Scrolling bug safari 7

With the trackpad when i want to return back on the previously page (swap with too fingers), Safari stop responding with the trackpad moove.
I can't srolle down for example

Thank for your answer. The probleme appear when i connect my leapmotion on the USB port.
When it is disconnected every thing is normal. I don't undestand where is the probleme but it's not the tab for me. You are right apple need to fix it. I hope for un update comming soon.

I asked in many forums - flash, flex, starling, feathers etc...
all pointed back to the flash player
If you don't intend to open-sourch the flash player runtime

Encouraged by the possibility you opened - I opened up flash pro
made the simplest test to see if I have something basic to start from:

I'm using a macbook pro to test this, and no object seems to respond
I tried listening on movieclips textfields the stage and the main timeline, without any of those responding
I checked the reference, which claims it is supported only on windows.

I even tried using flash professional built-in components like TextArea, ScrollPane (that are still maintained by Adobe) to see purhaps I missed something surely the Adobe engineers would solve on their own set of components
but I guess the reference mentions it supports windows only for a reason...
I hoped it would be out-dated but it seems like it has an updated status.

I've tested this behaviour in the browser and actually got something to respond:
it works on a mac in Firefox, and Chrome, but not in safari
found an example for you online you can check, it behaves the same.

here's another one that uses pure actionscript if you think it has something to do with flex rather then the flash player...
1. Go to http://darkstar.puremvc.org/
2. Try scrolling with your mouse wheel or trackpad once the window pops up. Nothing should happen.
3. Now click the little green icon in the top-right of the application which toggles Fullscreen. Once in full screen, try scrolling with your mouse wheel or trackpad. Scroll should occur as expected.

Those are old, buggy, not worthy to be called alternatives since they work under narrow restrictions, and frankly, I think the flash player deserves a much more serious support like adobe has for issues it actually want to support and not leave this one for open-source, since the player is propietery

Color fades when scrolling in Safari 4

Since upgrading yesterday from Safari 4 beta to Safari 4 proper (and from 10.5.6 to 10.5.7), a strange things happen: when I scroll up or down in Safari, the color fades. It returns if I stop and click outside the app (i.e. on the desktop background), then recurs if I again scroll in Safari. Didn't happen before the upgrade, and it's quite annoying. Any suggestions?

What are the exact steps you took to fix the problem? I've run Repair Permissions twice now, restarted Safari, and still having the issue:

The above example occurs when I scroll down any page. The content of the page becomes very, very dark and completely unreadable.

Bug - Safari 5.1.5 breaks the keyword search of PDF files displayed on Safari.
After updating to Safari 5.1.5 with Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.8, it is not possible to search for keywords in PDF documents displayed on Safari.
I understand that it is a bug. Is there any way to fix it?

Try deleting a plugin...
Open the Finder. From the menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Typs this: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the Adobe PDF Browser plugin (or PDF Browser plugin) to the Trash.
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
If that doesn't help, back to the Finder menu.
Go > Go to Folder
Type this: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safarfi/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.

Scrolling in SAFARI

I've posted something similar before when the MacBook came out in its first week, but not many people seem to have noticed the issue.
Now that the macbook's been out a month, I wanted to find out if more people are noticing this:
When using two finger scroll in SAFARI, the web page doesn't seem to scroll smoothly as compared to the old MacBook White and MacBook Air first gen. Somehow there just seems to be a waving/rippling effect.. I don't know the technical term to explain this. The page displays fine as soon as I stop scrolling, but while scrolling there seems to be a rippling effect of some sort.
I tried it on a demo machine at the shop and it has the same problem. also on MBP late 2008 as well.
Is anyone else noticing this? Do you know if Apple will fix it? I love the new MacBook but I use SAFARI a lot and it's annoying the ** out of me...

Hi! My magic mouse won't scroll in word for mac - but it scrolls in safari and outlook. So frustrating!

I just upgraded to OS X Yosemite and am using Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 version 14.4.5. My magic mouse no longer scrolls in word - though I can click on things with the magic mouse. And the magic mouse scrolls in safari and outlook. Any thoughts?

I had the same problem. I just quit Word and restarted and it worked. I tried with a new document just to try it at first and when that worked, I tried it on the document I was working on and it was fixed!

Smooth Scrolling in Safari

Is there a way to enable smooth scrolling in Safari? I know is enabled in the Mac version of Safari but is there a way to do it on PC?

I already discovered the answer to my question in another post. Turns out Safari 5.1 does not have the feature for smooth scrolling. I think it did in earlier versions but was dropped in v 5.1.1. Apple, we need it back!
Now, I don't know how to cancel/withdraw this question. Can someone help me with that?

10.6.5 breaks scrolling in Safari

Just upgraded using Software Update and scrolling in Safari is no longer smooth when using the touch pad. I used to be able to read a web page and slowly scroll down at the same time. Now web pages flicker badly as you scroll. Try smartmoney.com, bbc.com and even news.google.com. I see people recommending the Combo Update, is it different? Also, can I use it since I already did Software Update?

I repaired permissions before the combo update and then again after the update. There may be some improvement but now I am sensitive to the flickering and may not be the best judge of it. My wife did volunteer this morning (before the combo update) that the computer seemed to be slower than it has been. She uses it every day and I did not tell her about the update so that confirms what I had felt about it also being slower.
I have the MacBook Pro with 2 video cards in it and I switched to the faster card and there are definite improvements in screen response and with pages loading faster in Safari. Scrolling in Safari is a little smoother but iPhoto is still real jerky.
I'll consider this solved because I think something in the video drivers has been updated (negatively) and it will take a further update from Apple to fix it. It's really too bad because I just became an Apple user this year and was impressed by how smoothly every thing works. Now the jerkiness in Safari and iPhoto feels more like the old MS Windows experience.

BBM V6.1.0.71 Scrolling BUG

The latest official version of BBM has a disgusting scrolling bug. Where text messages are large or multiple, the cursor gets stuck at around the 3rd or 4th line of text and refuses stubbornly to move further up. One can overcome the problem on a touch screen phone such as 9800 or 9900, but if dependant on the touchpad alone, not usable. Exit the chat and re-enter to try again and often success or persist in scrolling down then up and sometimes lucky.
This is a pathetic coding bug and it is sad that such poor quality is being delivered out from the RIM stables. Especially since V..71 is already an urgent bug fix. Why then is there no urgent bug fix for the scroll issue?
To highlight how ridiculous the knock on effect is as a result of poor programming: Consumers are returning their phones to outlets to be repaired and/or replaced just to overcome the problem which is deemed to be the touchpad. Further, the standard RIM policy of not providing a ROLL-BACK or DOWNGRADE facility exacerbates this issue. When searching for downgrade OTA links and running the risk of downgrading, the BBM cursor is lost on OS7 (V6.1.0.49). How bad does this problem get?
Suffice to say that it is sad to witness such inefficiency from RIM especially after the service fiasco last year. One would think that RIM would be over eager to regain confidence and loyalty in the market.
Bottom Line RIM: Sort out the mess with a serious sense of urgency that is visible to the public eye.

You don't need an older version, this version works.
Just delete it form your application list.

Muse Parallax Scrolling Bug?

Hi There,
I've just started out using Adobe Muse CC this past week and so far so good. That is, until I start to apply parallax scrolling attributes to certain objects.
Basically, whenever I go to apply some scrolling attributes to a grouped object (rectangle and text box), the whole thing appears right at the top of the page.
A better way is to explain it through the screenshots below:

Scrolling Parallax Safari Bug

Hi!
I'm making this new site in Muse it everything goes perfect.
I have some animations in the web that works perfectly on Chrome and Firefox, but when I try to see the site on Safari and scroll down, the assets that have the animations keeps jumping and the scroll looks really weird.
This happens only on Safari.

What OS do you have? Currently after updating to Mavericks Safari has gotten much slower at processing scroll events, and in turn that makes the page look choppy. This is Safari's bug, but we are currently working on Muse performance improvements to give the browser an easier time loading the file.

click a link to navigate to another page
the new page is scrolled to the middle.

I Too have found this. I believe it is wanting to scroll while tapped image is enlarged, like iPad does. You can't tap the X or ... buttons, but you can sorta slide it up a bit. Notice a line of a few pixel at bottom of page behind image window... Sometimes the image slides up and zooms somewhat, exposing the rest of the images below.
Really hope hope they fit it soon. Also in Safari, many buttons have sweet spots that are hard to tap. Shouldn't take 5-7 tries to hit the #^€%!£¥ next button on a web page.
