Scrolling through Camera Roll is Jumpy

The title says it all really. When scrolling through the photos in Camera Roll, it is not a smooth scroll. It jumps and stutters. However, when I am in any other folder of photos, the scrolling is as smooth as glass. This only happens in the Camera Roll folder.
I have tried the following to solve the issue:
1. Hold the home button until it shuts the app down.
2. Hold the home and power button until the phone resets.
3. Turn the phone off over night.
Does anyone have a fix for this, because it hasn't always done this. Thanks in advance.

One thing that might help.
If you have done a reset with the home and power button, you might want to try a restore.
If the issue is a software problem, the restore will fix it.

You might need to reset and or restore the iphone to resolve any software issues.

Hi,
I have a little problem with my iPod touch 4th gen after the iOS 5 update - the scroll through Camera roll is not running smoothly.
When scrolling to earlier photos, it gets stuck for a second and then scrolls again, gets stuck and then scrolls.
It can get quite irritating when trying to view earlier photos....
I'd appreciate any help.

Graphics bug making software unusable. "Ghosting" effect whenever scrolling through piano roll or tracks window

As stated in the title, a bug has started plaguing my copy of Logic Express 9 ever since I updated to Yosemite. Whenever I scroll back and forth through the tracks window or the piano roll, this sort of ghosting effect appears and makes manipulating anything onscreen impossible. I have found no other mentions of this problem on the support forums, but this issue has made the software completely unusable. Here is a screenshot of the bug:
If anyone has experienced this problem and found a fix, please let me know.

If nothing else, this huge list of updates and fixes, shows clearly that the Logic Dev team is working hard on fixing and improving LPX to a major degree.... and from the list of fixes done.. show they do read the bug reports submitted!
As an aside....
I recall how all the 'naysayers' prior to LPX (and in some cases, since...) were proclaiming how Logic was dead, the team was being disbanded, we won't see any further development, the Dev team doesn't listen or care... and so on....... I wonder where those people are now?

Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

download the new you tube apps in i tunes, in os6 just pick a video in the photos apps and select share, the old you tube app icon will appear

I agree- I apologize if I sounded skeptical and attacking. In no way did I mean it to sound that way.
I completely agree on the software-hardware combo issue- this is why apple killed off 1G and 2G devices- because newer software revisions would never ever run well if at all on such ancient devices. can you imagine running iOS 6 on an iPhone/iPod touch 1G? That would be terrible. Let alone iOS 3 runs terrible on them and now are generally rendered useless due to newer App Store requirements (most require 4.3+ now to allow apple to kill off the older devices). forcing newer software on older hardware (apple, dell, HP,... Anything electronic this definitely applies to) will almost always yield less-than-par results. The other part is apple forcing you to upgrade by means of intentially making things obsolete. all companies do that.
All of this factual info aside, the issue at hand with the 5 is not a software-hardware combo problem- those are most widely seen with the major revisions. then again, this isn't the first time apple has gotten caught up in battery drain snafus (even iOS 5 was plagued with this as well- and now there are some people desperate to roll back but can't). it basically waters it down to the point where keeping the stock software will always yield the best results even though newer versions provide better features- it all depends on whether or not the person deems the added features are worth a performance hit.
PS. I'm still at 100%- and I've been using it periodically throughout the day. your combo worked for you, but didn't for me. And may or may not work for others- As the tech world would say, mileage may vary.
PSS. What model/carrier do you have? Just wondering.

I did not read the rather long post. If you wish to reinstall OS X 10.4, use your software install DVD. Backup is essential. To minimize your risk, I would use an archive and install:

In that way, you will have a fresh copy of OS X and your current settings will be preserved.
Incidentally, I do not agree that the printer problem is best solved by reinstalling OS X. I have had HP printers for sometime and, on one occasion, had difficulty after an upgrade. HP technical support walked me through uninstalling all traces of the HP driver and then reinstalling.

How do I sync iPhone Camera Roll over iTunes or WiFi Only (Not through 3G)

I have a problem withere due to low 3G allowances I need to sync the iPhone Camera Roll either direct to iTunes (USB ot WifI) or a way ti force iCloud sync to only go through WiFi (disable iCloud sync via 3G). Does anyone know how to do this?

If you are running Windows on a PC, define the Autoplay function to import your photos whenever you plug in your device. Personally, I would disable the "Autosync" within iTunes so that you have a chance for the photo import to complete before you manually click on the iTunes "sync"

Camera roll photo album scrolled above where I can click it

My iphone 4 photo album app has my only album, "camera roll," appearing under the heading (Albums) where I cannot click on the album but I can scroll down the page to see that it is there. Any help on why this happened and a way to fix it?

This started for me earlier this year, now it happens about once every 2 weeks. Only fix is to reboot the phone. Of course it happens when I need something quick, making it a pain. Hopefully somebody get this glitch submitted into Apple so that it sorts itself out in the next software release.

Albums camera roll submenu not visible due to scroll bug

OS 4.3.5 on iphone has a bug.....the "photo album" app when you click on it the "camera roll" submenu gets hidden by the static title "album"...when you try scrolling up the scroll will revert back to its same position and effectively hidding the "camera roll submenu" ....it seems that programers didn't factor the y position of the submenu list.....can someone fix that?

Open the multitask bar to close the photo app completely or reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.
Hopefully it will be fixed in iOS 5

Anybody missing the scroll arrows in iOS 5 camera roll ?

I use my iPhone a lot as a photo camera, and since iOS 5 I miss the scroll arrows in the camera roll. When you take many photos of the same subject they come usefull to jump quickly between photos to visualize better their differences.

It turned my iTouch from a useful business tool -- I could load photos onto my iTouch and take it out onto the field or the dugout when I talked to baseball players and go over video clips with them frame by frame -- into a really expensive MP3 player.
It's also more than a bit frustrating because I bought the iTouch for this purpose.
At least I can still do something like this on my iPad (but who knows for how long).

Every photo i take on my phone its automatically put onto other devices camera rolls. this is annoying as these other devices are used by more than one person and these photos could be embarassing photos from me in younger years and its understandable why i want it fixed. help

They aren't. They are put into the Photo Stream.
On other devices, you need to manually select them and add them to the Camera Roll.

Can you move a video taken on the iPad from the camera roll to 'Videos' without syncing through iPhoto?

Pretty simple question that I can not figure out the answer to. Can you move a video taken on the iPad from the camera roll to 'videos' on the go?

I can do it on my iPhone and, according to the iPad manual (p. 58), you can do it on an iPad.
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
