Sdk1.4.1_01 installation, very important plz plz help

ok I just spent a freakin hour and a half downloading this, and now it says we recommend you do not install this software, the reason is your operating system does not have service pack 2, continue anyway? should I continue? if not, which latest SDK should I download that supports my computer? I just wiped out sdk1.3.1_04, it worked fine until it never compiled anything, which was recent, so I decided to get rid of it and install the new one. should I continue? plz this is important. thx in advance

thx for trying, but I can't download now parents aren't here (I cna't wait till I buy my laptop, this computer would be accepted at a musuem for ancient display) I'll just stick with SDK1.3.1_04 for now, then buy the laptop. does the tutorial need SDK1.4.1_01??? hopefully not, thx for trying anyway

JSDK2.0 installation ...Plz help

I am new to Java programming. My OS is Windows ME.I am using JDK1.3(in c:\jdk1.3\) and in order to run the SERVLETS I recently installed the JSDK2.0(in c:\jsdk2.0).I updated the class path to c:\jsdk2.0\bin and c:\jsdk2.0\lib\jsdk.jar .Now I wrote a simple servlet program SimpleServlet.java and saved it in c:\MyPrograms.
Now when I compiled this program at prompt as follows
C:\MyPrograms\>javac SimpleServlet.java
               I am getting the following errors
1)Package javax.servlet doesn�t exist
2)Package jaavx.servlet.http doesn�t exist
Can somebody please tell me where I went wrong. My guess is that the problem is with installing JSDK. Somebody please let me out this problem.

Problem in a webdynpro abap component - Really very urgent PLZ help me

Hi Experts,
I am working with FITV_POWL_TRIPS webdynpro component.In that my requirement is to keep a button and input fields near the create travel request button and to add some functionalities.
I worked in the component , unfortunately the component get corrupted. i don't know how to retrieve the component to its original state.I tried with version management but no use.
Can anybody suggest me how to retrieve the component. Any of your inputs is valuable to me.
if the patch should be installed is the only way mean plz tell me the patch details.
Actually FITV_FPM , this component get damaged. This component is under FITV_POWL_TRIPS.

Really i failed to use the enhancement mode to work with that POWL component.Actually the thing i did is added an attribute directly to the component controller of that component and binded it to the drop down then activated , it shows some error "Configuration missing error" so again i deleted that attribute and reactivated it again but it shows the same error. so i tried to retrieve it back from version.But failed, then compared with other system the methods and attributes are same as it is.Finally copied the methods and code from that system though all are same in two systems, then activated.No error now.But clicking on the "create request" button the component shows a road map step with 1 as completed status.It looks with the following information

Completed
and with two buttons one is disabled and thats capiton is Previous step and the other is exit that is enabled
when i clicked that exit button it again goback to the intial screen of FITV_POWL_TRIPS.
Before it shows with some 3 or 4 road map steps with some different status.
Tell me any other way to retrieve it.As the patch to be reinstalled is the solution means please tell in which patch this resides.Technically i want to retrieve it, going for patch update is secondary and i go for that if and only if there is no other way.

You can create a new item under that table region and changed its style as MessageTextInput or MessageStyledText depending on your requirement and associate it with transient attribute or any other attribute of VO for which you want it to associate.
For old one you can simply delete that field in OAF table region and in VO,you can edit VO by movinf that field by arrow sign.

I have tried using the toString() method, but still I am able to print only the internet address only .

Hello! I recently did a restore on my MacBook Pro- that was not smart as I have now lost a ton of documents and I really need those back. I should have icloud and I have time machine. Please tell me if those documents are out there and how I can retrieve them? I would be happy to go back to the status I was a few days ago before the restore.

Unfortunately what you are trying to do is a little more complicated than just posting some code.
To get the message content and any attachments you need to "parse" the MIME message you get from the store. An email will (should) be a multipart mime construct. You need to get all the "Parts" out of the message and put them into your relevant database fields.
The "header" elements can be obtained just using the methods of the Message objects you are getting back. Have a look at the javadoc for the javax.mail.Message abstract class.
As for example code, here's some old code I had lying around which parses a multipart message to get the various parts.
There is a sample "main" method which should explain how it works:

okay so i bought the new ipod video 30 gig, like a few days ago. i just bought two episodes of Lost from season 2, the first two episodes of the season. they play fine on my computer on itunes, they wont play on my ipod. this is what happens: i click on the episode, it pauses for 3 seconds and than a blue/purple screen comes up for like 6 seconds and than it goes back tothe menu with the two episodes.
i also bought the new CD from Anti-Flag today as well from itunes, they play fine on itunes but on my ipod it skips from song to next song without playing it but when i plug it in my computer it says it played X number of times.
plz help me.

Part 1:
1. Navigate to \iPod_Control\iTunes on the iPod in Windows Explorer. You may have to turn on Show Hidden Files and folders. To do this, go to Tools-->Folder Options, click the view tab, click the bubble to show hidden files and folders, click Apply, and click OK. Look for the presence there of a file named iEKInfo. Is it there? If so, make a copy of this onto your computer somewhere. While there, make a copy of iTunesDB also. Don't delete these copies.
2. Create a new, administrator user in Windows . (Start-->control panel-->user accounts-->create a new account)
3. Log out of the current user.
4. Log into the new user.
5. Restore the iPod as documented in this article:

6. Open iTunes.
7. Set the Music sync preference in iTunes for the iPod to Manual mode.
8. Download the free single of the week from the iTunes Music Store.
9. Verify that the song plays in iTunes.

12. Disconnect the iPod from the computer.
Does the song play?
If the iPod is able to play this song, follow these steps:
Part 2:
1. Log out of the new user.
2. Log back into the original (affected) user.
3. Reconnect the iPod to the computer.
4. Drag some of the older purchased content (that would not play before) to the iPod.
5. Eject the iPod from iTunes.
6. Disconnect the iPod from the computer.
Does the affected content play?
Is the iPod still having the same issue? Try these possible solutions:
Part 3:
* Delete the SC Info.sidb file as documented in http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302386.
