Sculpture morph pad-How do I get the red ball?

I just worked my way thru the Sculpture tutorial, creating a pad. Everything works except that I'm not getting the red ball in the morph pad. I do see it on other presets, but not with the sound I made from the default patch. How do I get the red ball?

Nice work. To activate the red ball, you need to activate the Morph Envelope Parameters. It's the area underneath the morph pad. Across the top there are options: "Mode", "Time Scale", "Sustain Mode". Click and hold under Mode where it says "Off". You'll get a menu of options, select "Pad only" and the red ball appears. Or you can edit the actual morph envelope to the other options.

I don't think the password will matter, because you can't use anything on the iPod or in iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
The simple software "lock" used on iPods should not prevent you from off-loading the song files. Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your iTunes library. Then, you can do a Restore on the iPod to give it a fresh start and sync it (and the iPod touch) as desired.
NOTE: For songs purchased by you from the iTunes Store, you can also re-download them to your computer at no cost, from the iTunes Store Purchased screen. The link to Purchased is on the iTunes Store Home screen, under QUICK LINKS.

When I double click on a photo, rather than the edit button appearing, it simply toggles between Edit and Organize views. I have checked "change to edit view" when a photo is double clicked in the preferences window.

When you select a picture and then double click (open in edit view) or select the edit button below the picture the menu at the bottom of the page changes to show the editing options.
The edit button is always displayed under the window along with import, organize etc.

Yes, you'll need a client-side script to do fade-in/fade-out fx. Look at jQuery Superfish.
