Scrollable Text Box - Label items on layers

Muse needs a Scrollable Text Box - which could be a tutorial for a Session from Danni - create a MuCow from scratch!
Also there is a desperate need to be able to label the widgets being named - having several "rectangle" is just annoying and is difficult to monitor.

Scrollable Text Box

I've created a fixed/pinned box on my site.. I'd like to create a scrollable text box inside that box.. where the user can scroll within that box and not have to scroll down the entire browser. Is this possible? If not, is there a html way to achieve this? I have no coding experience... If this is possible using coding, can one of you developers please give me the instructions on how to achieve this? Thank you very much in advance!
I forgot to add that I'd like to use a custom icon to scroll down the text box.

Thanks for the reply. Attached is a screen grab of the sort of theing I'm trying to do. The text bottom right is a scrollabel frame, and the background image is a slide show. When I preview it on the ipad, the background slideshow works, green coloured background to the text box and the graphics dissapper, but the scrollable text stays.

Access 2010 - If Then Else Statement to display text within text box upon Check Box True/False condition

I have a form called myForm. On this form is a check box called myCheckBox. I also have a text box labeled myTextBox. I have assigned a macro, myMacro, to run upon selection/click of myCheckBox. The macro is an If statement which determines if myCheckBox
is checked or not checked and spits out a value, "Yes" or "No" for example, into the text box.
I am not able to get text to display into the text box although I am not receiving any errors when I run the macro. This may be a fault in my logic and would like help resolving where the problem lies. I am fairly new to Access so this could be something
simple.
My code is as follows:
If Forms!myForm = True Then
Forms!myForm!myTextBox.Value = "Yes!"
ElseIf Forms!myForm = False Then

Keyword Meta Tag Text Box

I use Dreamweaver 8 and read there is a "text box" similar to
the one for description on the toolbar for adding keywords.
This was in the help section of Dreamweaver 8 as follows:
Setting Keywords properties
Many search-engine robots (programs that automatically browse
the web gathering information for search engines to index) read the
contents of the Keywords meta tag and use the information to index
your pages in their databases. Because some search engines limit
the number of keywords or characters they index, or ignore all
keywords if you go beyond the limit, it’s a good idea to use
just a few well-chosen keywords.
Enter your keywords, separated by commas, in the text box
labeled Keywords.
Where on the tool bar is this located or how do you get it on
the toolbar? I have searched but must be missing something.

That information is flawed. The major search engines (with
the possible
exception of Yahoo) do not use keywords at all.
Try INSERT | HTML > Head Tags > Meta Keywords.

Scrollable text out of control...

When I post the .swf file to the net inside a dynamic
scrollable text box I created the font (Myriad Pro) defaults to a
sarif font on PC's, and on my Mac Safari is is not anti aliased.
Just one more thing...I justified the text inside the box and when
it gets published it never justifies.

Why do I have boxes round items on my iMac screen?

Just yesterday I found there are boxes (like the borders of text boxes) round items on my screen. If I'm offline I get a box round a desktop item; if I'm online I get a box round a section of a web page - so the Search box in Google will have a black-lined box added to it and when I search the box will go round something else on the page? There's actually a box round the pane where I'm typing this now.
Anyone any ideas? A different, or perhaps connected problem is that many of the items in drop down menus are now duplicated, so in Safari, on File I get 'Close Window' 'Close Window' - but not every menu item is duplicated

How to Create application express items like text box dynamically

I have a requirement in that i have to create a template like the one in Application express for creating the region and items.
The main requirement is to reduce the amount of time spend in creating the items on htmldb page..
So we are planning of creating a template where the developer at one shot will be able to define all the items used in the the page..So this reduce the amount of time taken in creating and defining each and every item .
Developer use this template which conisist of some 100 text box which act as label for the item which we want to create on the page and there will be check box which show all the item available in htmldb like textbox, check box, select list etc. So developer will check the item he/she want to create and and set properties of it .So this is the single process for creating all the template on the page.
Ones the template is submitted it will create the items on the page ...in a single click..

I wanted to do similar thing as well. I wanted to add a text field when user clicks a link or button. I was thinking about java script, but not sure how to add the text field items from outside the wizrdy things in APEX!! Possibly using the htmldb_item api, but have not worked out how yet.

Actually, I think the question is a little more complex than at it at first reads.
As Viking points out, there's no correlation between the text object "abc" and a variable named abc. Both can peacefully coexist in the same script.
However, I suspect that what you're asking for is the ability to create ad-hoc, on-the-fly variables using some unknown/variable input as the AS variable name. That's not possible (at least not without an insane amount of work, heartache, and blood pressure pills).
Depending on your use case it may be easier to create records with your data, using the (unknown) data as the label along with some stored value:
set myVariables to {}
repeat 3 times
set varName to text returned of (display dialog "Enter a variable name:" default answer "")
set varVal to text returned of (display dialog "Enter value for " & varName default answer "")
copy {label:varName, val:varVal} to end of myVariables
end repeat
return myVariables
but there's no easy way to create a variable in your script based on the user input.

How to pop-up a text box for a grid item on a user defined table?

I have a user defined table with a grid & one of the columns is for comments. What I'm trying to do is to pop up a text box when double clicking in the column field. This would be the same as the Item Details column in the Sales Order ittems grid.

I have a Item UIDRef but facing a problem for getting data as set in "text on path option" dailog box for each "text on path" item.
What I did:
- Getting the pointer "IMainItemTOPData" using item UIDRef as
InterfacePtr<IMainItemTOPData> mainItemTOPData(shapesUIDRef, UseDefaultIID());
- This interface has the method GetTOPOptionData () which return ITOPOptionsData pointer
- But SDK don't have "ITOPOptionsData" class implementation.
Second Approch:
- Used "ITextOnPathSelectionSuite" and getting the correct result for Desktop plugin.But I want the correct result in server plugin also.
Anyone who has an idea how to get this using UIDRef, please let me know.

How do you change a "row Label" in form central into an interactive text box? I need to leave some of the row labels plank so that people using the form can add some of their on labels. Can this be done and if so how?

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Respondents (fillers of the form) cannot edit the label of a field.
