SD (quote) Adobe Forms Missing

Hello,
We have a need to issue output from SD Quote and would like to use Adobe forms for this. However, I can not find any interface or form related to SD quotes or orders.
Is there a patch we need to load? If not, what is the names for such forms. We currently upgrade to NW 7.0

I will get corrected by other SAP colleagues, but I prefer to develop my own form every time possible. In SAP standard forms (I have worked with MMM MEDRUCK form for all the MM prints for example) are
A) BIG
B) not nice to read
C) not nice to change
If you think you are not a skilled developer, do not be afraid, this technology is mostly visual after you got the data loaded from SAP tables/ infotypes. And this technology is widely used and will be inevitable to learn it:))

Adobe Form - missing font

Hi all,
I need help for output Adobe.
I have create a Adobe Form in LCD (SFP). I change the font from Arial to NexusSans. In the LCD Layout the text will shown correctly in the font Nexus.
The printing is controlled over an application form in SAP.
if I print the Adobe form from transaction piqst10 -> corresponding with device is file. The result PDF in the spool is created, but the font in the PDF is ARIAL and NOT NEXUS.
What can I do, to get the right font in my PDF?
We use SLCM, LCD 8.0; Clients: Win XP and SAP-GUI 7.2. The font Nexus... is installed on my Client - it is a licensed font.
Additional Information: We have old SmartForms which use Nexus too. If I print the SmartForm I get the right Nexus font.

I've got an message: "Schriftlizenz für NexusSans-Regular erlaubt kein Einbetten. Schrift wird als Referenz verwendet"
"Font license for NexusSans-Regular does not allow embedding. Font is used as a reference."

Maybe that could help
 1. Create a subdirectory called fonts below the /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService directory.
 2. Create a subdirectory called customer below the fonts/ directory created in the previous step.
 3. Copy your fonts into the /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService/fonts/customer directory.
 4. Restart the Document Services Font Manager for the changes to take effect. (See How to Restart a Service.)
 5. Also restart the application com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices for the changes to take effect. (See How to Restart an Application.)

Name of the creator missing when archiving Adobe Form

Hey,
i have an problem when i archiving an adobe form after printing. I miss the name of the creator but i cannot find the arc_params like i find them when i'm printing with sap script.

Hi,
Saving the PDF to a set name is considered a security concern by Adobe. In order to achieve it you would need a trusted function, inside a JavaScript file. This .js file would be in a set folder on EVERYONE'S computer. This makes it difficult to deploy and maintain.

Request to SAP - Adobe Forms test certificate missing / expired

Hello,
the Adobe certificate present on the SDN page:
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/70aa75cc-6ac3-2910-c78c-ade192ec861e
does not provide a valid certificate for 2012. There's been some error and this certificate is only valid until January 2011 (!).
Please provide a new test certificate.

I think that you may not get the performance running adobe forms while using citrix. For using portal applications you need to open the port to access the client portal through VPN.

I am new to adobe forms, When i tried to design the form by mistaken i have hided the hierarchy view & data view(left side of the layout). I didn't know how to view that back. Can any one suggest me how to get those views back.

Images in Adobe Form

Hello All,
I want to display images in Adobe form. I've done the following. The images are not static but dynamic - for each time the form loads the images are different.
1. Created the image field (Va_Image)
2. The URL for the image comes from a Context node which is mapped to the PDF DataSource.
3. i mapped the context node to a invisible TextField (Image_URL)
4. I wrote the following script (to set the href of image dynamically) in the initialize event of the Page1 on which the text field and image are present
xfa.form.Vn_MasterRecord.Page1.Va_Image.value.image.href = xfa.form.Vn_MasterRecord.Page1.Image_URL.rawValue
5. On preview of the PDF in Adobe Live Cycle Designer, i get the image correctly.
However, when i execute the Webdynpro application (java), the image doesn't appear on my final screen.
Any pointers? am i missing something?

For dynamic image,
You cannot directly display a logo which is uploaded in se78 on an adobe form. The image format needs a conversion.
- You can write this code in your interface section.
- Create a global variable g_logo of type xstring."converted logo and v_name of type STXBITMAPS-TDNAME. "logo name in se78.
- Pass these parameters of the image in se78 to this method.

- Create an image field (not just image. That would be static) and in binding, bind it to g_logo and check the check box u2018Embed image datau2019.
I think, this should work.

Error when starting Adobe Form

I have an Adobe Form which works Ok in the development SAP Portal, but that, when I log in the production portal gives the following error:
Error when reinitializing the form (I guess, it's Error al reinicializar el formulario, in Spanish)
I think maybe there is something missing to transport, or some misconfiguration, but I haven't been able so far to find it...
Can someone give me a hand?

I am using a drop down list in Adobe Interactive Form for Web Dynpro ABAP.
The form is of ZCI type layout and the form interface is of XML schema-based interface type and the XML schema source is set to "Generated".
I have included the following code in WDDOINIT method of the view:

end of zstruct,
zitab type table of zsttxecr.

In the Adobe Form Designer, i have binded the node NODE1 to the enumerated drop down list from native web dynpro library. Still the drop down box is not getting populated.

Data node mapped to Adobe Form empty - Web Dynpro ABAP

I've created a web dynpro component in ABAP. One of the view contains an interactive Adobe form.
Form properties : Data source and pdf source are mapped
Enabled checked
Submit action mapped to a method. This method reads the node mapped to the form.
Form Layout: Used ZCI Layout and Inserted web dynpro script (XML interface)
Dragged attributes from data view to create text fields.
Submit button used from Web dynpro native group
I could not read data from the form.
When I submit the form, data is not captured in the context.
I have used the same context for view and could save the data from the view. But from the adobe form, I cannot read the data.
Is there anything I missed. I have been on this since 2 days with no solution. I dont see any mistake but the form doesnt work.
Version: Adobe Designer : 8.1 (from market place)
SAP Netweaver 2004s SP18
Any help on this is appreciated.
P.S. Used all possible help from SDN existing posts and SAP notes.

Error while opening Adobe Form Builder

Hi all,
I am trying to open an existing form in Adobe Form builder (TA SFP).
When ever I display a standard form say FP_TEST_01 and go to the layout tab, I get an error saying Error occurred in communication with layout editor. I am using ECC 5.0 system.
Am I missing any configurations?
We have all the required configurations set as mentioned in Configuration guide. (Required for ABAP stack).

We are in Portal implementation face with ECC6 EHP4 and Portal EHP1
We have developed adobe form using HCM forms and processes and done the required configuration in SPRO
When we are trying to open the form from ESS we are getting below error
404 not found
The requested resource does not exist.

Error calling web service from Adobe form

Hi Experts,
While calling web service form my adobe form, i was getting an error as below saying "Error attempting to read from the file" followed by the URL of my web service.
To create the above scenario i followed the following steps:
1. Create a Function module and create a web service from that function module.
2. Through SOAMANAGER, download the WSDL file for the generated web service.
3. Create an Adobe form with an empty Interface and create a new Data Connection on the form using the downloaded WSDL.
4. Generate this adobe form using an ABAP report.
Kindly extend help on this to figure out if I'm missing something!!!

How do I get my XDP form in the SharePoint 2010 Adobe Form library?

I was able to get the Adobe LiveCycle samples for SharePoint to work. For some reason, I can't get my XDP forms to show up in the selection dropdown in the Adobe Form Library on SharePoint using the Adobe LiveCycle SharePoint connector for SharePoint 2010.
Is there a trick that you have to do to the form to make it available. The only difference that I noticed was the sample forms used a guide.
We are using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES3 and we have Adobe LiveCycle server ES4. We are using SharePoint 2010.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I got this problem solved.
Solution:
Create new Adobe Livecyle form
Have an xsd created for the schema of what is going to be in the form
Import that data model when creating the form
Right-click on xsd data connection in form. Click Connection Properties.
Click Next.
Click the checkbox "Embed XML Schema" (This is what I was missing).
Click Finish.
That's it to make the form show up in the SharePoint Adobe Form Library.
