SD card not being read by computer (Windows 7)
Sorry if this is not the correct forum to post in. I didn't know what forum to go in for this help. I inserted my SD card into my SD drive on my computer. I was hoping a window would pop up letting me know it read it, and I would be able to upload my photos to the computer. Nothing happened. So I tried a few times and nothing happened. So I searched on the internet for some answers. Some people were saying that even if your SDHC card goes into the slot, the computer won't read it. I am using Windows 7 by the way. They also that if it is over 2gb the computer won't read it. I want to know where I go to download any driver updates? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try one first then test it.
A wrong driver will not push through so in that way you won't be installing the wrong one.

I'm baffled by my issue.
Two cameras (Optura 20, DVX100) not being read by my eMac.
1 Sony cam reads fine.
Only recently, after 3 years of my Optura being used as a deck on my eMac, decides it doesn't want to communicate with my eMac, and another G5 tower.
-tried disconnecting all other fire wire and usb cords
-tried different fire wire cords
-tried logging in as a different user
-tried different inputs
I'm affriad there's a softwhere instalation i made on my comp that is interfearing with reading these DV devises.
I tried trashing previous Quick Time pkg files in my Library/Recipts...nothing.
Even my System Profiler has a hard time trying to read the signal when my cameras are plugged in. It won't even read an external HD if the camera is plugged in.
If there are any other suggestions out there...
I'M STUMPPED!!
Once I figured it was a software issue, the same issue occured when I tried plugging into a different G5 tower.
I'm trying to think if settings on the cameras are blocking/causing the issue. Still can't make sense of it all.
Do you keep "DV Out" off or on?

Ipod nano not being seen by computer, windows, 2000...
after over a week on the phone and attemting to get my computer to "see" my nano, and not being able to do so. and after going thru every trouble shooting guide given to me by apple i did get my nano to work.
I used every usb port but two, the two off the mother board, when i used one of them the nano took off and worked liked it was susposed to do, so...... you people who have this problem or know others pass the word use the mother board usb ports. nothing else.......i resolved my computer, windows 2000, not seeing by i pod nano, by using the usb ports from the mother board. use no other usb ports, not usb hubs, or other circurt ports, just mother ports..................

Ipod only sgows the logo and is not being read by computer
i recently put song onto my ipod but now when i turn it on it shows a black screen and the ipod logo only. it does not change from that. what do i do?
You may need to reset it. Put the hold switch to the OFF/White position. Now toggle it ON/orange then back off again. Then press and hold both the MENU and center buttons on the iPod and hold them for a good 15 seconds or so. Your iPod should reboot starting with the Apple Logo screen.
If it doesn't work the first time, give it a second or third go. Sometimes it takes a few/several tries.

If that doesn't work, you may need to restore it, but to do that, you may need to put it into disc mode...

Ipod not being read by computer
My computer (PC) isn't reading my iPod nano, but other computers are. In the mean time, my computer is able to read my mom's iPod nano (they are the exact same thing). I've tried different chords, I've updated and restarted my computer, but I don't know what's wrong with it. It's quite stressful because I've been trying to update my iPod for a while and haven't been able to.

I have an iphone 5s and it is synced to itunes and works fine. previously I have downloaded audiobooks to my wifes 6th gen nano using this account - now I tunes does not recognize the device and also it seems that it is not being read by the computer?

I just updated my iPhone 5 from virgin mobile to ios7, and upon the normal setup i find that i my sim card is not being read; apparently now it isn't supported. please someone help me.
my iphone is and has been locked to one carrier. all i've done is a software update to ios7, like all the other updates since i bought the phone when it was released. same carrier, same sim card. :/

My Ipod touch is not being read by Itunes?
I get this message about and Iphone (not being read) but my ipod touch just being read. It's a 32GB model.
It was reading the first few times, and then it stopped all of a sudden.
I also attempted to follow the instructions for getting help (No luck, uninstalling the Itunes resteting the Ipod, nothing seems to be 'working'.Did you follow the instructions here:

When plugging in an iPad in Apple Configurator, it is not being read under USB Connected so I can't update it. The iPhoto window opens up and reads the photos on the iPad, so it is connecting to the computer. Earlier today I wasn't having any problems. I have shut down the iPad and the computer and started over, but that didn't help. Any ideas on how to get the system to read the iPad so I can update the apps on it?
Hi, is the problem just to update your apps on your iPad? Here is what you should check. Is the iTunes on your computer updated to the latest version? Does your iPad needs to be updated? Do you have enough storage on your iPad to do the update? On your device is your iCloud back up checked?
Go to Settings - iCloud - Backup/Storage - see if its checked, and try unchecking it before connecting it to the computer.

Ipod not being read and freezing
When I plug my ipod into my computer, it goes to "do not disconnect" but not the flashing do not disconnect. Its frozen. My computer wont read it. So I unplug it and its frozen. I know how to restart it but that doesnt help me from when it freezes again once I hook it up. How do I stop it from freezing and not being read. Thanks
i am having a similar problem with my 4g 20G
it freezes when i try to update. i thought maybe it was the latest version of itunes i recently installed but i reverted back to an old updater version and itunes 6 and while i was able to get 300 songs on the ipod without freezing, when i tried to put the rest of my library on there it freezes. i've even tried to put as little as 15 songs on at a time and that still freezes the ipod.

It is very buggy and frustrating to use.
I have my Music library on a QNAP NAS, which is as reliable as they come.
System notifications make it not save changes. It also does not do a good job of interpreting albums and artists from folders. Changes to track names are not saved, nor are tracks moved to other albums, renamed albums, changes to genre, artist
or date. It separates and merges albums/tracks without sense or reason. Some changes I've made up to 4 times, then closed WMP and re-started my machine to check if it has/hasn't saved the changes. Often it has not.
This is the first time I've used WMP in this capacity, and I do not recommend it.
