Sd card for htc evo

my sd card for my cell phone doesnt seem to work i inserted it into my computer wont work it wont read it it keeps asking to format it thing is i have pictures & videos that wont show up anymore is there a software that i can buy to recover my sd card?

If it used to work in both the phone and the computer, and works in neither, now, then the file system is probably corrupt. Formatting the card should fix this, but you'll lose the data on it. Best Buy can probably recover the data, but it won't be free.
As an aside, for a card (or any flash memory) that becomes corrupt for no apparent reason, even after formatting it, don't put anything important on it for a while. I had a flash drive that corrupted on me, I formatted it and used it for a few days, and the data corrupted again. Tried it again, same result, so it was relegated to garbage duty. Basically, the corruption could be a software issue (issue caused by software when reading/writing from the card) or an issue with the 'hardware' of the sd card.

Hello, I was really excited to use the Adobe Photoshop Touch App for my Android Device. I purchased the HTC EVO View 4G for Sprint and I tried to find the App but I does not seem to be compatible with my device! This is a HUGE disappointment :(. I believe it is not compatible because #1 the screen resolution is 1024 x 600 and #2 a screen size of 7". I chose this device because it has the best specifications in its portable size, not to mention the pressure sensitive stylus . Please don't leave this category out! Adobe_air installation for htc evo v android

i am experiencing difficulty in unlocking/opening the adobe_air application. i have a htc evo v 4g android. i downloaded the spplication from google play store, i believe the application succrssfully downloaded but i cannot unlock/open it for it to run. please help me i am despairing

Palm needs a new device for summer on sprint after HTC Evo announcement.

First, I am a loyal Palm fan and believe web OS is the best mobile OS on the market to date. No one is close to the ease of use of the OS and the pure genius of getting updates out and innovating and improving so quickly. With that said, if you know about the HTC Evo and its specs, you tend to think the Pre is a drag. A webOS device with a 4.3 inch screen would be quite the experience and with a better camera for nice HD video and HDMI out, it would be awesome with the new editing feature. The most important thing is the processing speed. If webOS was super slick with a snapdragon processor it would be a no brainer to pick this phone over any phone currently on the market. Palm if you are listening, the palm pre was a great device and the pre plus only made it better. It needs to go further and quickly.

+1. I feel the WebOS is far superior to Android but Palm is falling behind. I recently added a patch that makes my Pre way faster and is even more stable than without it. Many of us that got our Pre will be up for our Premier upgrade in June and we need Palm and Sprint to give us something to keep up us using the Pre. With other carriers now carrying the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus why can't Sprint carry the same. Maybe even a 4g version. At this point if Palm has not even launched a rumor about a next generation Pre on the Sprint network I may be jumping on the Evo bandwagon. I hope this thread is read and taken seriously. There is huge hype on the Evo and Palm needs to attack.

I am starting this post as a hope to actually get some sort of status update on the HTC EVO 4G LTE release.
I think I speak for the techno philes out there that are waiting for and pre ordered the device. Back on the 17th we were disappointed with the information of the delay. As with most of the techno philes in the world I have been following the news and blogs surrounding this situation.
On Sunday we were greeted by the news that customs had released some of the devices, and than the news that Sprint would be shipping the phones by May 24th. Than in one blog I saw this statement which concerned me.

I think we would all appreciate some sort of statement from Best Buy. Some information with anything would be better than living in a vacuum of information.
Those that have pre ordered through Best Buy, and read this forum are loyal and avid Best Buy customers and to be honest I think we deserve some information.
I don't mean to rude or short, but if it is true that direct Sprint customers receive their phones this week and we are left waiting days or even weeks for the device, something needs to be rethought.
Again this is a plea for information more than anything.

I don't think they know... I am betting HTC had the Sprint shipments move to the front of the line and they got the first batches of phones that cleared customs... I read somewhere that they test one phone from every box/case shipped in before clearing them. All I know is my preorder with Best Buy still says back ordered and the preauthorization on my credit card is gone now (but those usually go away in 10 days anyway) but since Sprint isn't taking any more orders right now and no one else has them in stock all you can do is WAIT.... Sucks but I bet no one at Best Buy knows a true date and they don't want people to start canceling...

I'm wanting to upgrade the video card and was wondering if there were any suggestions as to a good card for under $60. I just need something equivalient to "NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT or ATI Radeon X1950 Pro" or better. I just got Star Wars the Old Republic and my factory istalled graphics card is not powerful enough. I'm a bit confused on what type of graphics card my desktop takes. I did read that it has

Would a PCI Express 2.0 fit in one of these?

Dual Monitor video cards for HP Pro 3400

I am looking to add a 2nd monitor to my HP Pro 3400 MT and want to make sure I get a video card that will not have any compatibility issues. I'm not doing any gaming so I don't think I need anything super fancy and I would prefer not to have to upgrade the power supply.
So my questions are:
Is the HP Pro 3400 MT compatible witha PCI Express 3.0 card? 2.1 ?
How much power draw from the video card would require me to upgrade the power supply (my PC is stock, no added peripherals). Is there a way for me to determine how much is being currently (no pun intended) drawn?
Are there any drawbacks to usnig the built-in video card for 1 monitor and a new, single-ouput card for the other (vs a dual-output card) ?
Anything else I need to consider when deciding on a new video card?

Downloaded new 4.0 today and decided to download and sync mobile to my HTC EVO 4g which seems to work but how do I make Firefox the homepage on phone?

Have had Firefox for years on my mac and works great. Downloaded today new 4.0 on desktop mac OS 10.6.7 and works great. Have sync and decided to follow instructions to download Firefox to my HTC EVO 4G. Seemed to download correctly and did get the 3 part key and entered fine. Firefox icon shows up with icon in list of All apps and will work if clicked upon.
But, how do I make Firefox my home page on my phone? When I select magnifying glass key on glass I go to standard google homepage I've had since day one. I'd like to go directly to Firefox as I do on the desktop.

Oops, I forgot a step between 7 and 8 ... before syncing the iPhone I need to explicitly send the document back to iTunes on the iPhone, or the changes won't come over at all ...
and then one more thing ... Numbers on iOS does NOT recognize a number of key features of the OSX app, such as conditional formatting ... so after editing my document on iOS and syncing it back to OSX on my Mac, all of those settings are lost (no more conditional formatting, have to do it all over again)
What am I doing wrong ?

I've been waiting for a warranty replacement handset for months now.. It took two plus months to find out my Touch Pro couldn't be repaired.. I was told I would receive a call when the Touch Pro 2 was available as a replacement. Sprint stores got it a month later but store 554 never got it. I was frustrated but kept cool in the meantime checking in monthly. A couple of months later the Sprint EVO was announced.. I immediately went in and spoke with the manager. As usual she was a pleasure but there was a catch. She said that I couldn't receive one until they can sell them without contract. I'm sure she had her reasons (pre-orders?) but has been going on now for a very long time. She's always taken care of me and everyone (4 Sprint activations/ 1 upgrade) I've brought to the store but where is my EVO?
