Scroll motion on image fill resets itself...

When I set the scroll motion for a rectangle with an image fill, it resets the vertical final motion to 1 after I set it to 0.

Hi penserv,
Please check if it is with one file or with all the files.
If the issue is occurring on all the files, then please contact support as we are not able to recreate this issue on our end :

  • Background fill scale to fit scroll motion issue. Please help...

I am having an issue with the background fill. I am using an image at least 2500px wide. It seems that when I have scrolling checked, the image scales to fit the browser normally when I preview the page. However, if I turn scrolling off, when previewing the page, the background image shrinks from 30-50% and no longer scales to fit. As soon as I go back, check scrolling again, it then scales to fit as normal.  This also happens if I have scrolling checked and then set initial and final motion to 0. It again shrinks the background image and stops scaling to fit. As soon as I put any value in the initial and final motion, it again shrinks the image.
When doing the above same thing on a master page, using the same image, even with scrolling checked, the image doesn't scale to fit.
This brings me to a second issue. The custom scrolling on the background isn't working. No matter what I set the values to, the browser always scrolls the back ground image up, even if I change the rate or direction, it stays at 1 and in the up motion.
    How can I fix this??
    Thank you!

This is due to the fact of image size and scroll setup with fill, Please check this post which includes a similar discussion :

  • The scroll motion where I set the fill is only scrolling down

The scroll motion where I set the fill is only scrolling down, even when I set it to go up. Has anyone else expereinced this? Can you help me correct this?

    Hi Crystal,
Could you please explain in details what you have done so that I can test it out at my end? Is there a live page where I can check the issue? Can you create a trial site on BC and then show it to me so that I can investigate the issue further? Thanks.

  • 60G iPod 'Resets' itself sporadically... What's Up with that?

I have a 60G iPod that has about 2800 songs loaded (+ about a dozen jpg images). Loaded from a WIN2K based PC using iTunes 6.0.4.2 and the latest iPod Update software.
When playing, the unit will sporadically 'Reset' itself (Run through shutdown/startup while displaying the Apple Logo) with no button pushes or any other contact. It's to the point now where it is never a matter of "IF" it will do it, simply a matter of "WHEN" or "HOW SOON" it will occur... very, very frustrating!!! Sometimes I can run about 30-45 minutes before it happens, sometimes it happens on the second or third song (5 or 10 minutes).
I have Reset the iPod, Upgraded the iPod to the latest OS, Reinstalled OS and consistently upgraded to the newest iTunes version, and Restored the iPod to factory level Zero and then reloaded all 2700+ songs and 13 photos... no changes... still dumps whenever it decides to.
Oh yeah... it sits in a BOSE dock, charging every night so the power should be adequate.
Any ideas or insights from ANYONE? Thanks in Advance for your reply/response!!!
I'm getting exceedingly frustrated, especially when I see my wife's 30G operate absolutely fine. Don't know if song count makes any difference but she doesn't has barely begun to load any real quantity of material yet...
    iPod v5 60G   Windows 2000

Here is my 'tech/test report' for the day:
I plugged in the iPod to my work computer, same as yesterday. No songs in library, etc, etc.
Using the iPod as the song file source, and playing the songs using iTunes as the controlling interface, this thing played all day, hour after hour, with no resets, no issues of any type.
After ejecting the iPod and playing it on the way home, I was able to get approximately one (1) hour of play time before the iPod went into the 'AUTO-RESET' mode, by rebooting itself with no contact.
I believe we state with a high level of assurance the issue is neither MECHANICAL (i.e. a bad or tempermental hard-drive) or due to bad files. The iPod did what it was supposed to do for hours when using an external (i.e. Workstation) user interface (iTunes). Although possible, I still doubt the RESET issue stems from a battery/power triggered event.
I tend to believe the issue lies somewhere within the UI or OS on the unit itself. Perhaps some memory cache that fails to clear and eventually fills and forces a reset?
    Still searching for THE solution...
Ps: I WILL NOT BE UPGRADING TO 1.1.1 ... those issues look REALLY UGLY!!! Atleast I still get to listen to SOME songs before it bites the dust!

  • FAQ: How can I create a scrolling gallery of images?

You can use Flash Catalyst to create galleries, for example a scrolling list of thumbnails that display larger images when clicked. Here are some tutorials that explain how:
Create a photo gallery (using list interactions), on the FlashCats blog
Create a data list component -- Don't let the title scare you, a "data list" is a really powerful component to get to know better; it enables creation of very creative visual things like galleries. When you need repeating items, consider using a data list.

    Hi there,
You can create a scroll motion where the image will fade out on scrolling, you need to use the Opacity tab under Scroll Effects Panel.
If you particularly need the image to be blur out, then you need to edit that image in any image editing program and make one copy of that image as blurred, then place both images (actual and blurred) on that page and use scroll motion or fade option to replace images.

  • Using parallax scrolling on a browser fill shape?

    Hi everyone,
Is it possible to apply parallax scrolling onto a shape that is extended to horizontally fill up the browser? I'm creating a single page scroll website and a want a shape to cover up a certain fraction of the bottom of the browser (I can't use pin because then the shape will move with the bottom of the browser depending on the size of the window.) Parallax works fine on the shape until I extend it to the browser borders and then parallax grays out. Will this be supported in a future update? Is there another way for me to achieve this effect? Thanks!
    Jackie

From Muse Release Notes - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/release-note/adobe-muse-release-notes.html.
Note Scroll Motion Effects are not available for 100% browser width objects, pinned objects, items that are inline within text, items within a group or items within a widget.
You would also find a similar note in the information tooltip for Scroll Motion under the Effects panel in the Control strip. Please feel free to submit it as a feature request in our Ideas section.

Hi doftin, and welcome to Apple Discussions.
I don't understand what you mean by
It startsto reset itself while i amorking on applications like word excel photoshop.
    Please explain what actually happens.
Do you have upwards of 15% free space on your HD? If not, this could be causing issues.
Have you run Repair Disk? Boot from install disc (insert disc>restart>immediately hold down c key and keep holding it until you see “Preparing Installation”)>at first screen go to Installer Menu>open Disk Utility>select your HD in the panel on the left side>click Repair Disk at bottom of main window. Run this at least twice, and keep running it until it says “appears ok” twice in a row. If that doesn’t happen, you may need a stronger utility such as DiskWarrior or if the directory is damaged beyond repair, you may need to reinstall the OS, or you may have a damaged HD (repair utilities can only repair the directory structure, not the HD itself).

  • Full browser window placeholder that acts like background image fill?

I want to be able to set full browser window placeholder that acts like the background image fill function, but be able to then build in a multi-anchored horizontal parallax.  The effect is like we have a background image fill, but can slide horizontally between pages as if they are in a slide show.  Simultaneously, content inside the placeholder such as longer paragraphs of text can scroll down - on top of the image layer, but inside the borders of the image placeholder.  For a clear example of this, see this website: http://argonautinc.com/
I've read and searched but to no avail.  I'm only about one week into Muse, so please forgive me if this is  super simple!   Thanks, Nico

    Hi Nico_Cineaste,
You can achieve the design by using Fullscreen Slideshow in MUSE as object.
Open any page in MUSE , click on the "Object" >> Slideshow >> Fullscreen.
Click on your blank web page.
This will give you a full screen slideshow.
You can now design as per your requirement.
    Thanks

  • Scroll Motion not able to initiate

I need to make sticky menu on the top of the page but I am not able to initiate Scroll Motion dialog box. It is grayed on. I have basic menu with no bells and whistles. No 100% width. I am flabbergasted! Could anyone help me? Thanks a lot Daniela

    Hi Daniela,
You are welcome, we cannot apply scroll effects to a fill that is only filled with a solid or gradient color.

  • Rollover for element with Scroll Motion?

Hey There, I'm having a problem where I can't apply a rollover function to a jpeg that already has parallax scrolling applied to it. The scroll motion is working just fine. But when add an effect, like a shadow, to the jpeg under the rollover state, the next time I preview or upload the html to my server the jpeg is gone altogether. I've tried a number of options but am racking my brain for a way to have both a rollover function and parallax scrolling on the same element.
    Thanks for any advice.

Hi Justin, I realized that I could use the tooltip widget to utilize the rollover function with that and then put scroll motion on the widget itself and it seems to work just fine.

  • BT Broadband Hub Resetting Itself Multiple Times p...

    Hi there,
My broadband hub is driving me mad today - it's constantly resetting itself. I work from home (it is not a business line, just a standard residential) and it's really not ideal given that I rely on being able to connect online to do my job.
I tried resetting it myself earlier today just to see if that would stabilise things, but no joy.
I have the black home hub, version 2.0
My gut feeling is that it's ultimately a problem with our phone line (I have an engineer booked to come out for the 4th time this weekend), BUT, usually the broadband is stable unless someone rings the home phone or the weather is particularly atrocious. Today is a clear day, so I'm unsure why the hub would be so unreliable.
    Any ideas would be appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Vanessa

If you post the full stats from your router
For homehub – type 192.168.1.254 into your browser
Navigate to ADSL Settings or use the A-Z at the top right of the home page and scroll down to ADSL Settings and click on it
Click on More Details and then post the full results.
And post the full results from http://speedtester.bt.com/
then someone may be able to help and offer more advice.
You could also try a quite line test - 17070 option 2 - best done with a wired phone and you should hear nothing. When you do the quite line test use the test socket if you have one. This eliminates your wiring as being part of the problem.

My new ipod video works fine playing mp3's or music from itunes store, but resets itself any time i try to listen to a song from a cd. these songs all have the .m4a file extension. what can i do to fix this?

  • Under what conditions does a STB reset itself?

    Just curious.
My 6416 seems to do it when I am in VOB or when I'm trying to get it to process too many things at once.
    Any of you techies know?

the primary reason the box will reset itself, is that it's getting too hot.  there is a temp gauge, and if it reaches a threshold it will reset itself to try to cool itself off.     Other than that, it would be a glitch in the firmware or software, because there aren't any real known reasons that it should reset based on a FF or a Cache being full.   There is a neat write up here that gives you boot error codes, so these will give you an idea of what "technically" would cause different things
    http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/How_to_use_a_Motorola_DVR/Boot_Error_Codes
for actual resets though the primary thing is heat.   you can check the temp by going to the diagnostic menu.
that is accessed by using the front panel, and not the remote.
with the box powered on, you hit (with 1 sec intervals) power once, select once, and select a 2nd time
that will pull up a diagnostic menu, and then you choose
    d13 PVR/HDD STATUS
and then it's on page 2 so you have to scroll down to see it

  • Dock Display resets itself; Overheating; Loosing Bookmarks w/ Firefox

    Hello,
I need help and was wondering if anybody might have an idea of what is going on with my iBook which is 2 years old. Up until a week ago I had no problems whatsoever with the laptop and all of a sudden things seem very strange...
    1) I am loosing battery power very quickly. The charge holds, if I am not using the internet, about 1 hour.
    2) I lost all my bookmarks in firefox for no reason. I started saving bookmarks again but the next day, they were gone again.
    3) The Dock is resetting itself to the original view every time I start up the laptop. I save icons in the dock but they disappear the next time I turn the laptop on. What I find interesting though is that the wallpaper stays the same. Do the dock settings and the wallpaper have different memory?
    4) The laptop is overheating and the fan is blowing almost constantly even though I am using the laptop on a table (hard surface; yes, I read the posts).
I spoke to Tech Support and they had me take out the battery and press the "power on" button for 6 seconds (sorry, I forgot the term that they used for this process). It seemed to help while the Tech was on the phone but the next day, I had the same problem.
Can it be that I need a new battery or does anybody think there might be more wrong with it?
Thank you to all who respond.

Glad the genius bar was able to help you!
Would agree with the erase and install once you get your important data backed up. It will get rid of any corrupted software and cobwebs and make your machine seem like new again. This would be a good opportunity to gain a little hard drive space by doing a custom install and opting to not install all the languages and printer drivers you will never use.
It would not surprise me if your overheating problem might get better or even go away after an erase and install. I don't know which model iBook you have, and I understand that some of them do run hot, but it has been my experience that my iBook usually runs cool and the fan very seldom comes on.
When I mentioned Activity Monitor, I was wondering if you might have had a runaway application going on in the background. One time I was just doing email and the computer got hot and the fan came on--and the CPU showed 85% use, which was way more than my usual few percent. In view of your battery problems and overheating, I wondered if you might have had the same sort of thing going on. Here is the article about this:
Runaway applications can shorten battery runtime:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304882
Most people don't need File Vault. If you do have a few sensitive documents on your laptop that you want to be secured in case it ever gets stolen, you can use an encrypted disk image instead. Just go to Disk Utility and click on "New Image". It will create a file that you can protect with a good password. For most users, File Vault is more trouble than it's worth.
I think once you do the erase and install, everything will be working as it should again.
Good luck, and thanks for the star!
