SDP-Library -- SIMPLE-Library?

Hello everyone,
I'd like to implement the SDP-Protocol in combination with SIP in J2ME.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible to combine the SIP-Stack with this SDP-Implemenatation

2. Where is the library (source code) ?
3. I'd like to create a chat based to SIP

Where is the library again ?
Thanks for your help in advance.

I am trying to backup my Itunes onto my external hard drive. I am at the step where I on Itunes, click on File ->Library ->Organize library. I am suppose to check mark both boxes there, the first being "Consolidate Files" & the second being "Reorganize files in the folder 'Itunes Media'. I am able to checkmark the first box but It won't allow me to check mark the second box, why? How can i fix this? Please help!

Well you must have made a mistake somewhere. The last instruction of step four reads:
When you've found your iTunes library folder, drag that folder to your external hard drive. This will begin the iTunes backup. The amount of time the backup will take depends on the size of your library. When the transfer is done, your backup is complete and your external hard drive can be disconnected.
Normally dragging content from to a new location on a different drive will result in a copy action which is what you were supposed to do. At a guess you somehow managed to move the iTunes folder. Then when you started iTunes it created a new blank library for you assuming it had just been installed rather that raising a warning.
Close iTunes. Rename the iTunes folder on the internal drive as iTunes (Empty) then copy the iTunes folder from the external back into the User's Music folder. Start iTunes. All should be well.
When you've made sure it all works please read my User Tip and use that method to backup in future. Since you already have a folder with the backup in place you can skip the "Make New" operation in the fourth step and simply choose the external folder.

If both have Firewire ports then you can accomplish your goal by using Target Disk Mode. If this is not possible then you can do using an external drive or if you have a local network connect both to your network and use filesharing between the two computers.

  • Can't upgrade iPhoto Library - 'unable to write to library "iPhoto Library"'

I apologise in advance if this is a little convoluted.
I have a MacBook Pro purchased a little over a year ago and I'm not sure what version of iPhoto is was running. It had a meltdown when I tried to upgrade to Mountain Lion and was ably serviced and returned to me with all my data heroically saved and stored in a shared folder.
When I got it back I upgraded successfully to Mountain Lion and installed all the iPhoto updates. After a false start, and having to reinstall iPhoto I am now running 9.4.3.
I have shifted my old iPhoto Library out of the shared folder and into the Pictures folder where it sits alongside the pretty much empty iPhoto Library created automatically by the install. When I try to open my old Library it says it needs to be upgraded, which makes sense, but immediately after the upgrade commences I get an error message saying 'Unable to write to library "iPhoto Library" Check that you have permission to write to the library directory'. I am not sure what to do from this point.
I have verified that the photos are all still in the old iPhoto Library Package.
    Thank you.
    Melanie

Hang on - I had browsed extensively, but it was only after I wrote my question that all the other similar ones popped up on the side bar. I've followed the advice in some of those and it seems to be working. I apologise, but I seem to be unable to delete this discussion.

  • I want to move a movie from Shared Library to LIbrary, how do I do this?

I want to move a movie from Shared Library to LIbrary, how do I do this?

this extra info helps a lot. with home sharing you should be able to just import the file from your iMac into your MBP. this is the way i've done it at home.
-just make sure both are on with itunes open
    -select your imac's library
    - hightlight the file you want then click on import towards the bottom of the screen.

There is a framework missing in your System library. You need to reinstall MacOS X to restore the dynamic library:

How are you launching iPhoto? From your Dock? The Dock icon may still be linked to an older iPhoto version. Just to be sure, you are opening really iPhoto 9.6, launch iPhoto by double-clicking the iPhoto icon in your applications folder. Your crash log  with the the "Library not found" error message should show the version number of iPhoto. Which version is it showing?

  • TS2551 Library iPhoto Library "is open in (null)"

Running 10.7.4 on my MacBook Pro and using a LaCie as backup for my iPhoto Library (version 11, at least last time opened....) called  “iPhoto Library Orange”. When trying to access my backup I get the message
"The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto. Your photo library will not be readable by previous versions of iPhoto after the upgrade. The upgrade process for very large libraries may take an hour or more to complete."
    Clicking Upgrade gives following:
"The library “iPhoto Library Orange” is open in (null). To open this library in iPhoto you must quit (null)." Only alternative is Cancel (Continue-button is inactive), which quits iPhoto.
No problems earlier, whats this sudden problem? How can I proceed?
    Rgds Tom

Back up your iPhoto library and depress the option and command keys and launch iPhoto - repaire permissions
If this does not do it

post this response in another thread - some reported it worked - some reported that it did no - I have not tested
To fix it, you need to right click on the iPhoto Library and chooke Show Package Contents. Delete iPhotoLock.data, and then go to Database/apdb/ and delete lockfile.pid. Somehow this lockfile gets kind of stuck, with no PID inside causing the "(null)" part of the error message.

  • The library "Aperture Library" is open in (null)

When I try and load Aperture I get the msg to repair the database. When I try to do this I get the message "The library "Aperture Library" is open in (null). To open this library in Aperture you must quit (null). I have tried the advice given in another support community question to find a file "lockfile.pid" and delete it. I have searched and can find no such file on my computer. Need help desperately as there as my recent photos haven't been backed up yet.

    Did Aperture crash somehow?
What I think happened is that as of Aperture 3.3, you can share libraries between Aperture and iPhoto.  But, because you cannot have the library open in two applications at the same time, there is a "lock file" which is saved to disk when one of the applications has the library open.  Normally when you quit Aperture (or iPhoto), it will delete the lock file, and so you won't see this message.
If the library is open in Aperture or iPhoto and one of them crashes, the lock file persists and you can see something like this.  If you had issues during migration and force quit Aperture, it's possible this is what's going on.  And then in general removing the lock file resolves the issue.
I haven't done enough digging in the Aperture library to know exactly where it stores this lock file, but I'm certain it does so.

  • When I try to open the shared library on the 2nd computer (the one I want to xfer music to), the only songs that come up are those that are already in that same library (the library on the 2nd computer).  While I can see computer

When I try to open the shared library on the 2nd computer (the one I want to xfer music to), the only songs that come up are those that are already in that same library (the library on the 2nd computer).  While I can see computer #1 listed under 'shared,' when I click on it the only songs I can see are those that I already have on the 2nd computer.  Hopefully that makes sense.  Basically, the library from computer #1 isn't loading up.

What level of OS X is installed on your Mac (your profile is incomplete)?

  • Duplicate files created after library consolidate library

I have been trying to clean up everything. I have several iTunes libraries. The one I have selected in preferences is on an external HD, it was up and running. I went to library>consolidate library. When I went to look at the actual files in my selected ext. HD iTunes folder, nearly EVER song (several 1000's) had a duplicate, tune.mp3 and now tune 1.mp3. ***??? Where did they come from? Did iTunes gather all of the files up from other itunes folders & copy them???
How do I get rid of the duplicates?
    What a mess...
They don't show in the iTunes window. Just in the file folder.

    Hi,
Then you may need to monitor the behavior to see if you can find out the cause.
First you can enable Audit on that folder to get the account who create the /1 file. You need to set Audit in 2 settings:
    1. Configure "audit object access" in AD Group Policy or on the server's local GPO. This setting is located under Computer Configuration-->Windows Settings-->Security Settings-->Local Policies-->Audit Policies. Enable success/failure auditing
    for "Audit object access."
    2. Configure an audit entry on the specific folder(s) that you wish to audit. Right-click on the folder-->Properties-->Advanced. From the Auditing tab, click Add, then enter the users/groups whom you wish to audit and what actions you wish to audit
    - auditing Full Control will create an audit entry every time anyone opens/changes/closes/deletes a file, or you can just audit for Delete operations.
Also you can try Process Monitor to see if you can capture the exact process when the file is created. However as the issue occurs randomly it may take your time to get an accurate trace.

  • Library within Library after installation of v10.6?

    Description:
Finder displays HD/Library, System/Library and User/Library. Yet, within User/Library there is another folder "Library".
"Get Info" reveals 132.3 MB on disk (116,563,598 bytes) for 3,455 items for User/Library, while for the additional "Library" it reveals 78.1 MB on disk (67,332,757 bytes) for 2,448 items.
A comparison of the two folders yields the following: a) User/Library contains two (2) folders that "Library" does not. One, of course, is "Library". The other is Receipts. b) "Library" contains one (1) folder that User/Library does not. It is named Voices.
Moreover, a random comparison of the contents for some folders within User/Library and "Library" also reveals a difference in the number of folders.

    Any helpful ideas about this?

  • IPhoto 9.2.1 crashes immediately after opening. When launched, it says, "Upgrading Library: scanning library."

When launched, it says, "Upgrading Library: scanning library." Then it crashes. I have lots of Christmas presents to order with my photos from this year so I need to get it figured out asap. Any assistance would be appreciated. THANKS!

    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
