SD: Site Price list vs Customer price group

Hello Gurus,
Can someone help me on this topic " :
The price list defined in customizing (T_Code OVSI, tab Define price list categories for customers) is used to group site in order to maintain the same condition (percentage or amount) for several sites. The price list could be assigned at site level (merchandise category tab) by merchandise category (WRF6-PLTYP_P). It means that the different merchandise categories  could be assigned to different site group.
But when we are talking about customer, we have to maintain the customer list (T_Code OVSI, tab Define pricing group for customers). The customer price group has to be maintained at customer level (KNVV-KONDA). Does it mean that at customer level we can not make the same split (by merchandise category) as it is possible to do it for the site price list? => For the customer, the customer price group is defined for all materials.
Is it correct or do I miss something ?
Furthermore what is the purpose of the Price list field displayed at customer level (KNVV-PLTYP)?
Kind regards
Chris

Both are not related to material
Price list -pltyp- generally used in giving discounts or surchage based on price list  (whole sale/retail price list)
Customer group (konda)/ material group( kondm) also used to divide customers and material in to different group - and in general these are used in fixing base price to the customer- customer group-ex: maharastra/AP/TN
Material group: perishable/non perishable etc..
Thanks

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
I am waiting for the valuable responses.

  • How to copy Sales Quotaton prices to Price List or Special Prices

We frequently use Sales Quotation to communicate deal price offers to customers.  Once these prices are approved, we have to re-type these prices into applicable price lists or special prices.
We are looking for a way to copy these deal prices from Sales Quotation (by Business Partner) over to the applicable price list and special prices?
    Please assist?

I was told by my Implementation Partner that it is possible to import and update price list by using the Import function that is available in SBO.  To do this:
    1. From your sales quotation with the agreed prices - export to excel.
    2. Change the format to list: Product code, Price list to update, New price, Currency
    3. Save the file as tab delimited text
    4. Import into SBO using the Administration, Data Import/Export, Data Import, Import from Excel option.
    5. Choose Item type to import
    6. In the B line, choose Price List Code, the list updates to show only the fields relevant to price list updates
    7. Press OK and follow rest of instructions to complete the import.
I found the above to be simple, repeatable and reliable enough to solve my initial question.

  • Price list based on item group

It would be great to have possibility to set up price lists with different factors based on item groups. Now it can be achieved by setting Period and Volume Discounts. But it doesn't allow to display correct price in Item Master Data or setup rounding.

    Hi,
If I understand you correctly, here is the answer:
    1. An option of create new price list based on Item Cost. YES
    2. Have the ITEM COST as price list. (for AVG and STANDARD items valuation). Not sure what you exact mean. Probably not.
    3. For items with valuation FIFO, can consider other price list only for this items, that include the information over FIFO layer.  Probably not.
    Thanks,

  • IStore: Customer account sites with multiple price list

    Hi,
We have an account with many sites, each site uses different price list. Say 1 site uses FR price list other uses GR price list.
Users are suppose to use specific price list only. How can we have the users use their specific price list.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
For iStore you can setup specialty site based price lists and/or customer account level price lists.
To setup the customer account level price lists -
Set the profile option "IBE: Use Customer Account Price List" at the site level to Yes.
Link the customer to the price list -
    1. Login to Oracle Forms and select Receivables Manager responsibility.
    2. Navigate to Customers > Standard.
    3. Select an account based on Customer Name, Account Number, or Organization Number.
    4. Press the Find button and select an address from the popup window; select Ok.
    5. Select the Order Management tab.
    6. Enter the appropriate price list in the Price List field, and save the form.
    7. Bounce the middle-tier and Web Cache servers.

    OR
You can setup modifiers for Customer (ie Customer Name) and Store (Minisite_ID) on the price list(s)
For this setup you would need to set both "IBE: Use Customer Account Price List" and "IBE: Use Price List Associated with Specialty Site" to No.

I have just created profile class for credit limit and assigned that profile class to the customer what I have created. My actual requirement is When Iam doing sales order with my customer I have to get default order type and price list for it. But Iam unable to get them by default. By default some other value is populated in price list field. So I want to populate order type and price list as per customer.
    Regards,
Bharat G.That is what luko has said..if you wanna know..from where the order type and price list are been defaulted...
you have to visit the defaulting rules..so that we can figure out the sequence for ordertype and pricelist..
If you are still confused..just try and add your price list and ordertype for your customer in ship to location..

  • Customizing BCC UI IN ATG 10 SKU PRICE LISTS TAB

we are working on migrating application from ATG 9 to 10. In our existing implementation we are using pricelists for pricing. we have multiple price lists and sale price for a price list was created by extending the Price item descriptor.
And we have customized the UI under SKU price lists tab to display the SKU sale price.
Now in ATG 10, due to flash based UI, the sale price column is not visible. How to customize UI to display the sale price under pricelists tab in SKU section.
Any alternative design is also helpful.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.
    V@su

You may not want to revisit your price item customization at this point, but you could probably eliminate your customization and the need to customize the Flex UI if you used a sale price list. ATG has always had full support for sale pricing in the SKU-based pricing calculators, but did not have full support for sale pricing in the price list calculators until recently (I think 10.0). With the new out-of-the-box features, you'd store sale prices in separate price lists and assign two price lists to every user, one for list prices and one for sale prices.
I was going to refer you to the Commerce Programming Guide, but the section about implementing sale pricing with price lists has not been updated to match the code. The manual tells you to do things that ATG has already done for you. For example, there is now a salePriceList property defined in the user profile, and the comments in ItemPricingEngine.properties that you can edit to turn on price lists have been updated with the necessary calculator for sale pricing.

Go to header level-->defaulting rules-->go to price list and check the sequence of the pricelists..from where they are been defaulted..for example i have a rule saying that first it has to check for ship to for a customer to check for price list..if there is one it will default or next i have from order type..if in order type i have defined one..it will default that proce list...so check the sequence...if the order is same as above go and add price list in your customer ship to location..

  • Pull Price from basic Price List

    Hi Experts,
Could you help us build a FMS to populate item price in a marketing document from the basic price List (price list 1) if the price is blank, not found in the Special Prices and then in the assigned pricing list for a specific customer?
Let's be more specific with an example:
Items 1 and 2 are on a Special price List for customer C20000.
Items 1, 2, 3 and 4 are on Price List Distributor, which is assigned to C20000.
All items are in the Basic Price List.
Order placed for items 1, 3 and 5.
SBO finds the price for items 1 (from Special Price list) and 3 (Price List Distributor) correctly, it works perfectly. However, price for item 5 is blank. In this case, we want to look for the price from the main price list, let's say price List 1.
The customer can't populate all items in every Price List, as it would be very hard to manage. By the way, Price Lists are entered manually or uploaded, not based on the Basic Price List.
I hope this is clear. Thanks a lot for your prompt answer.
    Regards,
    Andres

    Hi Art,
The issue is actually supported by SBO out of the box. You have three types of prices, and the system looks in the following sequence:
    1. Special pricing by BP - Item. This list includes few items with specific pricing agreements.
    2. Price List assigned to the BP (our customer has one by Customer Group, which includes some items with manual pricing and the rest at the regualr Basic Price List.
    3. Basic Price list. The Group Price Lists are based on the Basic Price list with a factor of 1 (or anything you need). SBO automatically populates all items into the Group Price Lists, except for the items that have already a manual price entered.
The tables that it uses are:
OPLN - List or price lists
ITM1 - Prices lists (actual pricing)
    SPP1 - Special pricing (or SSP2)
In summary, we didn't have to write the FMS.
Let me know if you have any questions.

  • Multiple Price List

    Hi,
Can we have multiple price list customer site wise in iStores. Please provide your inputs and share relevant links or documents if any
    Thanks

    Hello,
We have the profile option to allow customer based price list pricing -
IBE: Use Customer Account Price List -
Implementing Customer Account Price Lists       (see full details in the documentation link http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e13575/T349071T350278.htm#2657210)
Use the following steps to implement customer account price lists:
Step 1 - Set Profile Option
Step 2 - Link Customer to Price List
Step 1 - Set Profile Option
The profile option, IBE: Use Customer Account Price List, controls whether the customer account price lists feature is available to the runtime catalog.
Set at site level to Yes to use the feature. The default value is null, which is treated as No.
If this will not meet your requirements, then please provide more details.

  • Purchase Req & Standard PO - Price is not getting Defaulted from Price List

    Dear All,
    Hope you are doing good!!!
We are implementing R12.1 for one of our client. This query is pertaining to the Advance Pricing with Purchasing. Infact client wants to default the Purchase Requisition and Standard Purchase Order Price from Price List.
I have done entire setup and defined ASL for this reason. But still price is not getting defulted from Contract Purchase Ageerement.
What could be the reason. Its an standard fucntionality but still its not picking up.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me on this. Its URGENT.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Aditya

Let us go through the steps involved in integrating Advanced Pricing with Purchasing so that we know if we have missed anything.
    1. Create Price Lists in Advanced Pricing.
    2. Setup Profile Options in System Administrator responsibility:
QP: Licensed for Product - at Application: Purchasing level = Purchasing.
QP: Pricing Transaction Entity - at Application: Purchasing level = Procurement
    ( Site level - ‘Order Fulfillment’ )
Profile option can be set at site, application, and user levels.
QP: Source System Code – at Application: Purchasing level = Oracle Purchasing
    ( Site level -- ‘Oracle Pricing’ )
Profile can be set at site and responsibility levels.
QP: Item Validation Organization - at Application: Purchasing level = null
( Site level -- specified in Financial Options )
Profile option can be set at site and responsibility levels.
    3. Add item to the Price list Advanced Pricing ->Price Lists -> Price List Setup.
    Enter the item/price/dates etc.
    4. Create Contract Purchase Agreement.
    5. Create Approved Suppliers List. In the Source Documents, select the Type as Contract and reference the Contract Agreement Number.
Create the Sourcing Rule and add the Rule to the Assignment Set.
    6. Create the Standard Purchase Order referencing the Contract Purchase Agreement in the Reference Documents.
The Price listed should be defaulted from the Price Lists.
Cross-Check the following steps and let me know if it still fails and we can try to resolve from then on :)

  • Authorization Issue: BOM is connected to Price List

We have users that need to be able to create and change the composition of BOM's and they do not have to care about prices. They even should not have the possibility to manipulate the price lists. However, I can not lock the authorization for price lists for them because for changing BOM's authorizations for price list is needed as well.
    This should be separated.
    Thank
    Franz

    You can try this:
    1. create a price list for this group of users
    2. link this price list to a price list group
    3. give the access to this price list group to this group of users.
