  • Runtime error R6025 message after log on to Vista - Flash Card not working

    Hi
I'm a newbie & would appreciate any advice.
I am getting a runtime error message R6025 when I log on to Windows Vista.
When I click out of the box I then get a message saying Toshiba Flash Card not working.
I cancel that and my laptop is ok except I don't know if the flashcard is working or not because I don't know what it does.
    Sorry if I sound thick
    Thanks

    Hi
I found this MS knowledge base article:
    +Description of the R6025 run-time error in Visual C++\+
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/125749
But I doubt this description would be useful for you or anyone here. It describes this error in Visual C++ and this is programming language.
However, I think you should simply reinstall the Value Added Package which you could download firstly from the Toshiba European page.
At first you have to remove the old Value Added Package from the system, then reboot the notebook and follow with new VAP installation.
    Bye

I have installed the agent 10 or 15 times and one installation has failed, no error appeared during the installation but I am having inconsistent issues with my ethernet card not working here and there. We rebooted and can log into Novell client but the login prompt did not appear for ESM client or the icon was not in the systray. Everything seems to work, besides at times (a couple times today) it terminates his ethernet card/connection. I would re-image his computer but he has several applications and it would take several hours, so I am hoping someone has an idea to fix this issue. So I was trying to figure out why he did not get the prompt to login and why it's not in the systray and it appears to not have completed the install? I checked the add/remove programs, its not listed within their, I also checked the registry and found nothing for endpoint within their, but the files are within c:\program files\novell\zenworks endpoint security.
I have also tried uninstalling it but that fails due to it "not being installed", and it will not reinstall over itself either.
I did notice that stuninstdrv.exe is running in task manager. Any help would be great...

    Thanks,

If you are searching the registry, check for the "Senforce" string. It should be at HKLM\Software\Senforce
Try running the install program for the ZSC with the following command line:
    setup.exe /V"STUNINSTALL=1"
If you've specified an uninstall password, try this one instead:
setup.exe /V"STUNINSTALL=1 STUIP=password"" (please note the double quote at the end)
Let me know if that helped you.

  • SB04100 Sound Blaster Card not working after computer rebuild

=SB0400 Sound Blaster Card not working after computer rebuildZ I did a full disk format and reinstall for a friend on a Dimension 3000, running XP SP3. There is no sound at all. Speakers are good, tested on another system. Model number on the back of the sound card is SB0400, so I assume this is an older 24 bit PCI SoundBlaster card. Although I reinstalled all drivers from Dell, I found no drivers for this. The Creative site has no listing for this model.
Computer does not seem to recognize the card. Have not opened the box yet but I assume if I were to remove and then reinstall the card it would be recognized (?) I then have to find an SB0400 driver.
Does anyone know where I can find an SB0400 driver ? Does the strategy of pulling and reinstalling the card make sense ? (I have really avoided tampering with any of the hardware on this box -- since it is not mine.)

Re: SB0400 Sound Blaster Card not working after computer rebuild? Thanks much for your response. Problem solved for now. I removed the board and then reinserted it, after which I was able to download the drivers directly. Some of my difficulty with this whole process has been ) I didn't know there was no working speaker in the computer and 2) I apparently misunderstood the BIOS settings for this. I re-set it up as an add-on board during the troubleshooting process. After loading the driver, I went back to the original setting (don't recall what it was but it was for integrated sound). The setting for integrated sound works fine, with external speakers and the new 24 bit driver. Still some noise (popping and static) but this board shares the bus with 2 other cards one of which is a wireless network card. May be a PCI latency issue but I'm reluctant to change that because the network card is a bit shaky anyway.
Everything works for now -- I'll be glad to get this particular computer out of my house !

  • HELP! - Lumia 800 memory card not working :/

My phone decided to go into the notorious restart loop - So following everyones advice on teh internet I performed a hard reset.
It loads the orange sign - then the Nokia sign - then the windows mobile sign as if the phone is about to start with the noises etc... then it decides to goto a screen says
    "MEMORY CARD NOT WORKING
Your memory card has changed, is damaged or is non-compatible.
To fix this, turn your phone off and either remove the memory card or replace it with a new compatible card. Then reset your phone to the original factory settings.
To learn how to reset your phone, refer to the owner's manual"
I also get the option to make an "emergency" call or "turn off" the phone. the volume buttons also work the volume fine aswell as the option to change the phones mode from silent to vibrate or vibrate and ring.
Tried hard reset numerous times, tried charing the phone for hours on end and trying it, tried soft resets. Basically the only options i've found.
Just to add.... Why would a phone with no memory card slot even have a message stating that the memory card is faulty and that i could even remove or replace it???
I hope someone manages to help me without having to cough up £50 excess to my insurance.
    Anyone come across this before?

Sorry, it's my standard response, but your phone doesn't work. Take it back to whoever sold it to you. It's a consumer good, consumer protection rules apply.
Your problem certainly has novelty value but if you've done the hard reset and it didn't work you're at the end of the fix it yourself stage.

  • Wireless pci card - not working under OS 9

    Hello everyone,
I very rarely post on OS 9 sub board, but I have one quick question. First off, my mac is a powerful(to me it is!) 2003 MDD dual 1.25(last before G5) and has 2GB memory with 2GB L3 cache per processor.
Now thats out of the way. I would like to know if the Belkin F5D7000 card(wireless-G 802.11g) supports working under OS 9.2.2? If Belkin does not have a driver for it, is there a generic driver I can install which would allow my wireless card to work under OS 9.2.2? Yes, I have the FW400 based system, however I might consider going with the FW800, but I would like to know really what the big differences are between the FW400 and FW800 machines?
I know the FW800 has ONE FW800 port, has a slot to support AIRPORT EXTREME card(though my machine has a PCI Belkin F5D7000 wireless-G airport extreme card). It also has support for bluetooth which I wouldn't really use anyway since I have no device to make use of bluetooth.
So, my question really is, is there a way to get the wireless card to be recognized under OS 9.2.2 even though Belkin does not have a driver for it? I really would like to use OS 9.2.2 sometimes, but its useless to me if I can't get on the i-net, and regular ethernet is NOT AN OPTION since where I live is only wireless internet.
    Ideas? Suggestions?

    Hi,
A ethernet to wifi bridge is connected to your computer via the ethernet port.
    ex: http://www.macsense.com/product/networking/wua800-1.html
So there is no need for driver in the OS since it's using the ethernet port like connected via a wire. It's the box that convert it to a wifi signal. You could even use this for OS X, Windows or Linux etc...
Many manufacturers make this kind of device.
    A+

  • USB/eSata express card not working on stock kernel

    Hello everyone,
I have a weird problem and I don't seem to find any solution by myself. Let me give you some background info on what I plan to do.
I purchased an express card to eSata/USB 3.0 adapter and want to make it work on my laptops. Precisely, it is this card: http://www.amazon.de/Notebook-Express-C … B007F8TXZ8
    1: Lenovo X200s (1,6GHz) running Ubuntu 14.04 amd64
    2: Lenovo X200s (1,6GHz) running Debian 7 amd64
    3: Lenovo X200T (1,6GHz) running ArchLinux amd64
The card does work fine only on the Ubuntu machine. I would like to make it run on the two other ones as well. I thought I might get help here getting it to work on machine 3 and then transfer the results to machine 2. What really matters to me is eSata, btw, I do not even have a USB 3.0 device to test with.
First of all, here's what happens when I plug the card into machine 1:

Apart from the supposedly found block device (can't judge) I am not sure if there is anything that is really eSata specific and not USB 3.0 related.
So far what I think I can tell from the output is that the modules
    pciehp pci pcieport
seem to be dealing with the express card as such whereas
    xhci_hcd
takes care of USB 3.0. I cannot see any clear reference to the eSata connector, which might not be surprising if the bus is just passed through (again: not sure).

Sticking to my suspicion that this might just be a USB related issue and eSata might still work due to some sort of passthrough, I attached the very eSata drive that I could mount on Ubuntu. It did not work.
I then researched and found this blog post: http://okomestudio.net/biboroku/?p=1360
So I downloaded the pkgbuild for the arch linux core kernel and checked the config. It matched the recommendations.
Another hint I found was to unload acpiphp and force-reload it. However, this tip does not seem to apply to the arch kernel:
    [user@3-arch:~$ sudo rmmod acpiphp
rmmod: ERROR: Module acpiphp is builtin.
Anyone any idea on how to make the card work?
    Thank you!

  • Additional Fields for ESS-Business Card Not Working for Certain Countries

    Dear Experts,
We were trying to configure the additional fields to be displayed in Business Card - Overview Screen for all countries. We don't have problem configure and get the new fields display for Malaysia (Molga = 14) but having problem for the field to display for Hong Kong (Molga = 27) and Singapore (Molga - 25).
The strange thing is I am following the same steps as I configured for Malaysia. Somehow it is not working for Hong Kong and Singapore. As I understand, there is only 1 place to configure in SPRO for this requirement:
Personnel Management -> Employee Self-Service -> Service-Specific Settings -> Own Data -> Customizing of Personal Information Screens -> Determine Fields for Business Card on Overview Screen
    Please help!

    Hi Siddhart,
Thank you for the information. We are currently in EhP3 with below Support Components installed.
    Software Component: SAP_HR
    Release: 600
    Level: 60
    Highest Support Package: SAPKE60060
    Software Component: EA-HR
    Release: 603
    Level: 34
    Highest Support Package: SAPK-60334INEAHR
The note 1159911 provided is within SAPK-60304INEAHR. Thus, I don't think this is the root cause of this inconsistency base on the Highest Support Package installed in our system.
    Anymore hint? Anyone? Please...

  • Satellite Pro M30 graphics card not working when driver is installed

    Hi all,
Im having problem with my nvidia Geforce FX Go5200, in a Satellite Pro M30 laptop, (Intel Pentium M processor 1.7 GHz, 512 Ram). This card was working fine suddenly the notebook stops.
I have formatted the notebook and installed Win XP PRO. After installing the VGA driver I restarted the notebook but black screen started coming up right after the Win XP splash screen appears. The notebook continues to start up but no screen.
It starts just fine in safe mode. I get my best screen by simply disabling the geforce card or uninstalling the driver. I tried to install a new driver for the VGA from the Toshiba download site but same problem appears. I have also tried updating BIOS but nothing happens.
    Anyone can help me?
    [email protected]

It is very strange issue. It will be really interesting to know if this happen when you use delivered recovery installations CD.
Anyway I presume there is some problem with LCD display. In safe mode the desktop is shown in lowers resolution but when OS starts the resolution will be adapted for standard one (1280x800) and obviously there is the problem.
I am not technician but I recommend you to contact service partner. As far as I know they use special tools and programs for display tests. They can tell you more.

  • DVD Decoder Card Not Working

I have a lombard 333 that I have a dvd decoder card installed in. It also has a dvd drive. When I put a dvd in, it shows up on the desktop and seems to work fine, but when the dvd player opens it says the dvd player is not compatible with this machine. The decoder card shows up in the toolbar at the top of the screen. I tried other dvd drives with no luck. I also put the card and dvd drive in another lombard 333 which did the same thing. I have used the lombard and card before to play dvd's with no problem, now it does not work. What is wrong? Could my card have gone bad? Is there a way I can fix it? Thanks

    Mac,
Unfortunately, no version of OSX supports DVD Player on the Wallstreet or Lombard. I am assuming you are booting into OSX since you have listed 10.4.8 as your OS. The only workaround is to boot into 9.x to play DVDs.

  • Sound card not working anymo

Hello. i've been working on this for the past 5 hours, but i've taken a breath and now i'm going to post here to see if any one can help me out. Im working with 2 computers, heres one:
    [Computer One]
Yesterday, i first noticed that when i plugged in my microphone (a new one i bought) to the sound card i have (Audigy 2 ZS Platinum), it crashes my computer.
Today, i tried a newer headset, a USB one, and plugged it in. (these headsets are logitech). The microphone works good (while plugged into the card, but then i have like maybe 2.5% volume (very very, very low) in the headphones. I checked my system volume, i changed around EVERY thing to see if i could get the phones to work, but no sound from my voice chat server (Teamspeak) would play at any hearable level. (i know it worked because they yelled and i could hear them, a little).
So after that all does not work, i plug in my old trusty headset (to the front dri've bay i got with my card) and then i start getting ERRORS and stuff when i open teamspeak, heres the 2 i get:
"OpenDevice Specified device identifier is out of range", then I hit OK and it gives me: "waveInGetDevCaps Specified device indentifier is out of range".
I then uninstall my drivers for the sound card, and download these: SBAX_WBUP2_LB_2_09_006
When I try to install them, it says something like: please make sure your sound card is installed correctly, or something of the nature.
    [Computer Two]
I install my old Sound Blaster Li've 5. card on my second computer, and i download the drivers for it, and it says the same thing when installing drivers: "make sure its installed correctly," like my Audigy 2 ZS Plat. Thats when it hit me, there has to be something i'm doing wrong here, how it could give me the same error on 2 machines?
I really have no idea what to make of this, any help is appreciated
