Scroll to top of a page

Hi,
When pressng the Page Up or Page Down keys, I don't go exactly to the top of the previous or next page. This means that I often end up looking at half the top and half the bottom page.
Is there a command to go exactly to the beginning of the next/previous page?

The organization of the Keyboard Shortcut Editor can be a bit .. unorganized.
Click the button "Show Set" and you'll get a text file with *all* possible re-mappable shortcuts, and, if any, the assigned keys. The text file should automatically open in your system Text editor, so you can use its search function.
(A quick check shows "Previous/Next Page" and "Previous/Next Spread" can be found in the Layout Menu, while "Scroll page/view" is in the View & Navigation section. Oh well.)

Sub form display from top of the page

Hi Experts
I have some page display issue with my form. I have 2 main forms and 5 sub forms. The form structure is I have called the subforms from the main form using button option, while I click the button to view the sub form I am veiwing it perfectly, but while loading the subforms the previous navigation scroll bar is not changing the newpage is not going to top of the page. This takes me the sub form half of the view I have to manually scroll to top of the page.
I have tried with zoom options but only fit height option works and it looks too small is there any other way to show subforms from top of the page?

Hi Arul,
Maybe this helps you. It is kinda clumsy but might work for you.
Sounds like you are ending up on the right page but in the wrong spot on that page. Yah?
So at the end of your button code (which already works) just put in:
xfa.host.pageDown();
xfa.host.pageUp();
So, in effect, you are going off page and then immediately coming back. It happens very quickly, so the user won't notice it.
It has the result of bringing you to the TOP of the page.

Extremely slow in every way. Typing, loading, moving and even just scrolling from the top of the page to the bottom. Keeps getting worse. Maddingly frustrating!!! Help!!

Firefox has gotten extremely slow. Typing, loading, searching, even just scrolling from the top of a page to the bottom. My daughter had the same thing happen to her and had to get her computer stripped down and completely reloaded. I don't have that option. It has no viruses and has been completely freed of all things that could slow it down.

Hmm... try downloading the [http://www.firefox.com latest] version... but if that doesn't work then try [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode]. Not sure what could be causing it...

Scroll to top of page?

Is their a way to make a button automatically scroll to the top of the page other than using anchors. I currently have a button setup on a master page that should scroll the browser back to the top of the page and have this applied to over 50 product pages. My issue however is that when you click on the button to scroll to the top it takes you to my template master page where the anchor is vs the top of the current product page. Any help with this would be appreciated, I would really like to not have to create a anchor and relink the button for each product page due to the quantity and the fact that we will be continuing to impliment more products in the near future.

ITunes Store window automatically scrolls back to the top of the page

Hey gang -
I have a problem that is really quite funny except for the fact that I am so frustrated I could cry.
Computer/software: MacBook OSX 10.4.11 with iTunes 7.6
This just started on my Macbook: I open the iTunes store and when I try to navigate down the page, the second I "let go" of my scroll the window immediately scrolls back to the top of the page. This seems to be happening on all pages in the iTunes store. No other program seems to be affected, neither is my library within iTunes - just the store. This happens when I use the trackpad, the scroll bars and my bluetooth mouse.
I can't get any iTunes content beyond the height of my Macbook window! It is maddening!
I have closed and opened iTunes several times and rebooted twice. Any other ideas?

I had the same problem and im using iTunes 7.6.1 (9)
The problem seems to be related to what kind of firewall your behind.
The network I'm on at the moment is very strict and will not allow anything else than www basicly. So I connected to a different network via VPN and use it as my default gateway. iTunes stops scrolling back after I connect to this network (a restart of iTunes might be needed). And I think this is the only place that iTunes has acted up. Think it works fine at my home lan.

How to make a menu at the top of the page move to the left when scrolling?

I have a menu on the top of the page on a sidebar-sort. I was wondering how you could make it move to the left, not until the scrollbar reaches the end of the page, but when I say so. If i put the key position under the menu, it disappears. If i put it at the top of the page, my only choice is to use the Final motion, but that one moves until the scrollbar ends. So how can I do it?

You need to set the initial motion to zero and specify the key position to the scroll point, where you would like to begin the scrolling from.

Every time I edit an album, iTunes scrolls to the top of the page when finished. Is there any way to stop iTunes from scrolling to top whenever I'm done editing?

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

How to scroll to the top of the page?

How do I scroll to the top of a page in the browser? On very long pages, the address bar can not be easily reached. I have to scroll up until I get to the top to access the address bar and tabs.

I fear that this is the expected behaviour in FFOS 2.0 browser. It is really annoying, of course, and hopefully it will be addressed and corrected in the following releases.

Why is pages scrolling to the top of the page every time I type something?

Every time I type something, or hit any key for that matter, my document scrolls to the top of whichever page I'm working on and I am unable to see what I am typing. It just started doing this last night, so I feel that I must have clicked something. Any suggestions?

You're not current with the OS version and you didn't say which release of Pages you have. Version 4.0.5 is the latest. See Pages, About Pages.
I'd suggest, in this order:
Close your apps.
Download and Install the 10.6.7 Combo Update
Run Software Update and accept all the revisions for 10.6.7 and Pages
Try again with Pages.
If still having trouble, try in another, new, User Account.

Muse won't let you, at least not that I know of. You could find the class in the code that muse gives it position: fixed…I think. You could paste it into the head area of your page properties to override the class. I believe something like this would give you persistent nav bar, pinned at the very top, on mobile:
#youmuseclass {position: fixed;}
I wouldn't use any parallax on mobile either, the performance is terrible.

When I scroll to the top of a webpage Firefox will not stop there. I goes past the top of the webpage and shows a white square to the left and a grey bar to the left, then it bounces back down to the top of the page. I want Firefox to just go to the top of the page and stop the way it used to do.

That change was made in Firefox 4, 6 months ago.
Click-hold the unified Back / Forward button <br />

right-click it to get the Back / Forward history for that tab.

Am running Firefox 8.0.1 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8. The URL bar at the top of the page has disappeared and is inaceesible along with the arrows for navigating backwatd and forward. Please help.

Unable to scroll to top of page, as scroll tools are not active upon opening Firefox or a new browser window since this problem occurred. Home/startup page is set to Google Advanced Search. Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
