Scrolling with trackpad in bookmarks doesn't work

As per the title.
Scrolling within a list of bookmarks doesn't work. Scrolling in a drop down menu doesn't work either. Has anyone experienced the same and found a solution?
Scrolling works fine on pages in Firefox but not within bookmarks.
Scrolling through bookmarks in IE9 works fine.
I have the Flash/Youtube issue too but I'm guessing its not related.

Same problem here on two different HP laptops. I really hope Mozilla can fix this problem, maybe in collaboration with HP. It must have something to do with HP's hardware customization. HP do their stuff their way and customers suffer. I've had no such problem on any other laptop and they were all using Synaptics touchpads.
I have lots of Bookmarks and it is really annoying to wait for them to scroll automatically with the cursor placed over the little arrow bar at the bottom of Bookmarks dropdown list. If you use an external mouse, you can scroll through Bookmarks with it just fine, so the problem is with the touchpad.

Okay, here's an update: the DVI to ADC adapter does work with the Apple displays that I have tried, but it won't work with the Formac. I have tried multiple time to contact them, but to no avail... they don't even respond to threats of posting my opinion of them, which is this:
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM FORMAC! They make quality products, but their customer service is a big time joke! They won't take care of you.

Likely because it's a not self contained and/or it's game and copy protected, so install it via the developers instructions instead, which likely means it will have ot be uninstalled off the first machine, the developer contacted for a new license key before installing on the newer machine.
If you want it on both machines, you will need to likely buy another license.
Most developers are fine with transfering license between machines, you have to contact them.
They just want to make sure it's only on one machine so they are not getting robbed.

you just have to close completely you Ipod (push 5-10 seconds on the button to open/close you ipod and slide the turn off) after open the ipod and it suppose to be correct I hope I answer to your question!

First step is re-start the finder
1. Press command-option-esc simultaneously
2. Select Finder
3. Click on re-start

I'd recommend reposting in the Boot Camp forum, that is where the Boot Camp and Windows gurus hang out.

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer.

Bookmark doesn't work with prop USE_PAGE_WRAPPER

Hello,
in WAD i have a webtemplate. This template has the property 'USE_PAGE_WRAPPER=X'.
In context menu of a table item the command 'BOOKMARK' works right.
In webtemplate where i have defined a push button to do the same (bookmarking), the function doesn't work.
If webtemplate property 'USE_PAGE_WRAPPER=' is set, the push button works right.
Has anybody ideas?

After installing FF4 scrolling up and down with the touch-pad doesn't work on my Acer Aspire anymore.

Neither does it work to browse forwards or backwards with the double gesture. Zooming in and out works fine though.
Everything still works in IE8 and in Google Chrome.
The touch-pad uses an ALPS-driver.

Thanks, I don't have the file tp4table.dat on my computer. Currently I've reversed to 3.6 and will run it as long as it works. Really don't like 4.0 anyway... May be forced to use IE again if I don´t find anything better. Tried Chrome and worked well at first but now back and forth doesn't work there either and that's so annoying.

Trackpad in bootcamp doesn't work all the time

Hi, so I just bought a brand new MacBook Pro because out of my own stupidity, I destroyed my old one. I decided when I got the new one, that I would BootCamp it and run Windows 7 on a partition. I've been pretty happy with it so far, but occasionally, the trackpad doesn't work. Normally when I reboot into Windows the next time, it'll work. I don't know exactly what is causing it, but the settings within BootCamp tell me that it should be scrolling, right clicking, etc, and it simply isn't.... Any reason why this would be? It shouldn't be the drivers unless this came out with new ones between now and this past Saturday...

Rss bookmark doesn't work

I have two problems when I create my first iWeb blog:
1. The rss feed of the blog doesn/t work in the browser:
I publish my iWeb site in a folder. Therefor I choose the folder and that same window I type in the url of the website. When the blog is shown in firefox or safari I can bookmark the rss. The browser rss bookmark shows the blog entry correctly, but when the blog is updated with more entries they will not be shown.
The rss bookmark doesn't display the updated entries. What am I doing wrong? Or do I have to refer to a special rss file (which one?), and not to the folder which includes the site, so that the feed shows the new entries correctly.
the other problem is the following:
2. The browser shows the headline colour for the blog entries always black. But iWeb shows them in orange, and that's the colour I want for this headlines. Where
is the colour gone? Why is it not the same color than it is in iWeb?
Anyone knows how to solve this?
