Scroll Bar Thumbnails gone

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Extended.
In Pro 8 I was able to view each page as a thumbnail as I scrolled using the scroll bar button. The thumbnail would appear immediately beside the scroll button on the right of the screen.
I can't seem to get Acrobat Pro 9 to do this.
Is there a setting that has to be set to get this to work?

  • Scroll Bar arrows Gone?

    The verical scoll bar arrows are no longer there on OS X 10.7.
    Any way in System prefs or Safari prefs to get them back?

    Installed Lion today. Started testing out applications and I miss and still need the scroll bar arrows.
    I use several applications where the arrows on the scroll bar allow small movement as one line, especially important when copying several different sections of several paragraphs in Word, picking and choosing file movement in Spring Cleaning, or seeing just how far your object is off the printable field in Visio.
    I do love the touch functions of my iPhone but this will just not work on a desktop workstation.
    Does someone know if Apple will look at these comments with some interest in keeping those of us that have used Apple hardware since the Apple II happy?
    Well for now, I'm just moving back to Snow Leopard. So much for progress.

  • The close button and right side scroll bar are gone, if I minimize the screen I can see them.

    Looking at my screen, the firefox home page & all other websites I bring up, my right side of the screen (where the close X button is and scroll bar is lost behind that side of the screen.
    Looking at my screen, I cannot see the right side of my screen where the X(close button), search button, scroll bar should be.
    When I minimize the screen to a smaller version, I can see the whole page screen, X button, scroll, everything on the right side?

    PTarsa,
    Select System Preferences...>General>"Show scroll bars:" ✓ "Always"

  • My rightside scrolling bar is gone

    After the latest update, the right side scrolling bar is missing. If I try CTRL-H as suggested, it does not appear.

    It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off.
    * Use Restore or Maximize in the right-click context menu of the Taskbar icon to set focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the Firefox window.
    * Open the system menu of that Firefox window via Alt+Space and see if you can move and resize that window.
    If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

  • Multi Select Listbox - Horiz Scroll Bar available?

    I'm using the Standard - Multi Select Listbox and would like to see a horizontal scroll bar on it down at the bottom when the contents are too long to display in their entirety (and many of my items in the list start off the same with the distinguishing text at the end of the line).
    What's puzzling is that in the JSC IDE Design Tab, when I set some of the Default items to a long string, the control is shown on the Design Tab WITH a bottom, horizonal scroll bar! I was so hopeful! But when deployed the vertical scroll bar is there, but the Horiz scroll bar is gone :-(
    Has anyone gotten a horizontal scroll on a Multi Select Listbox to work in Creator??
    Suggestion to Creator Team: Please add a horizontal scroll bar OR at least allow a cursor on items in the list so that the user can manually move thru the line to see what it says.
    Thanks!

    Please help -
    These work arounds don't work for me. I'm using the latest Creator2 with all updates applied. Any chance of seeing a property for this soon?
    Work around 1:
    ===========================
    <div style="height: 72px; left: 144px; top: 192px; position: absolute; width: 288px; overflow: auto;">
    <ui:listbox binding="#{weblinkpl_page1.listbox1}" id="listbox1" items="#{SessionBean1.listOptions}"
    onChange="common_timeoutSubmitForm(this.form, 'tabSet1:weblink_tab2:layoutPanel2:listbox1');"/>
    </div>
    => Gives me listbox with no width at top left corner of page. Populating with very long file, changes the width of the box rather than creating a scroll bar.
    Work around 2:
    ======================
    <div style="overflow: auto;">
    <ui:listbox binding="#{weblinkpl_page1.listbox1}" id="listbox1" items="#{SessionBean1.listOptions}"
    onChange="common_timeoutSubmitForm(this.form, 'tabSet1:weblink_tab2:layoutPanel2:listbox1'); style="height: 72px; left: 144px; top: 192px; position: absolute; width: 288px; "/>
    </div>
    => Gives me good looking listbox but long filenames get truncated in display. No horizontal scroll bar.

  • No Scroll bars.

    I'm running the latest version go iTunes on a MacBook Pro, but the scroll bar is gone. Whenever I plug in a device, I'm stuck in place, no scrolling up or down.

    With OS X Lion, the scroll bars automatically appear based ion the input device.  Move your finger up and down on the trackpad to scroll.
    If you prefer to see scroll bars all the time, you can change the default setting in  > System Preferences > General.

  • Scroll bar stuck on Thumbnail view

    Whenever I am using the scroll bar to scroll in the thumbnail
    view ,which is set to large, the scroll bar gets stuck. When I
    place my mouse on the bar and move it up and down it does not stop
    and jumps to different places in the thumbnail view - I can't seem
    to control it. I have tried turning on the libary and clicking
    around in it, but this does not fix the problem. The only solution
    I have found is to shut Captivate 2 down and start it again. Any
    suggestions?

    Hello queenlooners,
    I spoke with some of my colleagues and unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to disable the scroll bar. There have been other discussions on the forums such as overlaying the scroll bar or embedding it in a sub-panel.

  • Scroll bar does not scroll far enough to view last page in thumbnail images

    When using Adobe Acrobat, and have the thumbnails/pages panel open on the left side, the scroll bar will not scroll far enough down to show the last row of thumbnails. For example, have a 40-page document open with the Pages Panel open showing page thumbnails in rows of 3. When the scroll bar reaches the bottom, the last row shows pages 37, 38, and 39. Where is page 40? If you look closely, you can see a sliver of the top of the thumbnail below page 37. There is no way to view the thumbnail because it is at the bottom of the list, and your scroll bar has reached its end.
    Is it confirmed that this is a bug in Adobe? If yes, is there any hotfix available for it?
    Your help will be greatful.
    Thanks

    How can I report this bug to Adobe? Is there any link where I can post this bug to Adobe or  email or contact details?
    Thanks

  • The scroll bar on the right is gone. the only way i can move the screen up or down is by using the arrow keys.  happened after i updated software is there something i missing

    The scroll bar on the right is gone  the only way I can move the screen up or down is with the arrow keys  Why how do i get it  back and have it stay there

    Yep. For all us spreadsheet geeks, this is a real sinker. Anyway, here's my workaround. Not free, unfortunately. I have a macro program called QuicKeys installed on my Mac that I've used for countless years, and  which I highly recommend for other reasons. Anyway, one of QuicKeys' many features is simulating a scroll wheel using the keyboard. I have it simulating a cell-by-cell scroll using cmd-arrow keys. The only drawback is that I have to release the cmd key each time I want to move another cell.

  • I'd like an alphabet scroll-bar for my folders in Mail. Will this be added anytime soon?

    I've been using Mail for years and find it convenient for use across all devices, off-and online. I really like that I can place a rule so that each email will automatically be delivered into individual folders. This makes it easy to organize my emails for search purposes, and to keep a clean and relevant Inbox. Sometimes, depending on my internet connection....it can sometimes cease at home and my desktop will be in sleep mode, and my emails won't be automatically ruled into their appropriate folders. This is ok, because I just manually file them. However, I have many folders. It would be an added bonus if there is an alphabet scroll-bar in the folders source list to the left of the Mail app. screen.
    It appears that so much time and energy has gone into renovating the Mail application throughout the years, and the clean design and ease of use is noticeable and appreciated. I feel they would be complemented by the scroll-bar.
    I'm just wondering if Apple has this in mind for any new updates to Mail?
    Thanks!

    Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions.
    Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • Problems with scroll bars in list view

    Hello,
    I am using Xcelsius 2008 (Build Number 12,2,166).  I am still having trouble with scroll bars on my list view control. Other list views in my dashboard seem to be ok. It seems that this list view is not ignoring the blank cells in my excel file. I have gone through many things to correct this problem. I have added a new list view, I have copied other list views that work correctly but still no success. It seems that the "Ignore Blank Cells" property is not working correctly. Does anyone have a solution for this?
    Much Thx!

    Hi Yusufel,
    Please check the data whether the cells are really blank or having any space which could not be seen, etc.
    With best wishes
    BaaRaa.
