Scripting Error for Calculating Columns

Hello,
I have created a table in which I need to sum the rows and columns. The script is working for each row, but it is not for each column. I've looked through this forum and found several examples that should work for me but I'm still receiving an error; accessor ... is unknown (where... is the path). I would appreciate any assistance.

as I said, the reference is wrong.
In your form, there is no row named "Row", but 4 rows named individually "Row1", "Row2" etc.
The script you use looks for all instances of a object named "Row"m this means Row[0], Row[1], Row[2] and so on..
So just rename all the 4 rows into "Row" and your script will work.

Workflow giving "Suspended" Error on Calculated Columns- Sending Reminder Emails on List Due Date

I have created a list that has our reporting due dates plus calculated columns for 5 and 10 day reminders.
Example:
Due Date: 3/7/2014 1:00 PM
5 Day Reminder (Calculated Column= [Due Date] – 5): 3/2/2014 1:00 PM
10 Day Reminder (Calculated Column= [Due Date] -10): 2/25/2014 1:00 PM
As you can see in the list, it calculates the (5 and 10 day) reminder dates correctly in the list…
However, what I am wanting to happen is to build a workflow that will automatically trigger and send these reminder emails.
In SP 2013 Designer, I have my conditions set as:
I can go in on the list and set the workflow but once the due date/time comes up… The status changes from "Started" to "Suspended"-- I never receive a reminder email and I get the following error:

Hi,
To start the workflow, we have three options:
If you select the “start the workflow automatically when an item is created” or “start the workflow automatically when an item is changed”, the workflow can be started automatically.
If you don’t, your workflow will never run, and therefore never wait till the date specified.
The “Pause Until Date” action causes a workflow to pause executing until a specified date and time.
If current day is equal to the specified date, it will execute the next step.

How to provide dynamic labels for calculated columns in HANA calc views

Calculated Columns can only generate a value from fields of the current item. And only some types of fields (for example, it can't use a lookup column).
Consider using a workflow to accomplish your goal.

Error in Calculated Column (using Today) in DataSheet View

I have a calculated column which display's the value based on the difference between today and requested date field.
=Today-[Requested Date]
This is working fine in SharePoint Standard View. But the same is not working with the datasheet view . The calculated column is showing as below
=#NAME?-[Requested Date].
Due to this i am not able to save the data. Can anyone please let me know how to solve this ?

First I have used today() function to calculate difference between 2 days except working days. The list is not automatically updating. If we change the Start_Date, then it calculates and gives the value. Can you suggrest me why this happens?

FormCalc script language for calculating PV

Greetings,
I need to calculate a Present Value (PV) in a table for rent. I can not (after many, many tries) come up with the formcalc script language that mirrors the Excel formula my boss has used in a spreadsheet.
I know the 'formula' is PV(n1, n2, n3), but that is apparently NOT what needs to be written as the script. Do I use ".rawValue" in writing this out? Do I use the ctrl+applicable cell in choosing a segment?
My first example of needing to calculate this is having a total amount for a year's rent, a discount rate of [user entered, example would be 5%], and a period of the term year minus 1 (so year 1 would be 0 or not used; year 2 would be 1, year 3 would be 2). This is what the Excel formula relates to, although it uses a negative (minus) in front of the year's rent amount.
Writing PV(yramount, discountrate, yr-1) doesn't do anything to create the answer.
Do I write ... $.rawValue = PV(yramount.rawValue, discountrate.rawValue, yr-1.rawValue) or ....
I can't figure it out (and I've tried this formula every way I can imagine and I'm getting nowhere).
I am also going to be calculating the Present Value of Total Lease Obligations each year (which is another oddity of discountrate, yr-1, negative TotalLeaseobligation).
Once I get 'row 1' calculating, the following rows will be added based on the number of term years, and the calculating will include percentage increases over the prior year along the way. I can't wait :-O
If someone could please help me crack the "actually USING in a form the formula for Present Value)", I will be so very grateful. It is decidedly beyond my sub-novice attempts.

Oh, my, thank you so much! It is truly baffling to me. I’ve attached my efforts for what it’s worth. I try to explain more below.
I was basing my ‘assumption’ on this ‘formcalc information’ – but obviously I couldn’t do anything with it as it is too cryptic for a beginner.
Here is the Excel formula used in the current spreadsheet:
= PV($B$22,B$26,,-C28
Where B22 is the Discount rate (e.g. 5%)
B26 is a number representing the year number of the prior year in the Term (e.g., the first year pulls a blank cell, the 2nd year pulls “1”, the 3rd year pulls “2”)
C28 is the Base Rent amount for the year being calculated, but shown as a negative (?) [That number is calculated as a $/square foot * number of square feet]
In my LCD form, I’m calculating in a table in which there is a header row, a footer row, currently 2 body rows, and I’m trying to get all the values to calculate based on information “provided above” in the form. The first challenge is the first row and I’ve gotten everything to ‘work’ except the “Total Base Rent(PV)” and the “Total Lease Obligation(PV)” the 3rd PV value is an arithmetic calculation between these results.
Current Row 1 formulas:

I'm sorry for being so naive with all this. We are gobsmacked (in a great way) with the possibilities of LCD-- IF I can just get the hang of this stuff.

and these are related hierarchy references (you can tell I haven't quite gotten the naming of objects down very well).
AND my NEXT challenges: I am trying to make this a ?repeating row table? And will attempt to add an 'add row' button that will allow the addition of a row reflecting the number of years in the proposed term (from 1-10, usually). So I need the amount to sum in the footer as well as the couple of sums within each row. Starting with the 2nd year, the Base Rent and Operating Expenses amounts will be a factor of the prior year's amount * the applicable Escalation % (Base Rent Escalation or Estimated Annual Expenses Escalation) -- which is why I figured I had to go on and include the 2nd row to put those formulas therein. I am ASSUMING that when I enerate subsequent rows with the "Add Row" button (crossing fingers!) that the formulas will duplicate and the correct amounts will be reflected, including the right totals -- although for a 1-year term I'll need to figure out how to 'delete row' the 2nd row so the totals aren't ka-flooey.
I am extremely grateful for your help in any way you can share. This is a lot of fun -- but I just don't speak the LCD language yet. Thus I flounder.

Java script error for Drilldown in Web Template

Hi
We are using a 3.x Web Template derived from the standard 0QUERY_TEMPLATE to run the web reports.
In this during the report execution the drilldown (or remove drilldown) for any characteristic is not working, it just shows some error in the status bar of the browser and the drilldown feature can be seen only when we refresh the browser.
However the same Web Template is working fine for the reports when transported to some other system.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem in this case? Is it related to Java stack or any other configuration for the server where the template is failing?

a. it could be an access issue with mime repository ...
also when you execute the teplate in IE - it will display a warning at the bottom and on double clicking the same you will see the javascript error.
If it is something like "Object Expected" or something like that then you can look at taking out the .js file from the target system and moving the same into your dev system....

For your calculation view you will find the corresponding column view created in schema '_SYS_BIC'-->Column Tables->
<packagename>/<Calculation view> --> Open Definition of this and check the 'create statement'.
Note: This is a information modeler generated SQL script which will show the generated Calculation Scenario and the respective Column View.

Script Error on gotoNetPage

Hi All,
This is driving me crazy. I'm using a simple gotoNetPage
script to link to users website. I've done this a million times
before without any problem but now when I create the projector I
get the "Script Error" prompt when I click on the link. I've even
cut and pasted a gotoNetPage script that worked in another Director
project and I'm still getting the script error. Is there something
I'm missing here? Script below... Help!

Thanks for the reply. It is a run-time error - the link works
fine when I'm authoring it in Director, it doesn't when I play the
projector (also correct, not a Shockwave). I do have the 3
net-support xtras included; Ineturl.x32, Netfile.x32 and
Netlingo.x32. Are those the 3 you meant? The "include in Projector"
box is also checked on the bottom. I'm really stumped. Like I said,
this function works fine in another project I'm looking at. I just
don't get why I'm getting the script error for this one.

Apple script errors. What can i do?

i've been getting repeated Apple script errors for 2 different programs. The first is for FLV2iTunes. Its a media converter. The errors is:

The other is for a program called visual hub and it says:

Are they related? What can I do? How do i identify and or fix the problem?
I've tried deleting the plist files but that hasn't fixed anything

The first is a syntax error that looks like a misplaced quote, and the stack overflow error can be caused by creating a list or saving properties that are too large. WIthout actually seeing the script(s) no one here will be able to tell.

This is a script that takes one of 16 sprites that are
positionel off stage and moves them onto the stage. In order to
select the corect sprite number I'm using a liniear list called:
'movielist'.
The weird thing is that when I test drive this script inside
director it is working great. But when I export this script to a
mac projector file, it suddenly doesn't work anymore! and the
computer gives a message: 'script error'
Can anyone help me on this one? I hope I supplied you with
sufficient info to help me solve this problem!

what do you find?
You are luckily to debug a small script. I'm unlucky to
handle a big one inherited from others, always encounter script
errors for some of the PCs, seems machine dependent, the same
OS/shockwave, some got errors, some no....and trace from the
scripts, the point of the error occurs make no sense, ie, the error
should not be there at all.
Luckily, the errors could be resolved in such a manner:
refresh from the IE windows, sometimes 1 refresh will do, sometimes
it takes 3 refreshes, and the latest shockwave takes as many as 6
refreshes.
