SDM password when running and deploying webdynpro application

Hi
I developed a simple webdynpro application, no eventing just displays text. I rebuild it and then 'run and deploy' application. While doing this it pops up with a dialog box asking for a SDM password.
Is this deploying correctly?
Any assistance is much appreciated

Hi Dajee,
Yes it is deploying correctly. Give sdm as password it sould work if you don't have changed the default password of SDM.

  • IMac (2008) OS10.6.8 - Main menu freezes when running more than one application at a time.  Apple and 3rd party applications - all freeze the main menu.  Safe mode seems to work OK. Tried repairing permissions - didn't work.

For the past 60 days I've experienced Main Menu freeze when running more than one application at a time.  iPhoto, Preview, Text Edit, Epson Scan, Firefox and Thunderbird are the apps I use almost daily.  No matter what I do, when more than one is running they will freeze the Main Menu (top of the screen).  I've tried booting is Safe Mode and I don't seem to have a problem.  I've tried several suggestions from repairing permission (DiskUtility) to eliminating specifis login items.  Nothing works. I've posted this issue on the Apple forum several times and no one else has experienced this problem.  I hesitate to take my iMac to the Apple Store or a private Apple repair service until I've exhausted all of my options.  Do I have any more options?

Question:  Everytime an app crashes I have the option to report it to Apple - which I usually do.  But I've NEVER reported a Main Menu freeze because it never asks me to
There's really no need to submit to Apple, it's just a round file cabinet on the other end, especially with 10.6 or earlier.
This sure sounds like a resource problem...
See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH7029
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

  • Invalid username/password  when running VSM1.3

Hi, I have the issue of invalid username/password when running VSM 1.3.
When I ran authentication.java , I got the error as follow:
oracle: Exception thrown from getService method of ServiceLocator class: Lookup error:javax.naming.AuthenticationException:Invalid username/password for current-workspace-app(admin);nested exception is: javax.naming.AuthenticationException:Invalid username/password for current-workspace-app(admin)
When running the web app, I got same message "Invalid username/password ".
I checked the database. There are 4 records for admin, apparelowner, electowner and guest.
My oracle db has japanese character set.
I have read all the threads about the topic of VSM.
But unfortunately I didn't find a clear conclusion and solution for this issue.
Is it an issue of locale? Really appreciate your reply.

  • UV-SO when partitioned and deployed

    Hi there,
I have a question related to User-Visible Service
    Object(UV-SO) when partitioned and deployed.
According to TechNote 9674:Service Object Visibility,
"if a partition only contains UV-SOs, there will be
one of these partitions per user". This means, if a
partition only contains a UV-SO, this UV-SO is reachable
    outside its partition.
    I did some tests. I let an EV-SO call a UV-SO. When I
ran it in partition workshop(EV-SO and UV-SO are in
separate server partitions), I got exception raised
complaining "Cannot resolve the distributed reference
for the UV-SO". Then I deployed this project with the
same partition configuration, and it works without any
error. It looks like there is difference between
partitioning and deploying. What the TechNote(9674)
mentions is correct for deployment, but not for
    partition workshop.
Does anybody have any idea about this?

It would appear that the error has now been corrected.  There were three things I changed:  the startup.aliases file in the startup directory on the target (home:/lvuser/natinst/bin) had "localhost" set as the alias for the controller.  I changed this to the controller's IP address.  Next, I had some file I/O functions in my RT application which used paths relative to the path obtained with the "Current VI's Path" VI.  As this path changes depending on location / execution system, I had to create a VI which used the Application:Kind property with a case structure to appropriately strip / build the desired data file paths regardless of execution system.  This may have broken my RT application.  Finally, I had a property node in one of my RT SubVIs which attempted to modify an indicator in the SubVI, which is not supported in a compiled RT executable.  I may have done this for debugging purposes somewhere along the way, but in any case, I removed it, and after recompiling and deploying the RT executable, everything seems to be working as intended now.  The host VI on the desktop computer can connect to the RT application through the project, and when compiled into an executable, that works too.

  • How to Build and Deploy Flex application in EP6

    Hi All,
Can anyone tell how to build and deploy Flex application in EP6.
I want to build a normal application in flex and present it through iviews. How do I configure my Iiview to have flex component running in Portal Environment.

A good book to start with is Enterprise JavaBeans by Monson-Haefel (O'Reilly press). It covers deployment of EJBs on J2EE servers. Also check out sites specific to your server, sometimes they have specific requirements (like Weblogic).

This is a step by step, how to run and deploy JavaFX applets on Linux/Fedora

    Hope you find it useful.

Something like this should workjava -cp /path-to-external-jar:SMSClient.jar TheMainClassWhen you use the -jar option, the -cp option is ignored. If you want to use -jar, you can add a Class-Path entry into theSMSClient jar's manifest with the relative path to the external jar.

    Hi,
when i am trying to deploy it asking for the SDM password. I have installed NWD workplace in my pc locally. still i am unable to deploy and run the program.
please help me, and suggest me steps to get rid of this problem.

Even if your project is not on DTR, ie. local developement you require J2EE sever to deploy your applicaltion.
Go to windows>preferences>SAp J2ee wngine-->set the sever and port.
If its your local WAs set localhost and port 3601.
when you will delpoly the Application, it will ask you for SDM password.
