Sculpture waveshaper in the editor?

I'm using Logic Pro X; in Sculpture, the only way I can turn the Waveshaper on or off is from the Controls screen, not the Editor screen. Has anyone else encountered this?

Yes.. It seems when they wrote the User Guides/Instrument Docs... they often forgot to mention the need for all the Advanced Tools to be turned on...
The only mention of the Advanced Tools Preference settings that I can find in the whole of the Instruments PDF

...relates to editing the EXS24....
Note: The Instrument Editor is available only when Advanced Editing is enabled in your host application preferences.
Maybe the 'Garageband Pro' mode.... (Logic with it's advanced features disabled) was a last minute thing..... and so, that change was never fully documented correctly...

How can I get the edited value from the editor in JTable

I have a JTextField added as an editor to a cell in JTable.
I value gets changed when I press enter.
but in actionPerformed of the JTextField when I say
String txtEditorValue = txtEditor.getText();
I am getting the old value. How can I get the edited value? Thanks.

Hi,
I guess, your understanding of how JTable works together with its models is not good enough - for example the method getTableCellEditorComponent(...) of the TableCellEditor interface is used to get the component, that should be used as editing component - its second parameter is a value that should be used to setup the editing component - it is normally not the editing component itself.
JTable uses an underlying TableModel to store the cell values - if you have edited a cell, JTable gets the value of the editing component by itself and stores it in the TableModel using its setValueAt(...) method. To retrieve this data you only need to query the TableModel using row and column of this cell as parameters
say jt is your JTable, and row and column are the row and column of the cell - so to get the value, simply use
Object obj = jt.getModel().getValueAt(row,column);
if you know, that there is a String in this cell use
String str = (String) jt.getModel().getValueAt(row,column);
The editor component is used for the view of the JTable - you only want the data, which is stored in the model - you don't have to deal with the GUI components in this case.

I am using cl_gui_textedit class to get output in the form of Editor, But i need to display the TITLE in that , i tried with Function module EDIT_TEXT also.
Could any one can tell me how to get the title ?

Why does it matter, when you are editing, whether the file is .jpg or .psd or something else?

I have imported music from my ITunes in IMovie 11 but I cannot listen it. When I open the editor is ok but I just close the editor the music is muted. Can someone help me?

I am using PS elements 12 and can no longer open the editor.

I installed Elements 12 in July 2014 and have had no problems until recently.
I get two different messages depending on how I try to use the Editor.
#1 - Switching from the Organizer to the Editor I get the following error message
Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will
close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
#2 - If I open Elements directly in Windows 7, I get the following
Bitmap file was not found or is out of date. Bitmaps will be
preloaded from individual files. This message should never be
seen if the project is correctly built.
Any suggestions or solutions will be greatly appreciated.

I can no longer open an image from the organizer to the editor.

In early Dec I had a hard drive crash and had to reinstall PSE11. Everything was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. Now I cannot select an image and click on the editor button and edit the image. The editor will open but the image is not there. I've also tried to right click on the image to Edit with Photoshp Elements and Ctrl-I and the edit menu to open.
Its a real pain to have to have to go to the editor and load the image since my images are located on various hard drives on my system I have to navigate to the drive, folder, subfolder to located the image.
Is there anyway to solve this problem? Do I perhaps need to reinsall Elements?
I'm using Windows 7 (64 bit) with lastest updates

winmail.dat files usually mean the email has been sent in rich text format - you could either the person who sent it to send it in a different format e.g. plain text or HTML, or there are a few apps in the store that support it (search for winmail.date in the store).

I can no longer get the editor to open.

Everything was working great but now the editor will not open. It acts like it going to then just shuts down right away. How do i fix this?

Did you try resetting preferences?
Close Elements.
Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.

Premiere Elements 12 crashes when I try to open the editor

Well Im back and I thought all was well!!
I have successfully made a video recently after having so many problems with Premiere Elements 12 so I have left it a couple of weeks as I have been ill and I thought today "Oh I think I will make another video" so I launched the welsome screen from my shortcut and all looks well. I can go into my organizer and everything is sat there, however when I go to launch the editor...............nothing. The blue bar stays round the video and no "please wait whilst we launch the video edotor" .
In fact I just tried it again and it launched Photoshop 12 editor as I just clicked in the middle of the editor tab but nothing if I click on the "Video Editor" Tab
I closed it down and tried to click on the Video Editor from the welcome screen clicking new project but it just crashes the whole programe?

From what you wrote, Premiere Elements just remained closed while you were away from it. Right? Any chance anyone else might have
been using it and made some adjustments? If not, then let us continue...
1. Let us try opening the program from the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file.
Local Disk C
Program Files
Adobe
Adobe Premiere Elements 12
and then scroll down in the Adobe Premiere Elements 12 Folder until you get specifically to Adobe Premiere Elements.exe.
(You do not want the Adobe Premiere Elements 12.exe one).
After you get to the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file, right click it, select and click on Run As Administrator. Then double
click the file and determine if that opens the program to the Premiere Elements Editor.
2. If I remember correctly didn't you have to uninstall the antivirus before the program would work? If so, maybe this time,
let us see if we can get away with just disabling "Real Time Protection" in the control area for your antivirus program.
Please try the above and, in the meanwhile, I will be preparing a check list for troubleshooting.

I bought a new computer and reinstalled my elements 12...when i first loaded it, it asked me to license or done...i accidently clicked done and now it won't run at all...how do i fix this...i keep uninstalling and reinstalling it and the editor side will

so how do i fix this...i have reinstalled it many times now and even went and downloaded the 13 trial version just to do the project i was trying to work on...

Once I clicked the Done button the program shut down. So when I restarted it and clicked on editor, the timer thing happened on the editor side with the cursor timer also spinning for a few seconds and then both timer displays stopped and nothing happened. I can click on the manage photos side and it opens and functions but not the editor. There are no error messages. I can uninstall the program and reinstall it and the exact same thing happens over and over. Elements 13 loads and works perfect every time. Maybe i'm missing something such as if I have a 32 or 64 bit system and which one i'm downloading because i had trouble finding the program to redownload. Maybe if you just get me alink to the american version of elements 12 32/94 bit version it will work great i bet that is the problem actually. Because I originally did a trial version last year of 12 and then later bought it. So if you can give me a link to download a good version of the program that might actually solve it. Because if i have a 32 bit program download and my system is a 64 bit system...that might actually account for this issue...since after I downloaded it did not have a chance to run it and see if it worked...

PSE trial 12 installed just fine but when i start the editor it opens and shuts down after about 2 seconds without an error, the only thing that appears is a message with 'continue trial'.
I have windows 8.1 64 bit and i already installed the latest video drivers, intel hd 4000 and nvidia geforce 710M.
I also installed premiere elements version 12 with the same problem.
What can be the problem here, please help?

Yes, its a shame. I have also contacted lenovo support hoping that they can sort out this problem. However, first response from them was 'contact your internet service provider since internet connectivity goes down'! :-/ I am hoping I have been able to get through to them now at least about where the problem lies. I wonder if anyone has tried using the laptop with the same broadcom wireless adapter with some other version of OS (linux, windows 7 etc.) and whether they still face the same problem. I haven't tried that yet. If this is just an OS / driver issue I hope someone somewhere is working on a fix! If not, I guess the only other solution would be to get an external USB wifi adapter but that is not something one would want to do when you buy a brand new Lenovo laptop. This was a big let down for me.

How do you stack different photos in the editor layers pallet? I can get different photos in the editor, but I cannot figure out how to get different photos into the layers pallet at the same time. Please help!!!!!

Just to clarify, you can never see the layers panel for more than one photo at a time. The suggestions you got will show all the photos, but because they are now combined as layers in one image.
If you want to see more photos in the editor at once, go to the preferences>general and turn on Allow Floating Documents, then go to Window>Images>Float all in windows, then Cascade or Tile.
But you will still only see the layers panel for the image that is active at the moment.

How-to automatically center images in the Editor View at opening?

Hello all,
Every time I open a pic in the Editor (using CTRL+I) from a pic in the Organizer, the pic is in a separate window aligned on the left of the Editor workspace.
I have to drag the pic up to the center where I get the blue lines around it so that it occupies the center of the workspace.
It seems to me that this behaviour has started with PE 8, I recall (maybe wrongly) not having this behaviour in PE 7.
Does anybondy know how to configure the whole shemabang so that a pic that is opened occupies the fill Editor workspace and is centered?

Very dissapointed so far by this adobe soft, that I just installed a few hours ago. At this point it is worthless and no way I can use it like that . After installation I went directly into the editor and right away I saw that the software was very sluggish with my cursor dragging . After clicking on a top menu (File) the menu bar open (5 sec.)and if I scroll it down I do not see the blue color following my cursor, and if I click at the location in the bar of my cursor it takes a few second before it respond. I am also using the following adobe softwares that works flawlessly : Photoshop CS5.5 extended; Bridge; Camera Raw; Lightroom 4.2. My computer uses an Asus P7P55-E Premium motehrboard with Win 7 pro 64 bits with an intel I 860 2.8 mhz and 8 gigs of RAM. All my adobe softs are 64 bits, except for elements 11. After seeing that, I installed the upgrades without any visible problems. Even after that nothing has improved.
I have to say that I have quite a few softwares installed that all work perfectly such has Topaz bundle; Photomatix pro, etc. In fact of all my softwares this is the only one that is giving me troubles.
I hope somebody has a solution for this extremely poor behavior.

I think you are using Win7, if yes please try the following
Right click on the PSE icon and select Run as administrator
Now try to use it, check if there is any change or not.
