SDM-Deployment tool not available

Hi,
i searched the forum for deployment matters but didn't quite find the right topic - so here goes another deployment question.
I installed SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
Version: 2.0.3 and I want to use a remote WAS 6.20 (the J2EE)--> I set up the J2EE Engine according to window->preferences->SAP J2EE Engine (I entered the IP of the remote machine and port 50000)
somewhere in the helpfiles i also read the "Software Deployment Tool" is also under preferences accessible - hmmmpff - not in mycase. The Point is, I did the calculator tutorial with all the jar ear war files and can't deploy...
<b>can somebody tell me how i get my stuff in the remote WAS 6.20 and then - when I log on to the remote SAP-System, where I start the application?</b>

Use the <b>Deploy tool</b> that comes on the WAS 6.20 Client CD.
After that, if you look under Start --> Programs --> SAP J2EE engine 6.20 --> Tools you will find the deploy tool.
And don't try to use the Netweaver Studio features with WAS 6.20, as a general rule of thumb they won't work as they are designed for the 6.40.

Allignment tool not available with the Student Version?

Is the Allignment tool not available with the Student Version? It appears to be clickable yet no action… Is there a preference I'm missing?

Educational is a full version.
You need to select (at least) two objects, then apply the deired Align operation(s).
If something is really wrong, you may have a look at the list below.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

if your system is UNIX then pls check the sap note: 1013976 JSPM GUI does not work properly on UNIX.
in case the above suggestion did not help then pls chekc the below link, you may need to edit "JSPM/param/jspm_config.txt" file (first take a backup of this file then edit the file. note you need to relunch the JSPM after editting the file).

Office Deployment tool not trying to install 32 bit verion where OfficeClientEdition is set to 32

We used the Office Deployment tool to download the 32 bit version of Office 2013. Now when we try to deploy the 32 bit version we received an error. This is on a 64 bit Windows 7 PC.
Here is the configuration XML file

Here is the line in the log file that shows the download error.

The Deployment tool is looking for the i641033.cab file which is the 64 bit version. We want to install the 32 bit version so we did not download the 64 bit version.
If I try to install the 64 bit version by changing the OfficeClientEdition="64" the deployment tool installs the 64 bit version fine from the internet as I have not downloaded the 64 bit version.

As tested, i641033.cab is also part of 32-bits Office installation source. When you have 32-bits Office downloaded, you should see i641033.cab under ...\Office\Data\15.0.4615.1002\ (in your case).
Looks like the installer was having an issue downloading i641033.cab, try to download the source file again, or manually download i641033.cab, then try again.

Red eye tool not available

I'm using iPhoto 4.0.3 on my G5. When I open iPhoto the enhance tool and retouch tool are available, but the red eye tool is grey and is not able to be activated by clicking on it. How can I make the red eye tool work?

Have you tried making a selection of the area that needs the red-eye correction? iPhoto is good, but it really has no way to tell where (or even, whether) eyes are depicted in an image, Slap a marquis around the carnation in a photo depicting nothing but a flower arrangement, and it will gladly remove the red.

Touchup Object tool not available to colleague with Acrobat 9

Is the TouchUp Object tool only available in Acrobat 9 Pro? A colleague who has Acrobat 9 Standard doesn't appear to have it in his Advanced Editing options. Is there something that can be done to make that option available? I looked at the comparison chart and it didn't indicate there was any difference.

Track Mask Tool Not Available in AE CC 12.0.0.404?

I am trying to use the Track Mask tool in AE to do a simple track on a sign in my footage. But, after watching several tutorials, it seems that the track mask tool simply is not available in this version.
I have tried command clicking with mask path selected, looked under Animation for an option, and command clicked the mask layer itself on the footage, and have not seen the track mask option.
Like I said in the title, I am running 12.0.0.404. Does anyone know what version the Track Mask tool became available?
I need an Administrator to update, which I am willing to take care of if it means this tool will become available.

I can understand not going to 13.1 in case you don't like the new interface (which is improved somewhat in 13.2, by the way), but you should definitely be on the latest version of 12 for all the bug fixes and new features! (Although, in my experience the latest version of 13 runs really nicely.)

Database mappings with Deploy Tool not working

I am using the deploy tool to deploy a CMP Bean. After I have mapped all columns to the database fields and click on the Save button, all the columns which are mapped to the database fields are gone and as a result the mappings xml file is not generated when i delploy the bean. Is there any solution to this problem or is it that i am making some mistakes with the procedure.

I had this same issue - drove myself bananas for a while.
Its a proceedure issue - you, like I was doing, keep unmapping your cmp beans .
First, capture your schema for your databases using the "capture-schema" command
Add the schema files to your .jar file using the "Edit Contents" button on the "General" Tab.
(Sounded like you got past all this, but I'll put it all here for the use of others)
When you deploy an Entity bean:
You click on "Sun Specific Settings" and select the "CMP Database" tab from pull down.
Heres where it gets you: The "Create Database Mappings"
Every time you add an entity bean to the jar, you were probably selecting the "Create Database Mappings" button to start mapping your entity bean. (I was too). But, doing so Un-maps all of the entity beans you already have in that Jar!!! I drove myself nutts with this, until I figured out where it was happening.
use "Create Database Mappings" only once: for the first Entity bean you put into a jar.
NEVER TOUCH IT AGAIN!!! - It will delete all your entity CMP mappings
After that, when you add additional CMP entity beans, use the "Advanced Settings" button on the same panel. Then select the appropriate schema...and then map your beans.

Printer Setup Utility "Utility" tool not available

I have a Canon Pixma ip4200. I am trying to clean the print heads, which is done through the "Utility" option in the title bar of the Print Setup Utility. However, that option is dimmed (or greyed) and not accessible. I have re-installed the driver, and re-installed the printer, but it is still not available. Any help?

Why are web developer tools not available on Firefox for Android?

I do some freelance web design. I just replaced my laptop with a tablet last year (Samsung Galaxy 10.5 S). I want to do web development on it - I work from a terminal doing Ruby on Rails and web development all the time. It would be awesome to have the F12 developer tools handy in Firefox for Android, but sadly I've waited for a while and there is no indication they will ever appear.
Do NOT suggest using a remote debugger - I'm not testing the layout of pages on my tablet, I want to be able to profile, view source (without an add-on) and such. I have seen this exact question marked closed by suggesting remote debugging, and I fail to see how telling me to use my tablet next to a laptop or desktop is a solution. Telling me to carry a second device means I don't need the tablet at all, when my intention is to ONLY use the tablet.
My tablet has a huge screen resolution and a powerful processor - more powerful than some laptops? Why is Firefox for Android neutered? I would understand disabling it by default to help those with less powerful devices, but why remove something that would add a competitive edge to your product, and is already integrated in desktop Firefox and has been for years? I prefer Firefox, but if Chrome adds web developer tools for Android first, I'll switch to Chrome.
There are people today using a tablet as their sole computing device. Please do not relegate us to a second-class Firefox experience!

InDesign Type on a Path tool not available in toolbar

My InDesign 6 does not have a Type on a Path tool. The type tool icon in the tool bar does not have a fly-out option where I should be able to find it. I'm pretty sure it was there at one time. Any suggestions on how to restore this?

I must say though. Although I wanted to just clean the Indesign app. I ended up having to clean the entire CS.
I tried using the Enterprise Clean Tool to just select Indesign, but had trouble following the directions on entering code into Terminal.
It would be more user friendly if when you open the Cleaner Tool app it would then ask you what App(s) you want to clean.

Pointer tool not available with single track

I would like to adjust the volume using keyframes.
When I edit a clip from Premiere Pro in Adobe Audition the sound track waveform appears on Audition but I cannot adjust the volume using keyframes.
The pointer tool and other tools are greyed out.
Do I have to go to a multi track configuration to use the keyframes?

Basically yes you have to have your file open on a track in the Multitrack view in order to Volume envelopes with keyframes. However the is a Gain Envelope to which you can add keyframes under Effects/Amplitude and Compression but, unlike in Multitrack, it is not real time and has to be processed.

Stabilization tool not available

I can't access the stabilization tool in iMovie. In fact, none of the tools show as available except cropping.
How do I fix this?

I tried some of the things I found in another forum post but when I go to the "Yahoo Member Center" there is no option to Unlink my Account. Here is what I see
