Scroll list down by page wise using mouse

hi experts,
how can we scroll a list page wise rather than line wise using scroll button of mouse .
my requirement is to generate a list consisting of 38 lines per page and each set of 38 lines
should come in a new page that i have done using new-page, but problem is when i scroll
down a list using mouse scroll button next page should be displayed rather than scrolling
line by line . just like using pagedown key of the keyboard,

I think this is not possible, I don't think controlling the mouse operation is possible

My phone spazzes and randomly does stuff on its own like typing a bunch of random letters, or scrolling up/down a page, or going out of an app. What can be done about that?

I have a 5S and I've had it since december. ever since i got it I've had trouble whit it. It spaces out at random times, types stuff on its own, goes out of applications, scrolls up/down a page etc. This happens almost daily and the only thing I can do about it is lock my phone, go back in, quit all my apps... Along with that now my touch ID has not been working. Although it has started today, I am worried.

Step down(to save record) using mouse not same as step down using keyboard?

I noticed something very funny in our Siebel application, I have written a script on the WriteRecord event of a BC. Apparently the record is written to the DB only when the 'Ctrl + S' or 'Ctrl + Up/Down Arrow key' is used for a step down. When I do a step down suing the mouse (by clicking on the next record) the record does not get saved.
We are using Siebel Sales 7.7. Has anyone else come accross this issue. What I am more interested to know is that if this is a product defect or a mistake in my script. And after using the WriteRecord() in the WriteRecord() event code the record gets correctly saved

While browsing in 2 or more tabs, scrolling down the page with the mouse wheel causes Firefox to unexpectedly open the tab in a new window, closing the tab in the process and losing any data on it (such as a half written email etc.).

I have McAfee security which checks the computer every week and removes virus and malware so I'm pretty confident there's no problem with that.
I'm sometimes so plagued by this problem that I have to switch to other browsers (I have Chrome, Safari and IE installed) and have not experienced any similar problem with those.
The problem does not seem to be in conjunction with any plugins. Although I have plugins installed the problem happens when none of the plugins is noticeably in use.

How can I scroll halfway down a page in safari immediately?

So-- Lion introduced this whole "there are no scroll bars" concept-- which I am trying to embrace, but I just found myself getting frustrated about it so I wanted to ask if there are any user tips to make it less annoying...

And I knew I wanted to go somewhere near the bottom of the document-- but there is no way to click on a scroll bar to get there... And I am on a trackpad, and I found that if I drag-scroll on the trackpad, a scroll bar does appear, but I only have a very short time window to click on it and drag it down. Several times I attempted to click on it, but it faded away before I could actually get it.
I thought to myself: This is really annoying... And stupid! But-- There must be a way to make this more functional, so I thought I'd ask here.

You've picked and interesting example.
Scrolling on that page does not behave as it should. The scroll bar should remain visible as long as your mouse is moving, it shoull also enlarge as you mouse over it so you can grab it more easily.
Compare it to this site or just about anyother website.

you mean to hide the PeopleTools menu? If so, mke sure (s)he does not have the permision list that grants the pemission you don't want him/her to have.

Reading heavy excel files page wise using OpenXML

I am using OpenXML to read heavy excel files, but I am using paging to read files because I have to process data and show in Grid on frontend.
Problem here is for reading every page of 10000 records its time is increasing.
First Page = 38397 Milliseconds
Second Page = 81910 MS
Third page =117923 MS
Fourth page =150142 MS
Any body has any clue...

Are you sure the extra time is used to read the data from Excel files or
show the data in Grid? If not, I suggest you checking that.
If the issue is related to reading data from Excel files by Open XML SDK, would you mind sharing some sample code for us to know how you read the files and troubleshoot?

Not able to scroll up/down on pages with touchpad in Firefox 8.0.1

Use a laptop with Win XP pro and not able to use scrollfunction in Firefox 8.0.1.
On another laptop with Win XP pro and Firefox 3.6.xxx ,scrollfunction works ok.

I did more research and Command "C" does not function ONLY WHEN TRYING TO USE IT IN HOTMAIL. I have other sites open in Firefox and I am able to Command "C" and Command "V" from them just fine.
Problem is not in Firefox it is in Hotmail, specifically the latest update which allows you to "flag" emails to keep them at the top of your inbox. Sorry for all the fuss.

One very easy way is:
Run a program RSRQ_QUERYDEFINITION, give a query name, check all the checkboxes and run
The program details the the query object. Transaction - RSRTQ
I am sure you will like this way
There is another way....
Tables RSZELTXREF and RSZELTDIR.
Take an excel.
Go to RSZELTXREF. In SETUID give query technical definition name like (ASFWDSVD.....).
Run.
You will get a lits of TELTUIDs.(ie a lis of records)
Copy all TELTUID' in column in excel.
Now copy these TELTUIDs as multiple values in RSZELTXREF in SETUID
Again copy all TELTUIDs and append it to the existing records in Excel.
Keep doing this until you get no records in RSZELTXREF.
Now your TELTUID column is ready.
Take all these values to RSZELTDIR and coopy them to ELTUID as multiple values.
In the default hint, it will show you your characteristics and key figures
After you get the answer, please close the question, marking it solved and rewarding appropriate points. There are star icons to do this. This will help others to find right anwers and appreciate community members for their help

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

I think this new scrolling behaviour was introduced with Lion. You do get used to it pretty quickly (well I did). Are you sure that deselecting Natural Scrolling in Mouse Prefs doesn't re-instate the previous behaviour, it does here.

Since installing the latest version I cannot scroll down my pages using the button on the pad on my laptop

I had the old version of Firefox and was invited to install this version when it had finished i went back on line only to find the button on the laptop mouse pad no longer scrolls down the page. I now have to drag it down with the bar at the side.

Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

Ever since installing firefox 4, i can no longer use my finger type joystick on my keyboard for automatic scrolling up and down a page. Any suggestions?

I have three buttons below my space bar which function, basically like the left-click, right- click buttons on a mouse but the middle button, when held down, should allow me to move the joystick up or down to continuously scroll up or down a page. Now, it doesn't work. This is a function I really like. If I cannot resolve this, how do I remove Firefox 4 and go back to my previous edition of Firefox?

Thanks for the suggestion - i checked and scrolling is activated. Which fits with the fact that it works in every other application apart from firefox. Any otehr ideas?
