Scroll bar and episodes bouncing up and down in podcasts

Hi all,
I'm running Windows 7 Pro and iTunes 11.4. The scroll bar on the episodes side of the screen when in My Podcasts will not scroll down past the first visible subscribed podcasts without "bouncing" back to the top. If I can get it down to a podcast below the first visible and click on it, the episodes side of the screen starts doing the same for that podcast. It also won't let me refresh and download new episodes when this is happening. Any ideas on what is going on? Anyone have the same issue, and if you did, how did you fix it?

It sounds like your iTunes application isn't functioning correctly when you are in Podcasts. I would start by checking to see if there are any plug-ins that could be interfering with the application itself:
iTunes: Troubleshooting issues with third-party iTunes plug-ins
If that is not the case, or that does not resolve the issue I would next uninstall iTunes completely and then re install it using the following article:
Remove and Reinstall iTunes and other software components from Windows XP

The right side scroll bar on firefox no longer has an up and down arrow after my last update. I have to fix this! Please help!

After my last update with Firefox, my right-hand scroll bar no longer has up and down arrows. I really need to get them back. I'm using a Mac laptop.

So the whole button is missing. I have no idea how to fix the default theme, since it is inside omni.ja, which is not accessible from just any archive handler, and I have not found any way to open it. My problems were with third party themes, and I managed to fix those by editing parts of the themes.
Maybe you could set up scrollbars yourself by using a userChrome.css file plus images. You could get some tips by opening third party themes and looking at their scrollbars.css files.

When and How to get the Text.ScrollPos value of a String control when scroll bar position changed

Hi,
I'm working on a feature triggered by scroll bar position of a string control changed.
But I could not find a good way to catch the scroll bar position changed event,
the scroll bar is controlled manually by mouse down → mouse move → mouse up, I want the get the Text.ScrollPos value when user mouse up, and compare with the maximum value.
But the problem is, mouse up on the scroll bar could not trigger String: Mouse up event!
So I have to get the Text.ScrollPos continuously in the background in Timeout event, but I think it’s not efficient.
Do you have any better idea on when to get the correct destination value of Text.ScrollPos?
I plan to store the value of Text.ScrollPos in the bottom(maximum value) in a shift register, then compare the current Text.ScrollPos value with the max one.
If it comes close to the bottom(90%~100% of the maximum value), then the close to bottom LED will turn on.

I don't think there is any build-in event for this.
One solution would be to create your own user event at the initialisation of you main and launch a thread which is going to be pulling the value of your scrollbar position:
Then you can build your main as if they were a scrollbar move event.
And dont forget to close the thread and destroy the event at the end.

PDF Scrollbar and Browser Scroll Bar

My application open a pdf inside the browser and because the pdf has more than one page I have to scroll down or up.
My Issue is that, I have tow scroll bar one for PDF file and one for the Browser how i cancel or hide one of them.

MBP13" 10.9 Mail, and other, scroll bars vanish

This may be a remnat of usign 10.9 with no mouse and no gestures. But the scroll bar betyween the messge list and reading pane disappears. It onyl appears for a moment when you, say, hit the down or up arrows. Nearly useless.
Ditto scroll bars on many windows.
Not strue on my older MBP15 with a mouse. Gotta check out this machine with a mouse, btu since its a travel machine, that's not how i use it and so it doesnt really matter....

No, I don't. I don't use that program; I fiddled with it just now, and could not find a way to do that.

Scroll Bar problem - BI Iview

Hi,
I've created a BW iView and added it to a Page which is attached to a Role. When I execute the page on the portal , I get get a 2 vertical scroll bars one for the ivew and one for the external page. But the Horizontal scroll bar is hidden below. I have to scroll down to the bottom of the table to see the horizontal scroll bar.
I would like to have the Horizontal scroll bar visible always ... How to do this..?

You need to make sure that the iview containing the BI web app is tall enough to hold the entire app. The first thing I would try is to increase the actual and maximum height of the BW iview. Getting rid of those multiple scroll bars can be tricky.

Vertical scroll bar disappears when I minimize the screen

I have Firefox 10.0.2. I do have a vertical scroll bar with both the up and down button; however, they all disappear when I minimize the screen. When I am in Ancestry, for example, when I minimize I get a horizontal scroll bar but there is no vertical scroll bar. I have no clue what to do. I minimize screens a lot when I am in Ancestry and it gets very frustrating. Can anyone help?

Scroll bar does not slide when dragged using curser in word

I need answers to two questions.
1.   How to maximise a word document to full window size.
2.   Why the side scroll bar of a document does not slide when dragged.
3.   Am very used to the "delete", "page up and page down" keys and cant find them on keyboard.

What you can try if the above doesn't work, is deleting the scroll bar from your Data List, and then dropping it back in from the Library. The act of re-adding the scrollbar may get you the desired behavior.
If that doesn't work, you will probably need to post your project so we can take a look.

Possible defect - verticle scroll bar; Recommended enhancement

Just finished my first screenplay in story and am now editing.
Possible defect - I try to scroll down a single page by clicking on the verticle scroll bar. The script jumps several (from a few to a dozen pages) down. This is unexpected. In most typical 'windows' apps, the scroll bar lets you move up or down a page at a time when you click the space above (or below) the icon that indicates the page you are on (I don't know what that icon is called).
Recommended Enhancement - So, I've started using the PgDn button to navigate while editing/reading. I've found a minor inconvenience with this process. When I hit the PgDn button, story scrolls a full window down and I can't see the last line I read (it's now off the screen). I recommend changing this so that when you hit PgDn the last line of the current page becomes the first line of the 'new' page. That would make for a smoother transition, easier reading and editing.

I've found the scrolling with the mouse wheel either doesn't work or requires a couple of attempts to start scrolling.

Scroll Bar Width Adjustment

This is a change suggestion for future releases.
I would like to see an option to adjust the width of the scroll bars? In the library module, the scroll bars on the far left and far right are too narrow. I frequently miss the scroll bar with my mouse and the entire panel disappears.
I am currently using Lightroom 2.1 for Windows.

You guys aren't getting it. What Jeff is asking is HOW TO INCREASE
THE WIDTH OF THE SLIDER BARS.
Whether someone thinks "you really don't need to" is irrelevant. We want to center these images at higher magnifications. Just because you can put your cursor
on the image and use the scroll wheel to make it go up and down doesn't mean you can make the image go right and left at the same time. Personally, I'd like to use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out (done in preferences, yes). But if you've ever tried to place your cursor on these narrow bars before you start
moving the scroll wheel you know it's hell to hit those things very
easily because they are barely 1/4" wide.
So the question remains: How can a user increase the width
of these narrow little bars? Is there a way to do this?

N Why no scroll bar in column view?

When in column view, the finder window extends past the bottom of my screen, yet there is no scroll bar and I cannot reposition the window so I can see the bottom or even resize it since the bottom of the window is off my screen. If there is a scroll bar, it must be so far down it's off the screen too. How do I fix this?

Unstable Vista on Equium A100 - scroll bars issue

Vista is really unstable on this A100 Equium .. or am I doing something wrong?
Unlike the good old XP on my previous Satellite this operating system folds the windows up when I hit the scroll bars, simetimes minimising, sometimes closing it down... And its not getting any better.
Is it Vista or have my settings got to be changed?
I certainly haven't changed anything since I got it last month.
Can anyone advise me or do we have to wait for Bill Gates to have patches to cure it?

I dont know whats wrong with your Vista because Vista runs ok on my Satellite L30.
Of course its makes my L30 very slowly but I use both OS; XP and Vista.
I use XP for my usual work because some special programs dont run on Vista.
Anyway, it would be very interesting to know if this strange behavior happens on fresh recovered OS.
You write always it happens sometimes. So I think its very hard to replicate this issue.
I would recommend recovering the OS from Vista recovery CD.
After the installation run the Vista update. I have noticed many available patches!

Unwanted hor-scroll bars in IE

Hello all,
I have designed a web page in Dreamweaver MX using frames
(3-T,L,C) when I view it in Firefox scroll bars appear on the right
side, which is correct, but when I view it in IE scroll bars appear
on the right AND the bottom, even thow there is nothing to scroll
left or right too.
I have tried the scrolling="no", resizing the frames, etc. My
video size is 1024x768, but the HTML file is only 800 wide, which
should fit no problem in 1024.
Also, I only get the hor-scroll bar when there is a right
scroll bar. In other words, if what I have on a page is longer than
the page, a right scroll bar appears, along with a bottom one. Very
bizzare!!
Any ideas how to get rid of the bottom scroll bar in IE?

Without checking too deeping, I believe it could be because
your header is
around the 800px width. So when you resize the window to
about 800*600 you
get a scroll in the bottom area to match the width at the
top. Even though
that bottom frame may not be as wide at the top, the browser
has to take
into account all the widths of the page elements.
