Sculpture Object Automation

I want to make changes to the position of object 1 and 3, and make changes to the strength of object 3 during my project.
First thing I tried was using Automap Server and Novation midi controller, map expression pedal to object 1 location, a slider for object  3 strength, a knob for object 3 position. Recorded in Latch mode. While played, I could hear effect of moving the knobs, but played back in Read mode, no change in sound
Then I looked at the automation settings for object strength and location and saw you need to set morph points with different positions.
Example: Point A has object 1 position 45, Point C position 5
I created object location A and C automation tracks for object 1.
Tried criss-crossing lines, keeping one track at 0 and moving the other from 0 to 100. Nothing moving
Mode buttons beneath morph pad: Pad on Env off

Use the first one on the list "MorphPnt 0 Object position"

  • Business Object - Automation

    Hi,
I'm have a dashboard where my data's are coming from different team. The different teams are sending data thru email. So, i'm collecting the data and implement into the dashboard manually.
Is there any possible ways to do automation in BO instead of feeding data manually each time in dashboard.
I have did Semi automation, i loaded all the data into access db which i have received from mails from different team. Then i have created universe and connceted to that access db. so thru by query browser, i connected to universe and mapped all the datas in dashboard. So data will get refresh automatically.
But instead of loading all datas manually each and every time, is there any possible to do automation in BO or Xcelsius.
Can anyone give suggestion on this. How to avoid email datas and how we can laod data autoamtically into database.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

You have to automate this before it gets to BO. Collecting data via emails is obsolete.
give your users mobile apps connected to your backend DB for automated , up to date data storage, then connect BO to that DB for proper reporting.
BO purpose is to report of the data already collected. Collection of data is not BO's purpose.

  • No recording of MIDI Controllers in MIDI Track Automation

Surely we need to have MIDI CC recordable as track automation on a MIDI instrument track just the same as it can be recorded to faders in audio Instrument tracks via a transformer. I know there are work arounds like recording to standard object automation then moving to track automation but I want to see all my recorded modulations at once as track automation for all my Logic instruments and MIDI instruments without wasting any time.

This gets asked at least once a week.
From about ten posts underneath this one:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2095452&tstart=0
Also is there a way to record all of v-drum midi data into separate tracks?
Record into one track, then use the Split/Demix by Note Pitch function to put each MIDI note into it's own track.

  • Data Services (BODI) password file synchronization by external application

    Hello,
Question: Is there any batch/shell process that update the BODS password file?
Issue: An external system (P-Synch) change the developper repository passwords every 60 days. The passwords have to be changed manually on the BODS server or account get locked.
Objective: Automation of BODI password syncrhonization (reset) on the server.
My dream: application_cmd -Repsoitory -Account -Password
    Thank you,

There's not a good option for that.
In the past, there was ABC Amber IPD converter which could extract or convert data from backup files to CSV or text files, but ABC is no longer available and I don't know of another IPD file extractor.
I don't know of another option. Let's see if someone else might.

  • Error in IIS Configuration while Server Diagostic

    Hi Guys,
While running the Server Diagnostic, I get error on IIS Configuration Step.
    X Osoft virtual directory
X Cannot get Osoft virtual directory object: Automation error The System cannot find the path specified -Incorrect
I am not able to send the the data to the server also. when I try to send the data it says..." an error occured while communicating with the web server"
Not sure though that this error is because of Osoft virtual Directory...
    Any one faced this problem?

    RaciMishra,
Please check out SAP Knowledge Base article 1532499.  Doing this fixed my problem with installing BPC 7.5 SP07 on my Win 2008 R2 .NET server and all my lights now show up green for the Diagnostic screen.
    Symptom
When running BPC server diagnostics, the following error is displayed on the IIS Configuration item:
"Cannot get OSoft virtual directory object: Automation error. The system cannot find the path specified. - Incorrect."
    Resolution
The resolution to this problem is to disable User Account Control on Windows Server.
    To turn off UAC
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, click User Accounts.
In the User Accounts window, click User Accounts.
In the User Accounts tasks window, click Turn User Account Control on or off.
If UAC is currently configured in Admin Approval Mode, the User Account Control message appears. Click Continue.
Clear the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box, and then click OK.
Click Restart Now to apply the change right away, or click Restart Later and close the User Accounts tasks window.

  • Why does my Fieldpoint OPC server time out?

I'm using Fieldpoint Explorer 3.01 with 1600 ethernet modules. I'm using Wellspring Solutions' Object Automation as an OPC client to read and write to I/O. Everything works fine on one computer running Win NT 4.0. Another computer, however, is running NT Server 4.0, and the OPC reads/writes from Object Automation work for exactly 1759 seconds (or approx. 121 minutes), and then the Fieldpoint Server "times out", and the only way to get it to work again is by shutting down and restarting Object Automation, assumedly this somehow reinitializes communication with the server. This is a repeatable error that occurs at exactly the same time, every time. This only happens with the National Instruments Fieldpoint OPC server (I'm
using several) on one of the machines. I tried reinstalling the Fieldpoint OPC Server several times to no avail. I've used other OPC clients (from OPTO22, or Rockwell, Matrikon, Kepware) and can't communicate until Object Automation is shutdown and restarted. Any help or ideas on how to further troubleshoot would be appreciated, thanks.

Aaron, attached are 3 log files generated in a test that I ran. The test used Object Automation to turn on and off a relay channel (OPC item: Common FP Res\FP-RLY-420 @4\Channel 1) every 10 seconds. I used the Matrikon OPC delegator with the OPTO22 Test Client (written by Rockwell) to monitor the channel at the same time (the delegator would NOT work with Object Automation directly). The OPCDelegatorOPTO22TestClient.txt file is the log file for this client. Basically, the test started around 13:07 and lasted the usual 121 minutes. Then the OPC writes stopped around 15:08, at which time I tried to manually read and write to the channel using the OPTO22 client, generating the errors towards the end of the logfile. Incidentally, I don't k
now what the errors at the beginning of the file are, but there are no noticable problems until after 121 minutes. I then tried to use the Kepware OPC test client with delegator to read and write to the channel but this also did not work, and the logfile OPCDelegatorKepwareTestClient.txt is for that test. The other logfile (OAlogfile.txt) is the logfile generated by OA, see the end of file for the error. They should all be text files, not sure why one of them is listed as binary below. Let me know if this helps or if there is anything else I can provide.

  • Call a servlet file from SSMS

How to call a Servlet file from a Stored Procedure?

You need to make an http request to the web server where the servlet is running. To do this you have two options:
Using object automation stored procedures (sp_OA* procedures) to create and call MSXML2.XMLHttp COM objects.
Create a CLR stored procedure that uses HttpWebRequest class.
On the other side. Making web request from stored procedures is the last resort. Have you considered other alternatives to solve the bussines problem at hand?
For example Service Broker can be an alternative for that kind of problems. The stored procedure sends a message to the queue. An external program reads messages as it arrives to the queue and process them. The external program can be written in Java and
can run in the web server where the servlet runs.

  • Using iSetup for day-to-day change management

We are an existing 11.5.10.2 e-business shop with many instances and many release flows. We've done a little bit of foundation object automation with fndload (just conc programs and request sets). We're contemplating using iSetup for day-to-day migration of of other foundation objects from instance to instance. We have very strict segregation of duties so the folks who do the migrations are not very oracle knowledgable. Thus developers must create detailed instructions for entering the foundation objects, possibilities for error are higher than we'd like, entry is very time consuming, etc.
I've noticed that the general advertised thrust of iSetup is for new implementations. Is there anything wrong with the concept of using if for new/changed foundation objects (conc prog, req set, responsibilities, profile options, dff's, menus, and anything else it can do)? Any thoughts on pros and cons of using iSetup versus scripting fndload for each object?

    Hi,
iSetup can be used for both fresh implementations as well as existing ones similar to what you have described in your question.
For some of the setups viz. Foundation objects, iSetup does internally use FNDLOAD.
The advantage of using iSetup vs. Scripting is:
Reporting and the Load Orchestrating mechanism which is built into iSetup. For e.g within Foundation Selection Set available in iSetup - KFF, DFF, MENU, RESP etc. Loading sequence is managed by iSetup. You could also generate Comparison Reports for before and after Load etc. which would not be possible if you used scripting alone.
iSetup also supports native APIs written as per iSetup fwk specs and they are more rich in terms of features viz. Filtering, Transform etc.
    Thanks,

  • Admin Console Tasks not visible

    Dear Experts,
We've installed BPC 7.5 NW version. Post the  installation, we are trying to log in as system administrator to create  a new application set based on default "Appshell". But the in the action pane no admin console tasks are appearing although administration for web is appearing. What can be the issue here? I have also performed the system diagnostics after running the same am getting an error "Cannot get Osoft Virtual Directory Object: Automation Error system cannot find the path specified".
Help on this matter is appreciated.

    Hi Alok,
Thanks for your prompt answer. However, the problem is that the path drive:\WINDOWS\microsoft.net\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files\osoft\7ab1b945\cd624ca5\assembly\dl2\12adf122\0053d573_c606c701 doesnot exist. As in, under Temporary ASP.NET Files there is no folder called Osoft.
    We have put the Antixsslibrary.dll under <system drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Corporation\Anti-Cross Site Scripting Library V1.5\Library\.NET 1.1.
Also we have only Microsoft .NET framework 1.1.
Kindly let us know what can be the possible remedy.
One more thing, we have not installed BPC for Office client. Will that cause some issues??
    Thanks in advance.

  • Can Automation be used to send User-defined CC's to Environment objects?

Hi, this is probably a really dumb question but I'll ask it anyway:
I've bought a controller-environment for a synth (Alphajuno2, PG300 programmer) for Logic, the faders in the environment layer use sysex to communicate with the synth.
Apparently it is possible to map an external midi-controller to these environment-faders, and that's all and fine, but what I'm after is a method of using automation to control the environment-faders. How would I go about doing it?
I've only ever really automated some volume changes or plugin parameter changes, I've not yet automated faders in the environment, so how would I go about doing it?
Would I create a fader which I'd link to the sysex-sending fader, and automate the fader, or maybe an environment-monitor (and add it to the arranger) and somehow configure a set of CC#'s to be automated with that arranger object, and then just cable them up to the various Sysex-sending faders (I do know enough to be able to set the input of those sysex-faders to match the CC#'s which the automation would be sending).
Is this kind of "User-defined CC#'s in Automation" possible? How should I go about it?
Message was edited by: esaruoho to further clarify it

Is it just because there is currently no way whatsoever of Automation CC, and I should have known to use Hyper Draw to talk to an Environment object directly, which would then be connected to the Faders of choice?

  • BEx Error: Automation error: Object invoked has disconnected from clients

    Hi,
We have a user here that attempts to access a query in BEx (MS Excel), but receives this error message:
    - Runtime error '-2147417848 (80010108)':

    Any ideas.

Please go through the OSS note 857360..
    https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=857360&_NLANG=E
    This talks about your error..
    Solution
    1) Replace the RFC library
    librfc32.dll
on the client PC with a current version.
    620: Version >=  6206.6.1938.4727  (620x.x.x.4727).
    640: Version >=  6400.3.79.4740    (640x.x.x.4740).
There is a version of the 620 and 640 librfc32.dll in the attachments: and we recommend that you use Version 640 (compatible with SAPGUI 620) (see below).
620 Version: Download librfc32.rar. Rename it librfc32.exe. This file extracts itself automatically.
640 Version: Download librfc32.zip. You can use WinZip to extract this file.
    Note:
It seems that newer (delivered) versions of 6.20 librfc32.dll do not contain this fix. In this case, you can also use the 6.40 librfc32.dll. For reasons of compatibility, you should use the following Microsoft DLLs that are available on the PC for this: msvcr71.dll and to be msvcp71.dll (see Note 684106).

  • How to get windows form object of a MMC snapin node using MMC automation object model

    Hello,
I am using automation object model for an existing mmc file and just trying to traverse all nodes of it. And i am able to do so.
My query is : how can i get the access of windows form object of a particular node . Windows form is present in result pane of a node, i want to get access of that so that i can perform some automation on that form.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa815049(v=vs.85).aspx
I found that if OCX control is in result view of any node, then "view object -> control object property" returns
the automation interface supplied by the control in the result view.
However, if result view is HTML view then how to get the automation interface of that result
    view.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sumit

    Hi Sumit,
I read the link you provide above. It seems that when you want to achieve your target by using MMC automation
object model, you need to use codes. Based on the programming language, if use VB, I suggest you post the question in
VB Forum. If you want to use C#, may post in
    C# Forum.
In addition, there is an answered question, may help you to find the correct forum.
    MMC development forum?

Since, it’s more related to development. We may can’t provide some more detailed information. Thanks for your
    understanding.
    Hope this helps.
