Can anyone tell me ?.
how can i create scrollbar in group container ?.
Example:
i have one container thumbnailGroup is my Group.
i need scrollbar to scroll the thumbnails.
tell me any other alternatives also. anyway i need scrollbar and container.

Group messaging not working with groups that contain non iphone users
I have an Iphone 5 and for some reason I can't send/receive group messages with groups that contain non Iphone users. Basically I recieve single text messages/imessage from each person who responds to the group message. This is incredibly annoying.

Can't drag and drop in nested Group Container
I want to drag a component in a Group container which is nested in another Group container, but I found I can't do that. If I remove the parent group, drag operation is ok. And if I replace both Group container to BorderContainer, drag behaviour is normal, too. I'm confused with that problem. I use Group container because I wanna use Scroller to implement scrollbar function. My flex sdk version is 4.1. Are there any solutions? Thanks

Grand total (Report footer) issue in a Report with Group selection.

The case is simple, i have to summrise the NetValue field of a report at the Group level and at the Report level(Grand Total).
I also use a Group selection filter (I have grouped my records by MaterialDesc) to keep the desired groups.
As you already guessed, my group totals are fine but the grand totals(report footer) contain both filtered and non filtered group records. Is there any way to avoid this problem and get a Grand Total from the filtered group records?

In Running Total evaluate click theformual button and eneter reverse condition to your group suppression.
If you can not do that then you must use a Var
In group footer where total is currently correct place a formula like this and suppress it

Dynamic Group containing maintenance mode devices
Hi,
I am using a scheduled script to put a large number of items in maintenance mode for periods of time where we do not which to receive alerts or cause DA state changes. For these objects, the time is overnight or weekends.
The script adds all objects in a dynamic group into maintenance mode. This includes both windows and network devices.
My issue is that when an engineer manually puts an item into maintenance mode for genuine maintenance purposes, it may be overridden.
So my idea is to have another dynamic group containing all objects in maintenance mode, and make it an exclusion in the original group. Is this possible or is there a better way?

We can use below command to get all members in a group:

And with below command we could get all members that in maintenance mode:
$Members | where{$_.inmaintenancemode -eq $true}
With set-SCOMMaintenanceMode command we can update active maintenance mode entries.

I have a report which have year(2008), Category(0-1,2-3, ALL), product(0,1,2,3,4..), % sales. I group by all the category elements and called it as All, I am not getting the right percentage sales for the Category ALL other wise for 0-1,2-3 i am getting it right. Custom IKM Knowledge Modules are not working with Group By Clause
Hi All,
I am facing an issue with custom IKM knowledge modules. Those are IKM Sql Incremental Update and IKM Sql Control Append.
My Scenario is
1. Created an interface with table on source and temporary datastore with some columns in target.
2. In the Interface on the target i defined one column as UD1 and other column as UD2 for which group by to be implemented .
3. Customized IKM Sql Incremental Update with " Group by " by making modification in my IKM Sql Incremental Update
detail step "Insert flow into I$ table" i.e., i replaced like this whereever i find this <%=odiRef.getGrpBy()%> API

Up to UD5.
. Here in the place of [EXPRESSION] i passed column names for UD1 similarly other column name for [EXPRESSION] of UD2.
4.Made all the proper mappings and also selected the KM's needed for that interface like CKM Sql ,IKM Sql Incremental Update.
5. Executed the Interface with global context.
Error i am getting in this case is :

If your are transfering data from Oracle to Oracle (I means source is oracle Db and target is also oracle DB) then use below KM's and group by will come automatically based on the key values you selected on interface target datastore
1) CKM Oracle
2) LKM Oracle to Oracle (DBLINK)
3) IKM Oracle Incremental Update (MERGE)

I am a beginner so please don't throw rocks at me...
I have created two frames with NetBeans. One is the main frame (extends from JPanel) and the other frame I put it to be started when pressing a button from the main frame (the second frame extends from JFrame). Both frames are created using the designer in NetBeans, so the code for creating the GUI is automatically generated by NetBeans, so both frames use the same layout (GroupLayout).
Here is the code of the button from the main frame to start the second one:

How should I handle this?
What I want to do: I want to have a main frame, from which I can start additional ones (the main frame must be always opened, while the additional ones can be closed after performing certain actions). I read a little about internal frames and I think this can be a solution, but I must edit the existing design...

Cannot login with password containing non-ascii characters
Hello,
I have web application, form based login. UTF-8 is specified "everywhere".
And it works, except for passwords.
If user register itself with password containing non-ascii characters, it is correctly written in database, but when doing either programmatic login or normal form based login, if fails.
If the password is only ascii, it works.
Username of login could be ascii or non-ascii, it doesn't matter, both works.
I'm using sun java application server 9.1.
jdbc realm.
I'm not using hashing passwords, just clean (now)
I tried configure realm Charset: UTF8 as last chance, but it doesn't work either.
The problem is only with non-ascii characters in password.

I know all that, but that's not the case. My app uses preparedStatements, everything is properly configured, in all pages, utf-8 is going from user to db and back without any problems.
The only problem is with password field. As I am using form based login, with jdbc realm configured (again, nicely working when only ascii characters), I have very little chance to do something bad through the login phase.
I'm not talking about special characters, I'm talking about non-ascii characters, let's say - Chinese, arabish, Russian alphabet etc.
When user registers (my code), the fields are properly written to db. I have checked that, trust me.
But the Sun app server realm seems to have some problems with the password field.
(realm uses jdbc connection to mysql, the url contains all extra parameters to be sure about utf8. there is nothing more what can be configured...)
If I try other alphabet codes in login and ascii in password, it works. But soon, as I use other alphabet code also in password, it doesn't work anymore.
My only idea is, that I could try MD5 to create ascii only characters (I hope it works that way) on the client with javascript and then set Digest to MD5 in realm configuration. But still, it seems very strange. The clear way storage should also function? (now set Digest to 'none')
Is it a bug of Sun App Server?

Here "Order Mode" is the group field (it repeats for every group). Could you pl specify what output you are getting?
If the problem is that you don't want the Title (like "Order Mode" in the above example) to print in every group, just place it outside the group repeating frame. It will print only once.

I have seen that it saved the journal with groups= 'LC'

Another approach is to create a folder in the local Administrators Home folder. Name it Applications. Place the applications you want to restrict access to into that folder. If you have ARD you could use the mkdir and mv commands to achieve this. In some situations I find this an easier way of managing applications rather than what's available in WorkGroup Manager. For me it only tends to work with Apple's built in applications effectively. Anything else is liable to cause a problem along the lines you mention. Some 3rd-Party applications can have dependencies that may be sited in different locations. The trick is tracking down them.
