID)
Write-Host Old alert $oldAlertID deleted. -Foregroundcolor Cyan
$list=$web.Lists.TryGetList($listTitle)
$user = $web.EnsureUser($subscribedUser)
$newAlert = $user.Alerts.Add()
$newAlert.Title = $alertTitle
$newAlert.AlertType=[Microsoft.SharePoint.SPAlertType]::$alertType
$newAlert.List = $list
$newAlert.DeliveryChannels = [Microsoft.SharePoint.SPAlertDeliveryChannels]::$deliveryChannel
$newAlert.EventType = [Microsoft.SharePoint.SPEventType]::$eventType
$newAlert.AlertFrequency = [Microsoft.SharePoint.SPAlertFrequency]::$frequency
if($frequency -ne "Immediate"){
$AlertTime=$_.AlertTime
$newAlert.AlertTime=$AlertTime
$newAlert.Update()
Write-Host Created $newAlert.Title for $subscribedUser . -Foregroundcolor Cyan
} ELSE {
Write-Host Alert $alertTitle for $subscribedUser already done. Moving on. -Foregroundcolor Magenta
When I ran the script and added the users and restarted the service, all users who were auto-subscribed via this method would get the email without the customizations that were done in the custom template.
All users who manually subscribed to the list using the "Alert Me" function would get the customized email.
Does anyone know why users who manually subscribe would get the custom email alert and why users who were auto-subscribed using the powershell script do not get the custom email alert?Hi,
To deploy custom alert template file, we would load changes into SharePoint and restart SharePoint 2010 Timer Service from Windows Service. If you create your own AlertTemplate in the custom_alerttemplates.xml, you will need to set the set the SPList.AlertTemplate
property of the list. Then delete and re-subscribe to the alerts for the list.

If so, are you allowing the site, at least on a temporary basis, access by such an Extension?
Your Shockwave for Director is out of date. You can check here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
To update it, use the link on the page below under "Installing Shockwave", download and save to your hard drive, close Firefox, click the file you downloaded, after the install, open Firefox and check on the above link again.

Question
When trying to create a desktop icon, it does not go to the URL.....instead I get 'script' and not a website......the script has http//etc but I am not directed to the website......I previously had IE 8 (on Vista).....is that the problem?I do not have any installed plugins....at least none that I know of.....remember I am a new user......Basically, the desktop icon is not going directly to the Mozilla FF to get me to the web site I need to go to.....FF works when I use the Mozilla FF icon.....just not the icons I create.....THANKS!!! I have also tried reinstalling FF and get the same results.....HELP!!!The address beginning with file:/// denotes a saved file (local file). The file may not be present. You can try dragging the site icon of this page on the left edge of the location (Address) bar and release it on the desktop. Please try opening it. If it still shows an error it could be a problem with the system's zone permissions. You can try setting each zone in the Windows Control Panel or IE > '''Internet Options''' > '''Security''' tab to '''Default Level'''.

Someone did some mayhem, to my " new to me " Apple eMac G4. I came home, (the G4 was asleep) when I woke it, the trash was an eject button, I had two web pages minimized, I went on line and Firefox worked as it had before. After, I shut it down that evening, it wouldn't start up the next day, and, when, I tried, to downnload, it, I get Firefox app could not be launched -10661.
Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac.<br />
Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 8 compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:

END CATCHThis is what I've understood from your question. You want to replace @TradeIn_2_VIN value if @TradeIn_1_VIN
is NULL, else the value of @TradeIn_1_VIN.
If this is the requirement then, your CASE statement is missing ELSE part. You can re-write this as below
case when @TradeIn_1_VIN is null then @TradeIn_2_VIN
ELSE @TradeIn_1_VIN end,
or simply you can replace the CASE statement with the below
COALESCE function,
COALESCE(@TradeIn_1_VIN, @TradeIn_2_VIN),

Is there a way to stop the OS from switching to a newly opened app? I would like to be able to continue what I'm doing while I wait for an app to launch and not get interrupted by a forced entry into the app.
As an example, I'm going to my email in safari, while I wait for it to load, I open an excel document, and the OS decides excel should be the front app, so I go back to safari so I can enter my login info, but halfway through my password the OS decides that excel is where I should finish typing my password.
VERY ANNOYING. Can I open apps in the background?Thank you everyone for the suggestions. J D, I'm not a terminal fan, but I'm sure it works. I found a solution that I can use in the dock from another post.
