Hi experts,
In normal Shipment we have SD_SHIPMENTS_SAVE.
I would like to ask for your advice that is there any function module
similar to SD_SHIPMENTS_SAVE but can process saving from external application
for TD Shipments ?

I'm a new consultant, and I'm implementing for a Oil & Gas Project. I want to ask you a recommendation about the solution for Organization structure.
This business sell some kind of good:
1) Hydro: mogas, diezel, mazut, kerosense...
2) Non-Hydro: cement, Iron, gas, lubricant...
I should use two org. structure for each kind, or just unique structure. Because each kind is controlled a different method, so I suggest use two org. structure, but its difficult for reporting.

Still SAPGUI 64 bit version not available. You can use SAPGUI 32 bit version in 64bit OS. It will work.

I have system NW701/ECC6, and upgrade EhP4.
Now I want to active business functions for Downstream, in tcode swf5, I select Business functions set OIL&GAS, I found a lot of business functions:

Goods Movement through order confirmation for IS oil material

Hello Experts,
I am doing the goods issue posting through the confirmation transaction CORK for process order. The materials that I am posting are IS oil relevant.
When Iam trying to save the confirmation, system is taking to the screen of additional quantity calculation for each materials. When I maintain the details, system is saving the confirmation. But in case if there is a change in the parameters mentioned for additional quantity calculation, system is not giving any option.
In other goods issue transactions, we can see a calculator button which will take us to the quantity calculation screen, if we double click a line item. But I dont find this option in the goods movement screen through order confirmation transactions.
Is there any way to activate it in confirmation screen also, so that we can individually maintain the qty calculation parameters of each goods issue item?.

Transaction STWB_1 and Test catalog for IS OIL

Cannot find Test catalogs TK IS-OIL* from transaction STWB_1 as mentioned in document Appl_Test_doc_600_1.pdf attached to SAP Note 890458
I tried to do the following from Appl_Test_doc_600_1.pdf:
Call transaction STWB_1 or from the SAP menu, choose: Tools → ABAP Workbench → Test → Test Workbench → Test Organizer → Manage Test Catalog Choose Utilities → Manage Favorites (Shift+F9) The Manage Favorites dialog box appears.
Select Add favorite (Shift+F5) The Favorites dialog box appears.
Enter OIL_ECATT in the Management Data Package field. Choose Execute (F8). Select all three test catalogs
TK IS-OIL APT
TK IS-OIL APTPRA
TK IS-OIL SC Choose Copy (Enter).

I have ECC600 and not 46C as in the not you sent me
Anyway thanks for the support
just for information, in this case we have to Apply ECAK020859.SAR for eCATT and P7IK039071.SAR for custumizing (OSS note 890458)

SOLAR01 - BPR content for Oil and Gas - JVA processes

Hello
We are dealing with the creation of the structure (scenario, processes and steps) for a Oil and Gas project trying to use BPR. In order to locate the right process we are dealing with Solution Composer, with configuration variants from the Oil and Gas Soluton Map. We are not able to find any of those processes in the BPR. We look any process with joint or venture words in it but there is none. We have Solman 7.01, stack 25 and ST-ICO 150 level 27 (the latest available)
Any suggestions?

This entirely a business and consulting decision. In general its good to have different templates for bulk fuels, Crudes, Packed lubes/Gas, and aviation. This still depends on the volume of business in a particular line.

If you have a creative cloud subscription then you are entitled to use CS6, CC and CC2014 versions of Photoshop.
You can download the CC or CS6 version to use the oil paint feature there is no need to go for a refund.

Goods receipt more than intransit quantity for SA

Hi All,
While doing a testing on stock transport order for 2 different company code, noticed that during MIGO in receiving plant system is allowing to receive more than in-intransit quantity for a schedule agreement with agreement type LP and by showing a negative stock in intransit.
Is there anyway to have the system block with error message from preventing user to receive more than intransit quantity for a schedule agreement?

negative stock in transit is not allowed.
so it must originate for a SAP bug.
E,g, OSS note 527403 explains a case for IS-OIL Industry solution.
Oss note 210472 a special case regading previous month.
I found about 60 OSS notes when searching with "in transit negative"

Cost of Goods Sold in IS Oil

Hi Friends,
Could someone help out with what technologies/databases are being used to capture and maintain the Cost of Goods Sold? (e.g., SAP MM examples or something else) ?
I am working on a downstream project for an oil major and would like to determine which technology would be best for storing the cost of goods sold information.

Hi Sam,
Cost of goods can be determined by any business software.I am big fan of SAP so I will suggest that SAP SD(Sales & distribution ) module will suit best to sales applications.You need to have SAP FI also to cater financial transactions.
Actually SAP ERP package conatins different blocks to cater different needs.
Some of important functionality provided by SAP is
Procure to Pay = SAP MM
Order to Cash = SAP SD
Hire to Retire = SAP HR
Cash to Paymane= SAP FI and these are very much integrated features.
