SCSM Query shows correct information in SMportal but sends only user name back to scorch
When creating a services request in SMportal it will send back correct information to scorch and make configution change if I use use text and not query in the request. When using query it will show the information the users should see but SCSM sends only
the user name back to scorch and not the value that was selected.
Thanks for the help
Hans Petter
When you create a Request Offering that uses a query, that item is added to the Service Request as a related item. In your case you will need to get the related Active Directory Users for your service request. See the link below for more details on this.

How to show ipad application in itunes, but will only be assessable to owners, not the general public by using lock code/password protected on iTunes
So if I understand you properly, I need to create EOs for all my list of values (which are based on views of Oracle apps tables) and base my VO on those EOs. And then I setup associations between these EOs and the Item EO. Then I include the these EOs in my Items VO and add the description attributes to my list of attributes. I had done this for the list of users, but for the views of Oracle I had just created read only VO. Sounds like that won't work if I want to display the description. I know what to do - I guess I was hoping there was a way to use the read only VO.
Thanks

My MacBook Pro HD crashed. It is all up and runmning except for one issue. I have about 200 songs on my iPhone but have only gotton 53 back on my laptop from my iPhone and those are the songs I purchased via iTunes. How do I get the rest of the songs from my iPhone back onto my HD.
The songs I'm not able to import casme from CD's. Nothing from napster etc.
I've tried and tried to import them rom iTunes vis "Library" " Import"Hey kbert73
I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

IPod is not showing correct information
I recently updated both my iTunes and my iPod. Now I have iTunes 12.0.1 and I have iOS 8.1.2 When I sync my music, either manually or automatically, the information appearing on my iPod is wrong. If I sync an artist that has 5 albums with songs reaching into the 100's, the iPod will read that it has 1 album with 4 songs. I even watched iTunes go through and copy the songs onto it but it doesn't show properly.
Sometimes, I will uncheck and check the artists then sync, and the album covers are missing. It happens to some of my artists and I even went through the process of backing it up from an older backup and it still won't work. One album has three songs but when I search the iPod for the missing ones, they're there but aren't showing up in the album. It just bothers me when half of the cover images are gone and it doesn't say the correct information nor show all of my songs. For artwork:
http://www.mcelhearn.com/deleting-the-itunes-album-artwork-cache-folder-may-reso lve-problems-with-album-art-displaying/
Also:
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. -
Elements 11 organizer shows correct white balance in thumbnails but when increased to full screen or in slide show changes white balance to tungsten. Photos where shot in raw and in auto or flash white balance. any suggestions out there?
Figured it out, if the raw default setting has the wb on 3000 (or tungsten) the slide show uses adobe raw to convert so they all showed blue LOL

I have a Power Query that i have used for few weeks, successfully, but occasionally requires being run a few times to return records. Just lately it seems to require run more than a few times to make it work.
When it doesn't return records , it seems to connects and start retrieving data, but returns only randomly like 100 - 200 rows with 1 error. The error doesn't have any message. So its hard to troubleshoot from that perspective.
Query appends two other large and merges in a few others. The data sources are either csv files, Sharepoint Lists and tables in workbook.
I haven't identified anything in terms of environment or query changes that might cause this.
When it finally does retrieve all records, it might be after i have done the following things, but i can't say for certain exactly what did the trick:
* to run query multiple times
*maybe simply changing anything in query resolves issue
* making upstream queries (that are merged or appended into this query) to Not Load to worksheet or model, eg just have connection
I'd think this type of error and situation while not common is encountered by others.
Does this ring a bell for anyone, and if so, can you please shed some light on the reasons and resolutions for this?
Thanks! If you click on "1 error" it should show the editor with a query that will select the rows with errors. This unfortunately might not show all errors for various reasons, but you should try it.
If that doesn't work, here's an example of how to retrieve error details.
Suppose the following query:
= Table.FromRecords({[A="B", B="C" + 1]})
Notice how we're using the + operator with a string and number. This will result in an error.
I can create a custom column that uses the 'try' operator over the B column. This returns a record with details which I then expand to retrieve the message.
let
Source = Table.FromRecords({[A="B", B="C" + 1]}),
#"Added Custom" = Table.AddColumn(Source, "Custom", each try [B]),
#"Expand Custom" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(#"Added Custom", "Custom", {"HasError", "Error"}, {"Custom.HasError", "Custom.Error"}),
#"Expand Custom.Error" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(#"Expand Custom", "Custom.Error", {"Message"}, {"Custom.Error.Message"})
in
#"Expand Custom.Error"
Let me know how this works for you.

Cannon Send Mail (user name and password are incorrect) but they are correct
My mom just got a new phone and I setup iCloud, but it will not send email, it says
cannot send mail. The user name/ password for iCloud are incorrect, but they are correctI just found this so I answered my own question
http://www.apple.com/asia/support/icloud/systemstatus/
iCloud: Mail & Notes - Users Affected: <1% 13/04/2012 01:41 SGT Users may be unable to send or receive mail. Users can still access Mail on their Mac, PC, iOS device, or at iCloud.com. Normal service will be restored ASAP. -
My email storage show 13.3GB used but I only have about 20 emails in my inbox with no attachments. I assume it's memory cache that's clogging my phone. Do I need to backup and restore to get rid of all of it??
There is nothing wrong with the OS update.
Delete ALL your email accounts.
Restart Playbook
Put the accounts back and ensure they are all set with PUSH ON. Manual (push off) will burn battery.
Similarly delete your wifi connections and add back when required.
Turn off wifi is not connected to wifi.
Any "hunting for connection" in email or wifi will burn up battery. -
Firefox saves my password but not my user name
I am a web developer and the website that I have built requires the user to log in to access it. Once the user logs in, they are prompted to have firefox remember their credentials like normal. If they say yes, it creates a record in the saved passwords section (tools>options>security>saved passwords) but the username field is blank. If you click show passwords the password is saved along with the URL...just no user name.
This site is using SSL if that matters. Any ideas?Do you have a live test case that we can use?
If not, report that to the Mozilla developers thru Bugzilla.

4 members of my family use the same Apple ID but different user names
Is this a potential problem w privacy etc?Since the Apple ID does not have a username, I suppose you mean different e-mail-adresses?
In theory, this is not a problem, but of course it can be difficult if you want to keep things separated. For example, logging in with you Apple ID will automatically set up iCloud and sync your calendar, reminder, notes, mails etc. You can disable this syncing on your daughter's devices, but then they won't be able to use functionalities unless they create their own accounts (for example set up another email account). I think (but I am not 100% on this) they will be able to create reminders/notes etc. locally on the iphone.
If you mean app-wise or legal-wise: No, this is not an issue. You can use your Apple ID and the apps you bought on up to five different devices. Still, for simplicities sake and to give everyone their share of privacy I personally would suggest different IDs for everyone. -
Yahoo mail remebers my password but not the user name. I've checked the remember box.
I've checked the remember box but Firefox is remembering the password but is not remembering the user name when I sign in to my email account. I'm not having sign in trouble with IE nor am I having trouble signing in on my laptop with either Firefox or IE, so the problem would seem to be with this computer.
* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
* To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting <b>Firefox will: Use custom settings for history</b>
* Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions. -
SharePoint group containing AD security group - Check Permissions does not show correct information
I'm seeing a problem with SharePoint 2013 groups that contain Active Directory security groups. When using the Check Permissions feature to see what permissions a specific user has, it does not reflect the correct permissions for a user inside of the AD
security group. This occurs when checking permissions on a site, library, list or folder. When a user is added as a direct member of the SharePoint group it lists their proper permissions. I should note that the users ability to access the site or list works
properly and coincides with the SP/AD group the user belongs to. It's only the Check Permissions that doesn't work. This does not happen with SharePoint 2010 and the Check Permissions tool is very useful. Any ideas? It's not wrong, it is expected behavior and working as designed. Until a user logs into the SharePoint site that is granted access via AD group, the user is not going to show under 'check permissions' as having access. SharePoint must have a record of the
user in the UIL in order to validate their access.
You're free to file an RFC with Microsoft, but the monetary impact to you must be extremely high in order for this behavior to be changed.
