Scrolling inside app folders?

Why Apple has not yet been made scrolling inside app folders? such as Cydia...
It would be very convenient, the screen will have less "screen-pages"! Now in my iPhone 7 "screen-pages"!
Sometimes i need quickly run an app and i waste to many time to find needed app!
I need scrolling in app folder but i don't want to do jailbreak....
Let's ask Apple to add this feature all together!

If you want to find a app just press the home button when your on your homescreen this will take you to search iPhone then just start typing the name of it and you can go on it from there rather than hav8ing to find it

Videos inside of folders?

Will Front Row play video files that are inside of folders in the Movies folder?

There is an option to view videos in your "Movies" folder. When you choose that option, a list of of folders and individual movies (movies that are not in other folders) will appear. You can scroll up or down to choose a folder to enter or choose a movie to play. You can go into a folder and play a video then go back up and out of that folder to find another folder to go into. So, you can make a folder called "2007" and inside that folder make folders called "June", "July" and "November" and put movies in each one. When you enter the 2007 folder in Front Row, you'll see "June", "July" and "November". You can enter one, play a movie that's in the folder and then when you're done you can back out to 2007 and choose a different one.
If you add your movies to iTunes, even if they live in different folders, and you choose the iTunes preference to NOT copy files into the iTunes library when adding, then the movies can live all over but you'll see them directly in the Front Row interface for Movies.

Help I can't see the icons inside my folders

I upgraded yesterday to 7.0 and now I can't no longer see the apps inside the folders. I have tried all the features in the settings and still no go. Putting text to biggest size helped a bit but I still can't not enlarge the icons inside the folders or change the background scrappy clear color to help see the tiny icons.this is the first time ever that I had to complaint to apple. I hate complaining but the only choice I have left is to take all my apps from inside the folder icons and that will make me have about 15 or 20 desktop pages with icons? That will be too many pages. I am desperate here... Please help me. Thanks.

Nvm. Omg I can't believe the picture I had selected as my background picture made also my background color change according to the picture I select from my camera roll in my background inside my folders...So that was causing the problem all along. I changed my background picture for a darker one and I was finally able to see my icons. Before they were like turning invincible color or faded tru the color added by the picture I selected as background picture for my entire desktop... Why can't Apple say these things to us? Now the problem is solved I can see my icons now... Never again I an selecting a picture that makes the icons faded w the color or blend w the background color and turn them like see tru.. Unable to load classes from jar files inside APP-INF/lib in EAR.

Weblogic version: 10.3.3
Platform: Linux x86-64 bit
We deployed an ear packaged with all the common library jars inside APP-INF/lib. Deployment was successful.
for some reason, it is always giving ClassNotFoundException for the classes inside the jars. This does not happen
in 10.3.2 version of weblogic.
We tried to add them to domain/lib directory (instead of APP-INF/lib) but still it is not able to resolve the classes.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

try using prefer-web-inf-classes in the weblogic.xml file in your WAR file
or using prefer-application-packages in the weblogic-application.xml file in your EAR.

I can no longer scroll through app selections in Genius iPad

I can no longer scroll through app selections in Genius on my iPad in the App Store. I see the first row and half of the second row and cannot scroll. This is a new condition. Landscape or portrait is the same.

Just adding my voice as well.
Had this issue for awhile now. Believe it must have surfaced after last iOS update.
Quite annoying since Genius was a good way to quick browse for new app suggestions.

Creating .app folders in other operating systems?

I'm working on a cross-platform game and am hoping to create an OS X port of it. I don't have access to a mac, and so am unable to use the xcode tool for creating .app folders. Are there any tools for creating .app folders on other operating systems? I'd prefer Linux, but can also use windows if required.

Well, .app bundles are specific to Cocoa and Carbon applications... The closest way to make such applications is to use GNUStep (which is an open Cocoa) but it means to rebuild the whole app to make it work with Cocoa/GNUStep...
However, application that are compatible with Mac OS X are not necessarily in .app bundles. Bundles are used for a specific purpose which gather files that the app should have really close, like its interface files (nib) that is used only with Cocoa or Carbon. If your app is neither Carbon nor Cocoa, there's no use in creating a .app bundle it doesn't even exist. And moreover, Xcode (or Project Builder on GNUStep) is the only app that creates .app bundles.

Itunes messing up my app folders

I have the following problem:
- I installed itunes on my new computer
- transfered the apps to itunes
- Now I want to sync - itunes tells me that all my apps are replaced
and at the same time I can see that all my folders are not there anymore.
How can I tell itunes that my iphone app folders should be transfered to itunes?

Can't Scroll Inside Drop Down Menus

I just got a new HP laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit), installed Firefox 11 (now updated to 12), and discovered that when using the track pad (Synaptics Touch Pad v8.1. Driver provided by Synaptics, version 15.3.29.0 dated 10/13/2011), I can not scroll inside drop down menus.

Click the drop down for the category to search. Use the track pad to scroll the list. Mine closes the list and returns focus to the browser instead of scrolling the list. It then scrolls the browser window instead. This works fine in IE. Things I have tried:
Safe mode
Unchecking smooth scrolling
Unchecking autoscrolling
Unchecking hardware acceleration
And just about any of the various combinations of the above things. I also tried restarting Firefox each time I made a change. Nothing seems to solve this issue.
Oddly enough, if there is a text window inside the page (like the on I am writing this in), I can scroll that just fine. Once I move my mouse out of the box, it scrolls the main page just fine. I don't think it's a matter of the focus following the mouse, it has something to do with scrolling drop down boxes specifically it seems.
Also, I should note that all the pages I have problems with work fine in IE the way they SHOULD work in Firefox.

It's Synaptics Touch Pad v8.1. It is using a driver provided by Synaptics, version 15.3.29.0 dated 10/13/2011, and is supposedly the most current version. I have tried getting newer off the HP website, letting Windows search for the most current version, and looking at the Synaptics site, but I still end up with the same version.
I have double checked the scrolling regions to make sure I am within them as well as all the other settings regarding the touch pad. In fact, I had to enable the scrolling regions because they were disabled by default and instead used two finger scrolling. For what it's worth, two finger scrolling gives me the same result - it does not scroll the drop down menu.
As I said, it works just fine in IE and all other programs, so I'm not sure I understand how the drivers for the touchpad could be the issue. It seems to me it's more likely that Firefox is not interpreting the "signal" from the touchpad correctly, yet IE does. Then again, I've been wrong before...

Syncing and losing app folders

Hi since the new massive software upgrade last week my iphone is losing message threads and also all the app folders I created. I have re-created these twice now but it is a wste of time and very tedious.
Any bright ideas?

I dont know, but I arrange my apps into folders in itunes and when I sync there are some folders but not all the apps are in the folders i put them in.. I too feel like this is a big waste of time.But maybe I am not doing something right.. some times it takes me over an hour to arrange my apps and then when I sync half dont show up and the other half I have to search for because they are not where I put them.. any suggestions?

I installed iMovie for iOS because I thought it would enable me to export slow-mo videos with the correct frame rate, but it didn't. So I deinstalled it again, and now I'm stuck with an empty iMovie folder in my iCloud drive that can not be deleted, not even after removing iMovie from the iCloud backup list in the settings. The iMovie folder only disappeared for a moment after I did that, but soon bounced back.
Not even being able to remove a folder doesn't invite me to switch from Google Drive to iCloud Drive yet.

How come my app folders bunched up on top of each other?

I opened my (new version) iPad and swiped from my opening screen over to my second screen and found every one of my app folders were in the top left corner sitting on top of one another all locked up. The event was completely random. I had to reboot the iPad to get it unstuck. Has anyone else seen this happen?

I have read about it happening to other users. I sure don't think it's anything to worry about if rebooting returned the screen to normal. Rebooting resets the system memory, and something probably just went a little whacky - maybe an app conflict, an app crash, or something like that.
If it is a one time occurrence, I wouldn't sweat it.

Creating App Folders

I am trying to organize my IPAD by using app folders. I read you can press down on the icon and it then shakes, then you can drag it to another icon and it will create a folder. When I do this it just rearranges the icons. Is there a way to create app folders? I would also like to create email folders if possible.

As was explained in the response to your other post on this issue, this will be possible when version iOS 4.2 comes out later this month. You can currently do it on the iPhone if you have iOS 4.0 or higher.
