SD Information Structure

Hi everyone,
I am working with flexible planning in SOP and I would like to find an SD information structure that includes the following key figures:
-Material
-Plant or Shipping point
-Open orders quantity
Could anyone please tell me whether exists any information structure according to my requirements?

T.code - :MC18 u2013 create field catalog
1. Characteristic Catalog
Application-01-Sales and Distribution, 02-Purchasing, 03-Inventory Controlling, etc..
Catalog category 1. Characteristic catalog, 2. Key figures catalog 3. Date catalog Select characteristic catalog and enter, click on characteristic select the source table and it will be display the relevant source field and select the source field, copy + close, copy.
Save, similarly create key figures catalog
T.code : MC21 u2013 create infostructure
Example u2013
Inforstructure : S789
Application u2013 01
Choose characteristic select the catalog, select the fields, copy + close Choose key figures catalog select the key figures ,copy + close, save and generate

Give the data source name eg. 2LIS 01S789 and execute, result will get some records Go to BW side replicate data source u2013 Assign infosource u2013 Create infocube u2013 Create update rules u2013 create infopackage and schedule the package with initialize delta process.
For delta update :
In R/3 side
T.code u2013 MC25, set update (V1) or (V2) or (V3)
T.code u2013 LBW0, choose generate updating and execute then choose activate / deactivate and execute
BW side - create infopackage and schedule the package with delta update.
First time if your scheduling the infopackage -in R/3 side T.code :MC25 -Udating set to No update,insted of selecting the update V1,V2,V3.
If your doing the Delta update:in R/3 side T.code :MC25-Updating set to either V1 or V2 or V3. and the to T.code :LBW0 -Select the radio button Active/deactivate and Execute.
and schedule the infopackage with delta update.
Modules for LIS : SD,MM, PP,QM.
Deltas for LIS:
After setting up the LIS environment, 2 transparent tables and 1 extract structure is generated for this particular info structure. Within transaction SE11 you can view the tables u2018SnnnBIW1u2019, u2018SnnnBIW2u2019 and the structure u2018SnnnBIWSu2019 and the InfoStructure itself u201ASnnnu2018
The tables S5nnnBIW1 & SnnnnBIW2 are used to assist the delta update process within BW.
Extract structure u2018SnnnnBIWCu2019 is used as an interface structure between OLTP InfoStructure and BW
The OLTP system has automatically created an entry in the control table u2018TMCBIWu2019. Within transaction u2018SE16u2019 youu2019ll see, that for your particular InfoStructure the field u2018BIW activeu2019 has the value u2018Xu2019 and the field u2018BIW statusu2019 is filled with value u20181u2019 (refers to table SnnnBIW1).
The orgininal LIS update program u201ARMCX#### will be enhanced within the form routines u201Aform Snnnbiw1_update_....u2018 and u201Aform Snnnbiw2_update
With the transaction u2018SE38u2019 youu2019ll see at the end of the program starting at line 870 / 1006, that the program is enhanced within a u2018BIW delta updateu2019 coding
Within the flag u201AActivate/Deactivateu2018 the update process into the delta tables (SnnnBIW1/Sn5nnBIW2) is swichted on/off. In the table u201ATMCBIWu2018 is defined, which table is active for delta update.
Note: The delta updating is client dependent !

How to archive information structure?

There are some Archiving Object for information structure in ECC 6.0, however I can't find this in the version ECC5.0 and R/3 4.6C,I want to know if it means we can't archive information structure in these version?

Error 4 occurred while information structure S001 was being updated.

Hi experts,
I set up the environment for the 2LIS_01_S001 DataSource (InfoCube 0SD_C01) accordingly these steps (as mentioned in another thread):
1) Activating LIS update - goto OMO1 transaction code
In the Updating Info Structures(S001) - double-click the Updating radio button for Info structure S001.
In the Parameters dialog box select Synchronous updating and choose ok.
2) Goto OLI7 Transaction code - run the statistical update.
3) Goto OLIX transaction code - setup version &( will be copied to actual version 000 for reporting
4)Go back to OMO1 do deactive the LIS Update, check radio button to "No Update"
5)Now goto LBW0 and choose option "Deactivate" Delta updating in LIS.
6) In BW, Replicate DataSource, and run info Package with Initilization.
7) Now again in R/3 we need to "Activate" Delta option from transaction code LBW0.
8) and last step is to goto OMO1 to activate LIS Update to Synchronous updating and save.
But in step 2 , I am getting an error i.e
Error 4 updating info structure S001
Message no. M2022
Error 4 occurred while information structure S001 was being updated.
The update was attempted with the following key:
&V3 0100000000000000290658
I am not understanding this error,so cant proceed further.

I have two systems in both i am doing the same process.
But in my one system i am getting error
but in my other system i am not getting error and my set up table is filled with records.
According to that note key figures sequence in S001, S001BIW1 & S001BIW2 should be same.
but i my other system, key figure sequence is different and i am fine working with it.
so why it is not able to fill my set up table for my other system ?

Iam creating a user defined information structure for flexible planning. I selected the following characteristics.
1. Sales organization
2. Distribution channel
3. Sold to party
4. Plant
5. Material
But I get the following message "Include product groups/materials field for planning hierarchy".
May I know whats the reason for this message and how to solve it.
Please help me here.

Th hierarchy what you created may have some error, please reassign the sequence in hierarchy and check it out, it will work

Unbilled information structures in IS-U for BW

Hi!
I am doing the configuration in IS-U for getting data for unbilled revenue reporting, simulation documents...
My problem is, the information structures needs BILLRUNNO field, that exist into the table, however, when I want to select the characteristics from table, doesnt appers.... HOW CAN I SOLVE THE PROBLEM??? How can I add the field to the structure? somebody knows... it is similar to structure standard S440 and S441

Hi, UIS and individual procedure doesn't exclude each other. Means, you can use the individual procedure with UIS also.
But if you want to do the individual procedure (and store the values on a granular level - that's often the case), UIS will run into performance issues because of the very high data volume.
That's why you shouldn't use UIS here but BW. Check also our Service Marketplace here.

How big is the customer you want to implement URR (# of customers, # of bills per year/customer)?

In my previous message, i had no data. I maintain my information structure with OMO2 and now, i have data create after my information structure. But i haven't data create before.

You need to do the basic settings for LIS :
Logistics Data Warehouse
   Data Basis
     Updating
        Updating Definition
        Updating Control
                Activate update
                Settings: Sales
                     Statistics Groups
                     Update Group
               Assign update group on item level
               Assign update group on header level
1). Maintain the relevant Statistic group in Customer and Material Master
2). Assign the Update group based on the Sales Area , Customr Statistics Group , Material Statistic Group, Sales Document type statistiv group, Item Cateogry Statistic group & Relevant Update group
3). Assign the Update Group based on Sales Area , Statistic Group for Customer, Statistictics group for sales document type.
Please check with these basic settings and confirm

I don't think there is any infostructure on the basis of Plant in the sales information system. Try difining infostrucure as a plant and for that you have to assign the key figure as incoming orders, qty, value etc

Archive Information Structure purging

Hi All,
We have a requirement to automate the Archive Information Structure (AIS) purging.
Currently its been done manually from the transaction SARI.
The Suggested solution involves recording (SHDB) the above manual process and write a Call Transaction program for purging multiple info structure.
Are there any alternatives for purging AIS other than using recorded SARI transaction?
Can this be accomplished by calling some function modules?

"Self defined" means that one may define the info structure any way he/she likes.
Based on your question it seems that you lack basic understanding of the LIS/SIS concepts. I'd encourage you to read the documentation in SPRO, SAP Help and use Search in this forum.

QM , Working with Information structure and standard Analyses

I have created a Information structure S950 copying Information Structure S068.I have fews issues in the newly crerated information structure.
1) When I generated standard analyses and assigned the transaction code for it.
The descrption present in the transaction code is not shown on the selection
screen. Can anyone let me know how do Change the description on selection
screen of the standard analyses. Or how do we create "Analysis" for Standard
Analyses.
2) When I run the MCVA transaction (Standard Anaylses for Vendor - Info structure S068) I can see few Rate fields being caculated .Ex: Rejection rate . This fields are not stored phisically in the S068 but coming dynamically. I want the same fields in my transaction as it is the copy of S068. I believe this calculation are made in Supplementary Key figures. Can anyone let me know where is this supplementray key figure OR how do we set the supplemetary key figure in Custom information Structure.

The credit-relevant data is updated into information structures S066 and S067, where it
is accessed and updated.
How to see structures S066 and S067. I mean what is the transaction to see this?

Dear Customer,
there is no special transaction to see the S066 or S067.
In this case have the possibility to create your own report for the evaluation.
But you can see the sales values in transaction FD32 or FD33 but only for the relevant
customer.
The other possibility is transaction SE16.
