  • Problem using Implementing Remote Panel Security with a Login Example Guide

    I'm having issues implementing a Remote Panel protected by username and password using this NI guide:
    Implementing Remote Panel Security with a Login Example
    Remotepanellogin.zip
    After login process using Login.vi, if the user has the right password, his IP will be included in the Webserver allowed access list and the user can open the web site which hosts the Main.vi. Ok.
    But if the user doesn't have the password, his IP will be denied!
    Here is the problem: Will his IP be denied at all including Login.vi?
    I can't block access to Login.vi because even if the user entered a wrong password, he can still try login again....
    How can I configure a type of Allowed and Denied table using Webserver properties? For example:
    IP: 10.0.0.2 - Login.vi (allowed) - Main.vi (allowed) -> User entered a right password
    IP: 10.0.0.3 - Login.vi (allowed) - Main.vi (denied) -> User entered a wrong password
    Note: Login.vi must be visible and accessible always.
    These are the Implementing Remote Panel Security with a Login Example instructions:
    After you configure the VIs with the Web Publishing Tool, browse to the Remote Panel Login VI and run it. When this VI runs, LabVIEW gives remote panel access to all users, but they can view and control only this VI.
    If a user successfully logs in by supplying the Username of NI and password of labview (both are case sensitive) then LabVIEW gives remote panel access to the IP address specified in the Remote Panel Login VI only. That user can then browse to and run the Main VI.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Activuty guide for Manual start process

    Hi All,
    Hope you all doing goos.
    I am facing an issue while implementing activity guide.
    I tried the following ways of implementing.
    1) I implemented activuty guide to Asynchronous process, it works.
    2) I tried activity guide implementation to Manual BPM process, for which I am not able to implement the activity guide.
    Can you please let me know where am I going wrong?
    I implemented the activity guide and when I look the tasksin activity guide tab in workspace, there were no tasks even though tasks I can view in the home page of workspace.
    I dont know whether it works for Manual process or not.
    I am working on 11.1.1.6
    Your suggestion, corrections, advice are very much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Chandru

    Hi Daniel,
    Thanks for replying.
    even I was in this assumption and tried a lot.
    and the sample processes that I had were running properly.
    I changed the process to incorporate the manual start as well, even that worked!!!!
    So the problem was with the user.
    I was trying to assign "weblogic" user which is an administrator, but the activity guide will not be active on admin user I believe.
    When I tried the same process with jcooper, that worked.
    So my conclusion is: we should not use admin user for activity guide.
    Thanks

  • Service Desk message forwarding to Central System

    HI All,
    We have a requirement as below. There a total of 5 different customer landscape, each with a solution manager .
    Each customer raising tickets to thier own solution manager . The requirement is from each of those service desks, the tickets and its modifications must be synchonized with a central solution manager. The point is Not only the initial ticket, but all the modification of the ticket should reflect in central sol man. Also , there Solution managers are of different versions/support packs too.

  • Manual override option for Unit selling price in Order line level.

    In OM R-12
    Our client wants manual override option for Unit selling price in Order line level.
    But there is no solution available to fulfill this requirment. To be able to manually override the price on a Sales Order line you
    must have defined a manual modifier that qualifies for the Sales Order line in question. Without a suitable manual modifier the price cannot be changed.
    This is current standard functionality.
    Anybody can give some suggestion/workaround to override selling price in Order header level without using the modifiers.
    regards,

    Hi Kashif,
    I'm finding it little difficult to buy Oracle Support's feedback with regards to R12 functionality for direct List Price update without using any modifier (manual or whatever). After all it is Oracle's product and they should know better. But test results in Solution Beacon's Vision 12.0.6 instance (http://www.solutionbeacon.com/tools_r12vision.htm) and documentation updates in R12 (R12.0.4) OM user guide & implementation manuals potray a different picture.
    After your last post, I did a test in Solution Beacon's Vision 12.0.6 instance with following details:
    OM: List Price Override Privilege = "Unlimited Access" at user level
    OM: Discounting Privileges = "None" at user level
    No manual modifiers defined and Order status = "Entered"
    I could display the "List Price" field from folder under Line Items >> Main tab, override the list price to a new value and save. The unit selling price showed the new value based on updated List Price as soon as I tabbed out of the list price field after overriding. After saving it showed the new selling price. _Please note that under Line Items >> Pricing tab there is another "List Price" field and that is not editable_. For such overrides "View Adjustments" (from Line >> Actions) will not show any adjustment details as it is a direct update of list price.
    Also please note that, if "Enforce List Price" checkbox is selected for the order type, the list price cannot be overridden even if the profile option is set to "Unlimited Access".

    Page No. 10-74
    +Note: Note: If any order line for an order has the Calculate Price Flag value equal to Partial Price or Freeze Price new order level adjustments will not be applied or allowed to be overridden. _The profile option OM: List Price Override  Privilege controls your ability to override the unit list price. If you have this profile set to Unlimited, you may modify the unit list price by editing the current value displayed_. The original list price is saved in a hidden folder field, so you can display it if necessary+.

    User Procedures
    _A new profile option, OM: List Price Override Privilege controls whether or not you can update the List Price_. It is enabled and updated at the application, responsibility and user level. It is not user visible and updatable. The values include+:
    - View Only: This is the default value. If set to this value, the current behavior is retained, which means unit list price field is protected.
    - Unlimited Privilege: If set to this value, you can override the unit list price field from the main tab and immediately see selling price adjusted accordingly.
    To use Override List Price:
    +1. Navigate to the Sales Orders/Quick Sales Orders window.+
    +2. Enter the header and line information, including the ordered item and quantity, then tab to the next field. The Selling Price and List Price display+.
    +3. If the profile is set to Unlimited Privilege, you can enter a new list price in the List Price field. You can either proceed to the next line or save your work+.
    +4. You can see the new, entered list price, and if there are automatic discounts applied, they will be based on the new list price+.
    +5. If the folder has been modified to show the Original List Price, the original list price displays+.
    +6. To change the List Price again, go to the list price field and enter a new value, replacing a previously entered value. If Audit Trail is enabled for List Price and a reason is required, a window appears to enter a reason and optional comments+.
    Note: Subsequent overrides of the List Price, after the order line is saved, can be captured by Audit Trail, depending on the setup of Audit Trail (entered or booked state) and any processing constraints that have been set up.

  • CL_BSP_WD_REFERENCE_TOOL Custom Search Help

    Hi,
    I tried to implement custom search help exactly as the guide "How-To Guide: Implement Value Helps in GenIL Components" instructed but I am facing a problem.
    I am using CL_BSP_WD_REFERENCE_TOOL to store a reference of the context node class to be used in the search help class to get filter data, but it is not working, in method IF_BSP_WD_CUSTOM_F4_CALLBACK~RETRIEVE_CUSTOM_VALUES that I implemented the IR_CUSTOM_REF is initial.
    I debbugged standard class CL_THTMLB_F4HELP method GET_HELP_VALUES and noticed that when it is calling the same class to get the reference the table inside the class that should have the reference is empty:
    STANDARD CODE
    * Retrieve the reference to use if any.
          READ TABLE gt_sel_options WITH KEY shlpfield = if_bsp_wd_custom_f4_callback=>gc_key_ref INTO ls_option.
          IF ls_option IS NOT INITIAL.
    *  the value in "low" might have been cut off, so get the safe one
            lr_ref = cl_bsp_wd_reference_tool=>get_reference( iv_controller_key = lv_key_str ).
          ENDIF.
    I am wondering how that could be possible that a static class has different information when called inside the context node class and when called in CL_THTMLB_F4HELP, the only explanation I have is that the BSP application that is responsible to display the F4 view is statelless.
    Does anyone was able to pass a reference to method IF_BSP_WD_CUSTOM_F4_CALLBACK~RETRIEVE_CUSTOM_VALUES?
    The code that I implemented:
    Inside the V Getter method I set the reference, so class CL_BSP_WD_REFERENCE_TOOL insert into its internal table that is a static attribute my reference:
    lo_iterator = me->collection_wrapper->get_iterator( ).
      IF lo_iterator IS BOUND.
        lo_entity ?= lo_iterator->get_by_index( iv_index ).
      ENDIF.
      IF lo_entity IS BOUND.
        CONCATENATE 'FIELDNAME_VSTEL' lv_str_index INTO lv_controller_key.
        CONDENSE lv_controller_key NO-GAPS.
        CALL METHOD cl_bsp_wd_reference_tool=>set_reference
          EXPORTING
            iv_remove_existing = abap_true
            iv_controller_key  = lv_controller_key
            iv_controller_ref  = lo_entity.
        CONCATENATE '\''' lv_controller_key '\''' INTO ls_map-context_attr.
        ls_map-f4_attr      = if_bsp_wd_custom_f4_callback=>gc_key_ref.
        APPEND ls_map TO lt_inmap.
      ENDIF.
    * Output mapping
      CONCATENATE 'TABLE[' lv_str_index '].VSTEL'
          INTO ls_map-context_attr.
      ls_map-f4_attr = 'KEY'.
      APPEND ls_map TO lt_outmap.
      CREATE OBJECT rv_valuehelp_descriptor
        TYPE
          cl_bsp_wd_valuehelp_f4descr
        EXPORTING
          iv_help_id                  = '(ZCL_SOCR_CONTLIST_F4)'
          iv_help_id_kind             = if_bsp_wd_valuehelp_f4descr=>help_id_kind_comp
          iv_input_mapping            = lt_inmap
          iv_output_mapping           = lt_outmap
          iv_trigger_submit           = abap_false.
    Then in my class ZCL_SOCR_CONTLIST_F4 method IF_BSP_WD_CUSTOM_F4_CALLBACK~RETRIEVE_CUSTOM_VALUES I try to obtain my reference:
    IF ir_custom_ref IS BOUND.
                TRY.
                    lo_entity ?= ir_custom_ref.
                    lo_parent = lo_entity->get_parent( ).
                  CATCH cx_sy_move_cast_error.
                ENDTRY.
              ENDIF.
    But in vain because in the standard code of class CL_THTMLB_F4HELP when its call static method CL_BSP_WD_REFERENCE_TOOL=>get_reference  the static table attribute that should have the references is empty.
    Does anyone have an explanation how a static class can have different data during the execution of the same program, same user session?
    Thanks,
    Mauricio

    Hi,
    Any Ideas?

  • Oracle EM and OVM management--where to start?

    We are interested in evaluating EM for OVM control, but after a quick glance through the docs it's by no means clear how to start. We have not used EM before this and it's a daunting prospect.
    What I'm interested to know is:
    1. What is the minimum amount of parts I need to download and install to get OVM management under EM working for a simple environment?
    2. Does it really require a full oracle DB installation or will it work with XE?
    3. What plugins and agents etc. are/are not required?
    It looks simple enough on paper but the EM framework has an enormous amount of apparatus most of which it seems we don't need.
    Any pointers greatly appreciated!

    First this is such task where you will learn more but sorry to say it will also take Time. This is not one/two days task.
    Yes how to start
    ==========
    I will suggest first dont go with user guides/Implementation Guide, for newbie they are little bit hard as my understanding.
    Read small Blogs/Articles and have fast understanding and then go with user guides/Implementation Guide .

    Kannan,
    Start by ready the Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning and Demand Planning User Guides (Implementation manuals). But the real answer is that both of these modules are very complex and it would be difficult for you to accomplish this work by just reading the manuals. Hopefully you have someone experienced engaged and these manuals are intended as references to help you prepare and learn the subject..

  • Need some info regarding BWA1 transaction in CRM

    Hi,
      I am trying to understand few things for the BWA1 transaction. Looks like we need to explore the BWA1 transaction for data source enhancement before trying the classical Data source enhancement method (Append structure in the Data source ) in RSA6.
    1> The Data source fields visible in transaction RSA6 is stored in TABLE ROOSFIELD.
    2> In BWA1 transaction the visible field (in the 'extract structure’ tab in the Field 'selection <> 'A' ) matches with the Data source fields in RSA6
       However the entry in the 'Mapping' tabs in Transaction BWA1 is stored in table SMOXRELP.
    3> All the fields from the “Extraction Structure’ TAB rightly belong to the extraction structure maintained in the ‘Metadata’ tab.
    After that I seem to loose my way.
    For example take the example of data source 0CRM_SALES_ORDER_I, the above two assumptions are correct.
    But when I look at the extraction structure (CRMT_BW_SALES_ORDER_I) AND the segments in the Mapping tabs (ORDERADM_H, ORDERADM_I etc)
    I don’t seem to relate them, I know there these comes from the BDOC BUS_TRANSACTION_MESSAGE (as mentioned in the ‘Metadata’ Tab in BWA1) but don’t really understand the correlation.
    Also please note that I am not able to change the value for ‘Selection’ field in the ‘Extract Structure’ tab.  I that case, how can I really enable some field which are by default hidden from the BW data source? Also how can I extend the whole thing to take into some custom fields as well that I have created for the Sales Transaction as well.
    Thanks
    AGN

    hi Arun,
    take a look oss note 692195, steps if you add new fields.
    try to read bw350 course material, there is one chapter talk crm extraction, explain bw adapter, bdoc, etc.
    and perhaps check bi best practice

    692195 - FAQ: Sales Analytics and CRM-BW data Extraction
    Question 4: How can I extract the fields, which are not provided in the standard  data source extraction .
    Suggestion 4: Follow the steps mentioned below.
    1. Enhance Extract Structure with the required fields. (Create & include
       an append structure to the extract structure via transaction RSA6).
    2.a) Release the fields of the append  for usage. (  To do this, double
       click on the Datasource and remove the flags in the column 'Hide
       Field' for all fields of Append. )
    2.b)If the new fields cannot be seen in the extract structure of
        the transaction BWA1 then change and save the datasource, and then
        activate it in RSA6.
    3. Define your mappings in BADI (CRM_BWA_MFLOW) to fill these fields.
    Goto SPRO .
    Follow the path ->
    SAP Implementation guide ->Implementation with other mySAP components ->
    Data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse->
    Settings for the application specific datasources (CRM)->
    Settings for BW adapter->
    Badi :BW adapter :Enhancement of datasources in messaging flow.
    4. Replicate the new Datasource to BW.
    5. Expand the Communication Structure in BW.
    6. Maintain transfer Rules for the new Datasource.
    7. Activate the trasfer rules and perform the upload.

  • Universe design guidelines

    Hello Friends,
    For new customers implementing webi on OLTP systems, is there any basic guidelines to refer. Some of the questions that arise are:
    1. How many universes on an avergae would a companies have and maintain if implemented on OLTP system using around 50 tables
    2. Is the logical grouping of tables for universe by business area like finance/logistics/inventory/etc
    3. What is the suitable schema -Star or Snow flake for the universes
    4. Is it good to have separate universes for transaction and master data
    5.How are the joins between the tables determined--is it based on the reports drawn or keys of the tables..
    Are there any implementation sucess stories with these details. Please share your experiences.

  • Performance Optimization Self Service- SAP help requirement

    Hi,
    I want to know whether for SAP's help is required for performing the self service of Performance Optimization.
    If we collect ST12 trace and use it to perform the self service then is the report which is generated from the self service sufficient to take further action or will I need some SAP expertise to implement / take corrective actions?
    In short, whether I can do the Performance Optimization by myself or I need help from SAP?
    Regards,
    Vishal

    hi,
    1) Is this service available to all the customer? (by all the customers I mean "Max Attention", "Enterprise Support" etc)
    i answer this above is it, from mz above reply, have you checked
    enterprise support customers can get five EGI sessions as free per year. please check
    http://service.sap.com/esacademy
    - click browse egis
    for your second question also I answered above
    Does the report itself gives suggestions or we need to provide the report to SAP
    here my reply above
    because Guided procedure itself the proven methodlogy from SAP, the report provides the lots of suggestions against the SAP best practices.
    you can use it yourself most of the time. if still you need expert guidance from SAP, book for EGI sessions. they called as expert guided implementations, remote support. duration might vary based on the session.
    again, service report is the source, you have to review yourself, if you are in EGI, sap use that report for guiding. Please review

  • How to make CRM data sources for delta capability?

    Hi All,
    I know that the CRM data sources 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1, 0CRM_QUOTATION_I, 0CRM_SALES_ORDER_I have delta capability.
    At present we are doing full loads daily but it has got some performance issues.So we are thinking to make these as delta loads.
    Already some one has made a trail to make delta loads but not successful for some unknown reasons.
    Could you please suggest me the steps to make these data sources delta capable both in CRM and BW systems?
    As this is urgent...Please suggest ASAP.

    Hi
    Go thorugh Below the note: 692195
    Summary
    Symptom
    There may be problems or issues related to data tranfer from CRM to BW.
    Other terms
    CRM-BW extraction,upload,initial,delta,full upload ,Sales Analytics,
    Reason and Prerequisites
    There could be errors in customization or program errors due to which
    data may not be transferred or incorrectly transferred to BW.
    Solutions
    Question 1 : The Extraction from CRM to BW takes a very long time. What can be done? (Performance Issues)
    Suggestion 1: Please implement notes  653645 (Collective note) and
    639072(Parallel  Processing).
    The performance could be slow because of the wrong control parameters
    used for packaging.
    You can change the package size for the data extraction.
    Also note that changing the package size in the transaction SBIW
    would imply a change for all the extractors. Instead, you could
    follow the path in the bw system.
    Infopackage (scheduler)    > Menu 'Scheduler'   > 'DataS. default data
    transfer'   > maintain the value as 1500 or 1000(This value is variable)
    The package size depends on the Resources available at the customer side
    (The no of parallel processes that could be assigned =
    1.5 times the no of CPU's available approx.)
    Question 2 : On executing transaction RSA3 I get records but I find 0
    records when I load data from BW request.(No Data Available)
    Suggestion 2: First check if there are any entries in the table
    CRMD_ORDER_INDEX.Only if there are entries in this table you can
    extract records.
    If this is not the case then,
    It is possible that the user does not have sufficient
    authorities for extraction of  the relevant objects.
    Additionally, please review and implement the following notes
    615670
    161570
    150315
    618953
    If you are in the release 4.0 then
    To do BW extraction with the user please see that the following
    authorization object exists(display mode is enough):
    CRM_ACT,CRM_OPP, CRM_LEAD, CRM_SAO, CRM_SEO, CRM_CO_SE,CRM_CO_SC
    CRM_CO_SA, CRM_CON_SE, CRM_CMP, CRM_ORD_OP,CRM_ORD_LP,CRM_ORD_PR
    CRM_ORD_OE, CRM_CO_PU, CRM_CO_PD, CRM_ORD_PO
    (all these objects are linked to transaction crmd_order).
    Question 3 : The Deltas for my data source are not extracted . What can I do?
    Suggestion 3: Please check the following.
    Please Check if the services have been generated in transaction GNRWB.
    If they are not active(not marked 'X' before their names) then activate
    the services following the steps here.
    Go to transaction GNRWB
    Select BUS_TRANS_MSG
    Select (on the right, the services) : BWA_DELTA3, BWA_FILL, BWA_queue
    Press Generate.
    Also check  for the following:
    1. The delta should have been initialized successfully.
    2. Confirm that all Bdocs of type BUS_TRANS_MSG
       are processed with success in SMW01.
    3. If there are queues in SMQ1 with erroneous status then activate
       these queues.
       In Transaction SMQ1 if there are Queues existing with
       names beginning with CRM_BWAn (n is number) then
       activate these queues in the same transaction.
    4.a)If required activate the datasource
        Go to transaction BWA5   > select the required datasource and
        activate.
    4 b) The Delta may not be active ,activate the delta in BWA7 by
      selecting the name of the datsource and pressing the candle icon for
      'activate delta'.
    5. In BW system
       Go to transaction RSA1   > modeling   > infosources   > select the
       infosource   > right mouse click on the selected
       infosource   > choose option replicate datasource
        Activate the infosource.
    6. Go to the scheduler for the infosource   > select delta  in the
        update  >choose the option PSA only (in the Processing tab)
        > start immediately
    Check the entry in the RSA7 in the OLTP(CRM system)
    Goto SPRO .
    Follow the path ->
    SAP Implementation guide ->Implementation with other mySAP components ->
    Data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse->
    Settings for the application specific datasources (CRM)->
    Settings for BW adapter->
    Question 5:  I am unable to extract  user status correctly.What should I
    do?
    Suggestion 5 :Check the following notes
    531875
    616062
    713458
    700714
    765281
    Question 6 : What can I  do when the activity/Opportunity/Complaint
    reasons(Code,CodeGruppe,Katalogart)  are not extracted.
    Suggestion 6 :Check the following notes
    481686
    516820
    603609
    617411
    711146
    Question 7:Deleted opportunities are not reflected in BW.
    Suggestion 7: Check the note 706327.
    Question 8: How do you  activate the metadata?
    Suggestion 8:CRM BW adapter meta data has to be activated first before
    it is available in the system. You can use Transaction BWA5 to copy the
    meta data for selected DataSources. You can reach the transaction via
    the IMG maintenance 'SAP Reference IMG -> Settings for SAP Business
    Information Warehouse -> Activate BW Adapter Meta Data'. For more
    information, see the documentation on the IMG activity 'Activate BW
    Adapter Meta Data'.  (Note 432485)
    Question 9: I donot get any records for the delta upload of my attribute
    datasource(s).What is to be done?
    Suggestion 9: In case of attribute datasources, it is possible that the
    entry for the GUID is missing in the table SMOXAFLD.
    If , for example the datasource 0CRM_OPPT_ATTR is not giving deltas
    then you can follow the steps:
    1)If Delta process is active for the attribute datasource e.g.
         0CRM_OPPT_ATTR,  then stop the delta process in the BW
         system
    2) In the CRM system, Make the entry in the table SMOXAFLD
       for the datasource with the Key
       as  0CRM_OPPT_ATTR     GUID 3) Save the entry.Activate the datasource                           4) Check that the above entry is replicated in smoxafld_s also    after this.               5) Create a transport request manually for the following    object             R3TR   SMO4   0CRM_OPPT_ATTR
    Question 10: What do the status BWSTONESYS0 , BWSTONEUSS0,BWSTTECSYS0 and various other BW status mean ?
    Suggestion 10: The BW status are used to extract system and user defined
    status.
    The BW status are defined in the customization settings in SPRO.
    Check for-> Status Concept for BP/Product/CRM objects
    Here goto-> Process user status You will find the documentation attached here for the user status. Going inside the transaction you will find the status groups USS0, ZIOP,ZMOP etc. The names of the various BW status are derived from this For ex. BW + ST+ One + USS0 gives the name of the field BWSTONEUSS0 or BWST + ONE + ZMOP = BWSTONEZMOP (Master opportunity values) (which means BWST + (status group name) + status object group name) Double clicking on any of the object groups will take you to the values that these status can have . For ex. BWSTONEUSS0 in your system can have values E001 ,E002,E003,E007 which will be shown in RSA3 as BW status values 1,2,3,7, respectively.
    Similarly we have Goto -> Process system status (in SPRO). Here you can get the values for the system status in exactly the same way as BWSTONESYS0(Lifecycle status) , BWSTTECSYS2 (Error) etc. In RSA3 you get the names as BW status, To know which corresponds to which status here,Gotothe record list in RSA3 . Here goto Settings - Layout -Current . Right click -> Press Show technical field names . You will be able to see the BW status names and will be able to adjust the layout accordingly.

  • SUS-MM and ECC 6.0 quotations

    Hello there,
    I'm using ECC 6.0 with SUS-MM (SRM 5.0 with SRM server 5.5).
    Did anyone implement the transfer of quotations from ECC 6.0 to SUS-MM.
    If yes, where would I find any config guide/implementation hints?
    Cheers,
