After updating to IOS 7 update. It has made my key board not work very well when typing a message.

Firefox Sync key was not working (should have). Reset the key and I probably lost bookmarks. Can I restore them?

When I tried to set up the sync service, Firefox said the sync key was not the right one. It should work as I used it on multiple times. The only difference is that this is Ubuntu Oneiric, freshly installed.
Then it offered me to reset the sync key and I did that. It did not say anything about loosing data and I reset it. Now I can't acces my bookmarks.
Is there a way to restore the old bookmarks? I can provide you with all necessary data.

I never received "that" window, every time i try to use sync, it says "Set up Sync", then pair a device or create an account. If i try to create an account, it says my email is in use. I can log into the portal, but not use sync.

If you clicked "Never" then you have created an exception that you need to remove.

Key Board not working on Compact CQ60-420US Laptop

One day the key board and touch pad was working and the next day it would not work. I tried a restore to a day that I know it was working to no avail. I have a Compact CQ60-420US laptop. This laptop is not moved around as it just sits on the desk all the time. Any thoughts anyone?

You can try the following steps:
1. Please remove all external devices from the computer, remove the battery and the AC Adapter. After that, hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Reconnect, restart and check for functionality.
2. Go to BIOS and check if the Arrow keys are working. This will isolate any issues with the Operating System.
3. Try using an external Keyboard and Mouse. This will help us determine if the issue is with the computer hardware or the Operating System.

Key board not working with hp 2000, window 8

I have a hp 2000 lap top tablet with windows 8. The key board stop working. First it was the numbers, then letters. I just bought a wireless key board just so I could research the problem. Any ideas?

It sounds like the laptop keyboard cable may be loose or your laptop keyboard may need to be replaced. If an external keyboard is working just fine, it should mean that the motherboard is just fine.
If the laptop is still under warranty, I would contact HP, they should fix it for you. They will not want you trying to fix it yourself (at least without them knowing about it) without voiding your warranty.
Otherwise, you may need to find someone that can take care of it for you. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can find keyboards on Ebay for less than $20 usually and tutorials that will walk you through the whole process of replacing it. Of all the parts to replace on a laptop, the keyboard is generally one of the easiest to fix, but I would research it out a little before attempting.

Email scrolling on GoDaddy site causes Firefox to stop responding

I have Windows 7 Premium, desktop (Dell XPS) and Laptop (Gateway) gaming computers. 4Gb memory in each, Firefox 7.0.1
When I try to scroll down thru my emails using GoDaddy's email program my Firefox goes into Not Responding for 20-30 seconds and most of the time will not scroll at all. Hard drive is not flashing, so it is not a memory swapping problem. This happens on both machines and does not happen on any other program. GoDaddy works fine in Win Explorer.
I've removed all but a few add-ons, etc from Firefox. No change.
Anyone... any ideas???

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image.

Can somebody please let me know how i can select the cancel option using only keyboard? I've been using Mac OS from an year but still have to figure out this one. In Windows, a simple tab key press would do that. Please check the image to see what i am talking about. i dont know how to describe the options pane.
Did Apple overlook this keyboard shortcut or did i live without knowing this for more than a year? It is not present in leopard too.

This dialog box doesn't come with pre highlighted option. So we have to click with a mouse to open the application.
