Scrolling Information not Appearing?

In iPhoto 6 the scrolling information does not appear when I'm scrolling through my library. I've got Show Scrolling Information checked in Preferences but still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try deleting the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

  • Scroll Information not appearing

    Hi,
    Scroll information is actually an option under the preferences that we can enable.
    However, it seems that the photo/date information is only displayed when the 'library' mode is selected and not under other subcategories e.g. 2005.
    Is this the normal behaviour for iPhoto?
    Also, it seems that I cannot enable view by film rolls under any category aside from 'Library'.
    Appreciate any feedback on the above.
    Best regards,

    benyap:
    Welcome to the Apple Discussions. The scrolling information should be available when viewing the photos in one of the year calendars in the Source pane. You'll only get the year and month displayed as rolls are only displayed in the main Library window as you've discovered. It's the nature of the beast.
    Do you Twango?

  • Free Busy information not appearing correctly in Outlook

    First some background:
    For two of our Resource Mailboxes, we are having an issue where all times are showing outside of Work Hours (gray). The working hours for both of these rooms are set for 8-5, pst, just like all our other Resource Calendars. This occurs on all installed Outlook clients,
    but does not occur through OWA (both logged in as the resource, and a standard user).
    Things we've checked and confirmed are the same with a working resource:
    Permissions for the Mailbox
    Permissions for the Calendar
    TimeZone Information
    Work Week Information
    Resource Policies
    Steps we've taken to try and resolve the issue without affect:
    Forcing a OAB update on Exchange and Locally
    Changing Work Week/TimeZone
    Changing Calendar share permissions
    I'm a little lost at where to proceed next, I've got a mind to try and just kill our OAB and rebuild from scratch, but will talk that over with our Exchange Admin. I've done Compares on Get-Mailbox, Get-MailboxCalendarConfiguration, Get-MailboxCalendarFolder,
    Get-MailboxFolder, Get-MailboxFolderPermission, Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration and probably every other cmdlet one could run on a mailbox (except for probably exact the one I need).

    Hi,
    Do you mean the issue doesn’t happen when users view room’s free/busy information from Scheduling Assistant in OWA?
    Please make sure the date and time zone are the same in Exchange server, Outlook clients settings, user local machines and Domain Controller. Also double confirm the work hours for these two room mailboxes are configured the same for 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Please
    run the following command in Exchange server to check the calendar processing for these two problematic room mailboxes:
    Get-CalendarProcessing Room1 | FL
    Get-CalendarProcessing Room2 | FL

  • Horizontal scroll bar not appearing-Alert report screen

    Hi All,
    I have an agent setup which shows alerts and a report is fed as an input/delivery content. The report is fairly big with many columns and cannot fit in the standard alert screen hence need a horizontal scroll bar to view all the columns. But unfortunately there are two vertical scroll bars which are appearing and no horizontal scroll bar. Could the experts please let me know if this is a bug or is there any configuration that I am missing?
    OBIEE version: 11.1.1.5
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Vikram

    Hi,
    Sorry for the delay in response. The issue was because of IE7 version. Its a bug.
    Thanks,
    Vikram

  • Application scroll bar not appearing.

    Hi,
    I have a canvas inside an application container with
    constraints 10 along all sides. I have a panel inside the canvas
    which has constraints of 10 from bottom left and right and some x
    length from the top. Now if the panel children does not fit inside
    the container why am i not getting a scroll bar for the application
    container to make the container big for all the children to fit?
    -nascentmind

    For the parent container it is off. But for the application
    container it is on. I don't want the scroll bar to come to the
    parent container but right up on the application container. I want
    all the intermediate containers to adjust its height based on its
    children and finally the application container adjust its height
    and provide the scroll bar. Should i do it programmatically or is
    there any way built in in flex?

  • Scroll bar not appeared

    Hello,
    I used the following command to view documents and scroll to view contents:
    window.open("\\server\doc\example.doc","","Width=780,Height=520,help=yes,border=thin,status=no,toolbar=no;menubar=no;scrollbar=yes;scrolling=yes");
    There is no problem with .doc, .xls, .pdf and .rtf files as I can scroll to see contents. But I cannot scroll the .txt file to see the content because there is no scrollbar, even thought scrollbar=yes;scrolling=yes is used.
    May I know why the scrollbar=yes;scrolling=yes do not work for .txt file and how to enable the scrollbar for .txt file ?
    Regards,
    thinkw.

    Hello,
    Thanks. I found out why, it should be:
    window.open("\\server\doc\example.doc",""," Width=780,Height=520,help=yes,border=thin,status=n
    o,toolbar=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=yes,scrolling=ye
    s");
    It is scrollbars not scrollbar. It should be , and not ;.

  • Scroller not appearing in the popup when opened for the second time

    Hi,
    I have a popup window which has three tabs A, B, and C. My tab A has BorderContainer > Scroller > Vgroup
    When opened for the first time, I can see the scroller. But , when opened for the second time, the scroller does not appear and the content in th Border container seems truncated.
    Please help.

    No answers, but I may be seeing something similar.
    I'm converting a project from Flex 3 to 4. In a popup (Spark TitleWindow) I have a some TabNavigators. On subsequent openings of the popup, the contents of the navigator children don't always render. After some changing of various Halo components to their Spark equivalents, I thought the problem had gone away. But the problem seems to have come back.
    In my case, I'm not sure if the "subsequent opening" is the key issue. Sometimes, the contents of nested TabNaviagtor children don't render on the first opening. although the first child content always renders. But the problem seems to increase in subsequent openings. (I.e. more children of TabNavigators don't render.)
    Perhaps not connected, but I notice when this happens, the outside borders of dataGrid components don't render in components outside of TabNavigators. I suspect there's a simple thing I need to to do to fix this, but I haven't found it. Any hints or insights would be welcomed.

  • Horizontal scroller not appearing despite viewport being larger than scoller area

    I have a few datagrids which I have rotated 270 degrees so the header will be on the left side. I have contained these datagrids in a VGroup so they would be stacked on top of  each other. Everything looks as I want it, but the horizontal scroller will not appear. The Columns are very tall and go off the screen and I cannot scroll to the right to see them. I have tried everything. I've made the scroller width smaller and nothing changes. I've added an HGroup and then  Group to contain the VGroup and still no change. Any idea how I can get this scroller to work? Here is what my code looks like
    <s:Scroller id="scroll" width="100%" height="100%" horizontalScrollPolicy="on">
            <s:Group width="100%" height="100%">
            <s:VGroup gap="10" width="100%" height="100%">
                <s:DataGrid id="dgWeeks" rotation="270" dataProvider="{user.weeks}" sortableColumns="false" horizontalScrollPolicy="off"
                            verticalScrollPolicy="off" width="100%" height="100" top="0"styleName="defaultDataGrid" editable="true">

                            <s:GridColumn dataField="date" headerText="Date" editable="false" width="36" itemRenderer="components.itemRenderers.Unrotate" />
                            <s:GridColumn dataField="weekNo" headerText="Week #" editable="false" width="36" itemRenderer="components.itemRenderers.UnrotateWeekNo"  />
                        </s:ArrayList>

                   <s:DataGrid id="dgWeeks" rotation="270" dataProvider="{user.weeks}" sortableColumns="false" horizontalScrollPolicy="off"
                            verticalScrollPolicy="off" width="100%" height="100" top="0" styleName="defaultDataGrid" editable="true">
                    <s:columns>
                        <s:ArrayList>
                            <s:GridColumn dataField="date" headerText="Date" editable="false" width="36" itemRenderer="components.itemRenderers.Unrotate" />
                            <s:GridColumn dataField="weekNo" headerText="Week #" editable="false" width="36" itemRenderer="components.itemRenderers.UnrotateWeekNo"  />
                        </s:ArrayList>

                </s:DataGrid>

  • Scrolling information no longer showing ???

    i had my photos organised into folders and so when scrolling through the iphoto library the folder name )scrolling information) would appear as i come across the photos from a specific folder,
    i recently added pictures to one of those folders manually and now the scrolling info doesnt appear anymore, when i added them i simply dragged them into their folder in the iphoto library folder in the pictures folder and then to make them show in iphoto i also imported them to the library
    im guessing something wrong about the way i done this had an effect on the scrolling information which doesnt show anymore
    sorry if this sounds confusing

    FYI re: Finder folders, Film Rolls, Albums, and Keywords
    The library folders you see in Finder reflect the Film Rolls in iPhoto. Try viewing your library in film roll view (View > Sort Photos > by Film Roll). Yes, each time you import one or more photos it will appear in your library as a new film roll. But you can change that (only after importing). Highlight the new roll name and icon, then drag it up to the roll with your car pictures until that roll name becomes selected, then drop. Your new roll is gone, but those pictures are now located inside the other roll. Roll info can also be edited in the info pane when you select a roll in the iPhoto window. Retitling and reorganizing film rolls in iPhoto will be reflected in the folders you see in Finder.
    When you view your entire Library in film roll view, you are seeing your iPhoto inventory; that is, each photo in your library displays once and only once. I keep my inventory organized chronologically and by camera. (Separate rolls for pics from my digital camera vs. a disposable camera vs. my kid's camera....) Once my rolls are organized I don't change them around. I don't organize my rolls by subject because there are ways to do this in iPhoto that allow for total flexibility.
    Albums, as Terence described, are another level of organization which allow photos to be categorized in multiple groups. Albums do not duplicate your photos; they instruct iPhoto as to which photos to display together. Smart albums are particularly flexible, because they will find the pictures that match your criteria and will continue to change as you add more pictures that match the criteria.
    If you assign keywords to your photos you can find pics by subject with a single click. Add a keyword "car" to your list. Select all photos in your library with your car and drag them to the "car" keyword. Then by simply clicking the keyword you will pull up all of those photos. This is very powerful when you assign multiple keywords and use them in combinations. It makes your smart albums more flexible and powerful, as well.
    With all this flexibility, how you organize your photos is up to you. Just never, ever do it from the Finder.

  • Vertical Scroll bar does not appear in table control

    Hi ,
    I have a table control with both vertical and horizontal scroll bars.
    The data which comes is always more than 50 and the visible line size is 8.The vertical scroll bar
    does not appear at times..but if i run the program again, it appears..
    Sometimes it appears and sometimes no vertical scroll bar comes thought the data is more than the visible lines.
    Any suggestions ? why is this happening?
    Regards,
    Sharadha

    You have inserted data in the internal table and not "informed" the table control
    In the PBO, use a statement like
    DESCRIBE TABLE <itab> LINES <control>-lines.

    I have a student trying to set up an App Store account (she has an Apple ID), however she is being asked for credit card information.  The option of NONE does not appear as one of the choices with the other credit cards.
    Any assistance?

    There are instrctions on this page for how to create a new account (it won't work with existing account) without giving a credit card number : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 e.g. select a free app in the store and click on 'create Apple id' when 'buying' it.

    Bluetooth is neither detected nor working. In the system preferences under BLUETOOTH header it says "No information found". Bluetooth icon is not appearing on desktop either. Please help.

    Yes....It happens all the time. I also erased my HD and installed Snow Leopard but with no success. Tried lots of REBOOTING but nothing worked for me.As I have already installed the new OSX I think there is no need to go through the below procedure. What do you suggest?
    Before you go through the ritual of reinstalling the entire system just try to do a "factory reset" of your bluetooth environment. To do this you need to run the Bluetooth Explorer which is a utility installed as part of XCode.
    1. Launch Bluetooth Explorer.
    2. Select the "Modify Software & Device Configuration" from the Utilities menu.
    3. Keep the first 4 checkboxes checked (one will say "Full factory reset").
    4. Click "Perform actions" button (lower right of window).
    5. Reboot (possibly the Reboot NOW button will work, if not just do a normal reboot).
    Hopefully that will clear your problem(s) so you can re-pair your bluetooth devices.
    Good luck.

  • Scroll bar does not appear in some PDF files. How can I enable it?

    Scroll bar does not appear in some PDF files. How can I enable it?

    Scroll bars are supposed to appear when needed.
    For example, scroll bars will appear when you zoom in on a page.
    FAQ: How to zoom in/out on a page
    Windows 8 automatically hides scroll bars after a few seconds of inactivity.  Scroll bars will reappear when you touch the screen and move your finger (on a Touch-enabled device) or move your mouse.
    Additionally, page navigation depends on the view mode (Single Page vs. Continuous Page).
    In the Single Page mode, you can swipe left/right (horizontally) or click the left/right arrow button with your mouse to go to the previous/next page.
    In the Continuous Page mode, you can swipe or scroll up/down (vertically) to go to the previous/next page.

  • This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with

    Hi All,
    I have IDOC to XML file scenario.
    In SXMB_MONI, it showed the message processed successfully (checkered flag).
    I open the payload in the target, I'm able to see the XML format without error.
    then I checked in RWB the overall status is successful.
    But when I checked the detail (message content) I got the following message:
    "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it".
    So physical file created is like corrupted.
    If using XML marker to open the file it show warning "Invalid Unicode Sequence".
    The thing is when rerun the whole interface again, which is mean the same idoc send from the source, the file created successfully. Sometimes need to rerun twice or more than that to get the file.
    Anyone has idea on what is wrong here?
    Thanks,
    Victor.

    Hi Baskar,
    Thanks for your reply.
    It's PI 7.0.
    Overall status is successful but when I go to RWB to check the message content i got the error message above.
    Target system is only normal FTPS server.
    XML file is created as well but it's showing error when we open it.
    The weird thing is without fixing anything if we rerun the same interface with same set of data sometimes the error is gone by itself.
    Thanks,
    Victor.
