Scripted windows update to plug-in version possible?
adobe( flash player distribution ) on adobe website says i have scripted version of windows---they are two versions of windows--scripted and plug--in? it done the automated update but put 12.0.0.38 back on--says it not updated to recent version---12.0.0.43 after many replies and helpful answers i need to know can i get the plug-in so it can update to 12.0.0.43 to make it the updated version? if you go to (flash player distribution) will explain some things --type it the search box on adobe website@

When I turn on the MG4120 printer and the printer is already setup for wireless and I have WSD enabled, Windows 8 or 8.1 automatically installs older Canon MG4100 drivers from Windows update. The same thing happens if I connect the USB printer before installing the Canon software from the website and the same issue also happen in wireless mode. I’ve tried to update my i-Tunes version after the site suggested I should following my i-Pad Air being plugged into it for the first time. The update seemed successful but the program would not open at all despite switching off the PC and re-starting several times. I then tried wiping the original software from the computer and re-downloading from scratch. Each time I tried the download failed with a message saying “Service “Apple Mobile Device” failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services” At this stage, the only way forward was to “abort” the download. This I have done now four times and the same thing happens. When I did finally manage to get an i-Tunes shortcut on my desktop, the program wouldn’t open saying: “i-Tunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install i-Tunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)” Any ideas to resolve this?

I just updated to the latest version of itunes, n ow when I plug in my iphone, it says it cannot sync because "apple mobile device service is not started" this never happen before, what do I do??
The Apple Mobile Device Service is a part of sever programs that "help" iTunes on Windows. It may have been disabled in the Microsoft program, msconfig, or using a third party utility, such as CCleaner.
I would suggest trying to find and enable the service. To do so, click on the start button, click "run", and then type "msconfig" look for the iTunes Helper entry and make sure that it's enabled.
Additionally, there may be another service which you will have to enable. You can type something like "service.msc", (I'm not sure exactly) to see the "Services" control panel and look for it there.
If you can't find either, feel free to post here again.

During the updation of 10.7 version of Itunes on my iphone 4s, my phone has gone into recovery mode & is not showing up in i Tunes nor in my computer (windows xp). What shall i do so that my phone gets connected & running??
Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

When I go to open photoshop 14.2.1 x64 on my Mac laptop, a window ask edit with lightroom rederings, then says that i need a photoshop RAW plug in version 8.4 for full compatibility. Where do I find that? not in updates tool as suggested.

I have found on Google News that AppleInsider reports that Apple is aware of the problems plaguing iTunes 7 and is working to release an updated version, possibly 7.0.1 for both Windows and Mac users.

If I'm in LIghtroom 5, and try to Edit in Photoshop CS6, I always get the following message: "This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 8.6 for full compatibility." But I have updated to 8.6 and have no remaining updates. How can I fix this?
If I click "Open Anyway" or "Render using Lightroom", I get the following message:
"Adobe Photoshop CS6 cannot be opened because of a problem.

Seems to me there was some hiccup they found in the update process, which prompted this:

I honestly don't know if the problem could apply to 8.6 as well, which is why I asked you to check to make very sure you really got it.

I had downloaded and installed one of those automatic Windows update and now whenever I try to open my Firefox I get an error message, "Platform version 6.0.2 is not compatible with minVersion >6.0.1 maxVersion <6.0.1
If you use ZoneAlarm Extreme Security then try to disable Virtualization.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder.

after update to the latest version on my ipad, it no longer connects to the internet nor can i send emails. when plugged in to sync with itunes, it remains 'stuck' at syncing step 2 of 7 backing up. has anyone had similar problems? any solutions?
I had this problem. I held down the power switch to power down completely. Takes a few seconds. Then use the power switch to turn on. Might take a couple goes.

The minimum version required for Viber is 3.1, though it is always important to stay up to date. Why is it that you do not want to download the latest version?

Windows updates this morning gave me a different firefox: the Customize box includes fewer choices. No Text and Icon, which I want. Also, this new version dropped my Autofill.
It wasn't Windows update that caused this, but Firefox automatic updates. It's the new Firefox 29 Australis, their attempt to look more like Chrome. They dramatically changed the UI, removing several features in the process. If the way it looks bothers you as much as it does others you can install Firefox 28 again by going here;

That of course does come with the risk of security exploits they fixed with 29, so beware of that. I also don't know if it will repair your auto fill or anything.
