SD Integration in cProjects

Hello,
I am using cProjects with hierarchical accounting. The point I am not getting is the SD Module.
The workflow is using cProjects to make the projects structure and then the PS structures is generated automatically by cProjects with the PS template. Now I am recording times with CATS/ESS.... everything is clear to this point.
The point is the SD module.
I have seen one scenario using a normal standard order with the DP90...
- Is it possible to use the same standard order with the DP90 several times for billing different time periods or do I have to create a standard order for everytime I want to run the DP90?
- Is it possible to use a service order instead of the standard order? If yes, where can I maintain the connection between the PSP-element and the order?
- How are you using the integration between cProjects and CO to SD. How deep is this integration? What is it able to do?
It would be nice if someone could bring the light into the darkness...

although Vanessa found her answer, I though this might interesing for whole community I asked my local DP90 expert. And this is what he has to say:

If standard order is a sales order created via VA01, than it works in the following way: You call transaction DP90 and the system determines all confirmations created for the time period entered in selection screen and checks if the cost records selected were already billed. If there are open amounts/quantities you can bill them. So, you can use the same sales order over and over again.
Is it possible to use a service order instead of the standard order? If yes, where can I maintain the connection between the PSP-element and the order?
No, it's not possible to use a service order created via IW31 in standard. If you have to use a service order you can use enhancements within Dynamic Item Processor ( see also attachment to note 301117 ) to provide this.
How are you using the integration between cProjects and CO to SD. How deep is this integration? What is it able to do?
You can create an inquiry with cProjects planned costs using DP81 (see SAP Best Practices D50 and D83, too).
Additionally, you can use the functionality which is possible in ERP Project System if you have got a PS Project linked to the project in cProjects (multi-level controlling) like budget.
I hope others having similar questions find these answers usefull.

Problem in Accounting Integration in cProjects 4.0

Hi,
I am trying to customize the Accounting Integration in cProjects 4.0 with R/3. The problem comes when I try to replicate the Cost/Revenue rates to the R/3 system. I get the following error: "Cost/revenue rate PM01: organizational unit 40000582 does not exist"
The "organizational unit" is set in the cost/revenue rate as organization responsible. Why is that error poping up? Where can I create those organization responsibles? Do I have to create the data in my R/3 system?

Thank you very much for your info, but I am still having the same trouble.
Apart form the former one I got two more customizing problems:
The point "Make settings in ERP systems" returns in an error
In the point Define Controlling Scenario in R/3 I don't have to option to choose Multilevel Controlling (can I customize those options?)

MS Project Integration with cProjects

Dear All,
We are testing the MS Project Integration with cProjects 4.0. We have 1 query.
While importing the Project from MS Project to cProjects if changes are done then it creates the new project in cProject system.
Is it the standard MS Project Integration functionality ? We want the system to update the cProject only for the changes after Import is done. Can we get this ?

The system will create a new project only if you have cleared the Project ID field (in MS project).
Else (if you do not change the Project ID field), the system creates a simulation with the standard system provided simulation for the project.
Once you have the simulation ready (in cProjects), you are supposed to reconcile the operational project (main project in cProjects) with this simulated copy to bring the updates/changes into effect.

MS Project Client Integration with cProjects 4.0

Hi,
I am using cProjects 4.0 and trying to import the MS project.
It is giving errors as follows -
a) The constraint date is missing for the start constraint
b) MS Project Title is initial: Upload not possible.

Dear All,
Can any one send the config details of how the cProject data can be integrated to R/3 projects (CJ20N).
Is there a way that create project on any of side can be reflected and updated to both side automatically ??

Hi Neil,
i need to integrate CRM cprojects with R/3 PS. there is adapter object available ( CPROJECTS ) for this. but it does not do the initial load of projects through R3AS. can anyone please let me know how i can achieve this.

It would be foolish to impliment anything on older versions of SAP for the fear of config/customising going forward r/3 wont be suppoted, then anyways u have to upgrade.then what?

CProjects 4.0 - SAP R/3 4.7 - Accounting Integration problem.

Dear all,
I have performed all steps necesaary for accounting integration in cProjects and SAP R/3 FI System.
I can even see and assign the cost rate that I have created in cProjects to a project role.
System also calculates the cost for the role multiplyin the cost rate with the number of hours the resource has been assigned.
However, it also displays the following warning messages:
1. An error occurred in Accounting (system QASCLNT777)
2. Function module "IAOM_CPRO_MISC_RFC_CPDEF_CHECK" not found.
3. No cost center could be determined for organizational unit 00000000
4. Maintain a revenue element for cost/revenue rate ZZ_000001
5. Error occurred in accounting - check the costing in the ERP system
When I execute the transaction COCPCPR in R/3 system, I cannot see the internal order, but see the project name under "Internal Orders not created"

Hi reema, if we refer to the documentation pertaining to accounting integration for cProjects 4.0, we see that the prerequisities is ECC 6.0
Please see below from the help documentation
Integration
To be able to use the functions of accounting integration, you have to implement the Internal Orders (CO-OM-OPA) application component and Project System (PS) in SAP ECC 6.0.
Prerequisites
You need to make a number of Customizing settings in both the Collaboration Projects and SAP ECC Implementation Guides (IMG):
Settings in the Collaboration Projects IMG
You selected the Controlling in mySAP ERP setting in Customizing for Collaboration Projects under Connection to External Systems ® Accounting Integration ® Activate Integration as the Accounting Integration Scenario.
I feel the error messages are thrown because you are using SAP R/3 4.7. I see from the SAP notes, for CATS integration with cProjects 4.0 and SAP R/3, SAP consulting is available, but nothing is mentioned for accounting integration.

Cproject 3.1 accounting integration project problem

Dear Sirs,
I have some problems with accounting integration in cProjects. I got help previously with missing company code in thread; This is now implemented and works fine.
When I save a project and mark it for replication, i get the following error in the Cockpit for Controlling Integration (cprojects).
Enter Order number.
Message no. KO413
I have been looking and looking for ways to solve this; Any hints from you guys?

you are quite right. We tried to swap to internal number range this morning, and it makes the error message to change to:
+Company code is not defined:
Messsage no. F5165
Diagnosis
Colmpany code "" has not been created in finacial accounting
System response
System error
Procedure
Correct the entry or create the company code using financial accounting customizing functions.+
This is quite strange given we have implemented the badi for company code (DPR_FIN_GECCO_ATTR), with the correct values.
Any hints are highly appricated, personally is wonder if there are other places we can look for more detailed error messages to find out excactly what goes wrong.

Cproject Integration with BW ( Querys )

Hi gurus,
In Cproject i could get detailed information of a particular project by the status Report, but as i mentioned it´s only for a particular project.
I´m testing with BW integration but i´m dealing with some problems.
When i execute a standard querys eg. 0CPR_C01_Q0006, i get incomplete information because the phase and the task of every proyect are with '000000000000000000000' (empty), but the project name / description / responsible resource appears.
Can anybody help me with this?

I see EXT_OBJECT_ID what's ? project/task/intenal order, which conversion function module I use to display external name of the object?
I see also OBJECT_NO in some records it is valued other no,
which is the meaning of this field?
