SDTray.exe error message

When starting computer, I get an SDTray.exe error message. I have Windows 7 64-bit on model e9280t. The messages says system can't start because snlBase150.bpl is missing from computer. When I close this message, the computer runs normally, as far as I can tell. Is there something I can do to correct this error message?

Are you using a trial version of Spybot - Search & Destroy 2?
If so, that is what is causing the message. Use the Spybot Search & Destroy uninstaller to remove the program and the message shuold go away.

Hi,
Oracle usually installs it's own JDK for it's usage. Probably the paths are updated so that iAS is not able to use java that is bundled along with it. Please check the version of java at the command prompt by issuing..."java -fullversion". Please let me know the outcome for me to help you further on this.

HT1926 Version 11.1.4.62 on WinXP issue: AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exe error message every 30 seconds. iTunes hangs when iPhone4 is syncronized

Version 11.1.4.62 on WinXP issue: I have re-installed iTunes according to instructions. iTunes give me the error message "AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exe has found an error and terminates. Restarting service does not help. Re-installing does not help. iTunes cannot update iPhone4S, iTunes hangs when trying after iPhone syncronization.

Boot Camp setup.exe error message

So I installed Windows 7 Home Premium using Boot Camp on my Macbook Air and everything worked. However, my mac didn't come with an OS X disk, it just came with the OS X. Anyway, so I found setup.exe in the USB with all the drivers in it. So I ran it but recieved this error message:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an 86x (32-bit) of 64x (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
How can I fix this?

This also happens whenever I try to install drivers seperately.

I keep getting a SETUP.EXE error message when downloading firefox 3.6.10

Each time I have attempted to open firefox 3.6.10 after downloading is completed I receive an error message that states "Setup has caused an error in SETUP.EXE, setup will close now. Try restarting your computer and try again". I have done this for each of my last three sessions, what can I do.

You can try KernelEx to get Firefox 3+ to work, but it would be very slow with an old PC of less than 750Mhz.

Devcon.exe error message

Hi, My wan miniport adapters stopped functioning recently (exclamation signs on each of them). I tried uninstalling the broken miniports by right clicking and hitting uninstall but that wouldn't work, but was able to uninstall them through
a method found on spiceworks "55611- fix-broken wan-miniports" (Microsoft won't let me post links). The problem I'm having (since I don't have internet access due to these broken miniports) is reinstalling the wan miniports. It appears
(although please let me know if there is an easier way) that the only solution has been to reinstall them by using devcon.exe. I've tried downloading WDK onto another computer (downloaded from Microsoft website) and then putting all
files downloaded onto a thumbdrive to get devcon.exe onto my broken computer. My computer installs WDK, but when I click on devcon.exe (for amd64), nothing happens. When I click on the x64 version, I receive an error message indicating
that this version is not compatible with my computer. If I try to access devcon.exe from WinDbg "Open Executable" and the click on "devcon" that way, I receive the following error message below. Would be ever so grateful if anyone

Thanks.  Yesterday, I was able to get devcon.exe to run but was only able to reinstall some of the broken wan miniports. Commands are below for the ones that did not install. Still do not have internet access. By any chance,
do you know why this could be? Also, I would think Microsoft would have an easier solution to the broken miniports problem than this, but have not been able to come across one. Thanks again for your help.

Font Capture and Photoshopserver.exe Error Messages

Often after using Encore CS4 and/or Premiere Pro CS4 I try to shut down my computer but I ger error messages about Font Capture and Photoshopserver.exe. Any ideas?

I do have the same problem with Premiere Pro CS4 running on a PC (Windows XP Prof. 32-bit SP3)
It crashes randomly. My system meets all minimum requirements. Tried to reproduce the error, but no chance. I updated all drivers and Adobe updates, but nothing changed.
I am editting in a "Sony XDCAM EX 1080p" Sequence using material from the PMW-EX1 and Canon EOS 7D. The material of the 7D causes a lot more crashes than the EX footage.
In adition to the Font Capture error I get also this error:

Does somebody have any ideas? I searched the web for some time no, but couldn´t find any solutions. Even if it isn´t Adobe´s fault, they should figure out the issue, because there are severel users having the same problem. I am thinking to update to CS5, but I actually would like to put my energy into my work and not into any system issues.

You seem to be the go-to guy with these types of errors. I'm quite impressed by your thoroughness! My error began showing up a few weeks ago when I updated iTunes to 11.1.5.5. The error doesn't seem to get in the way of iTunes working, or my syncing Windows XP / iPhone, but this error message pops up every 10 minutes or so with a loud "don't do that!" noise, which is mildly irritating and I'd love for it to go away.
Error: com.apple.DotMacSync.client.exe Entry Point Not Found. X The procedure entry point objc_exception_try_enter could not be located in the dynamic link library obj.dll
This seems to be a bit different from other users, but perhaps the same response - to uninstall your list of programs and reinstall iTunes is the best strategy?

ITunesHelper.ex.exe error message

Every time I start up my computer I get the following Program error message:
"iTunesHelper.ex.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log has been generated"
I have Windows Professional 2000. This started after I downloaded the last update on iTunes (6, I think) around October maybe early November. I am able to use iTunes and update my iPod with out any problems.
This is just annoying that it pops up everytime I start up my computer. Thanks for any advise offered.

Sorry I did not include full information of the error message, it is: "Font Capture: AcroRd32Info.exe, Application Error", (the rest is the same)
I uninstalled Adobe Reader v9.3.2 from the computer, restarted and opened the pdf files. The error message did not appear.
I then downloaded and installed Adobe Reader v9.3.2 and restarted the computer. I opened a PDF file, and the error message appearred again. The PDF's are Adobe Acrobat file types when the mouse is hovered over them but they open in Adobe Reader, is this right?
I have followed "I_know_nothing_alls" advice as far as completing the "workaround" steps for the Application Error dialog box, but I question that the fixes for the Automatic Update & BITS services are really relevant, but thanks anyway. Step 3 could not be completed, as the word "net" would not be recognised by the computer. I will try the hotfixes with I assume the option to install to FAT32 at start up, though I hope to install Ubuntu OS and multiboot software again on the computer and might have to undo this again.

AcroRd.32Info.exe error message

After opening a webpage saved as a pdf file (via print) on the computer, the following error message appears:
"Acro.Rd32Info.exe -The instruction at "Ox.0700609c referenced memory at 0x00000014. The memory could not be "read"Click OK to terminate the program".
OS is windows xp sp3
I use IE V8 and firefox v.3.6
Other application software are: Adobe Acrobat Pro v7, Adobe reader v9, and Abbey Fine Reader Pro v10.
Any advice to fix it would be appreciated.

I can never understand why people post product support questions in the forums' forum...?
It seems that, depending on how and from where, one accesses the Adobe fora, they end up here, and never realize that they missed the chosen product forum. I used to think that it was a series of "rabbit holes" and these opened up, to swallow unsuspecting newbies, but many Adobe folk have pointed out that with the wrong clicks, the posters get dumped here, and do not notice the title of the forum. If you notice, the majority of such posters have few posts under their belts.
For old timers, it does seem odd, but we are usually accessing from other directions, than the first-time user with an issue stressing them out.
Going back about a year, it seemed that half of the posts, that were intended for the Dreamweaver forum, ended up here. There were even some Threads to the effect of - This is not the Dreamweaver Forum, please do not post here. They got bumped daily, so they would appear at the top of the main forum page, and many never bothered to read the big, bold headline of the first Thread on the main page. They just posted their Dreamweaver question here, never realizing that they were "not in Kansas anymore... " The number has decreased lately, so maybe Adobe has been able to plug a few of those rabbit holes?
Usually, after a helpful user, such as yourself, notifies them, there is an "Oops moment," apologies and a thank you for the correct forum link - but not always. A few have gotten huffy about their own mistake, and their bodies have yet to be found.

Javac.exe Error Message

I recently Installed jdk1.2.2 on my home computer and now every time I go to compile a programe I get an error message which says Javac.exe has encountered a problem and needs to shutdown. Please contact windows then it says send error report or dont send?! I recently had to reinstall windows XP :( so would this have anything to do with it? Do you have a Pentium 4 (or new Celeron) computer? It could be a problem with symcjit.dll. Some versions do not work in Pentium 4 computers. Upgrade your JDK version, or make it work in interpreted mode (
before calling javac.exe, run the following command in the Command Prompt:
SET JAVA_COMPILER=none
Your compiling will be deadly slow, but it could work.

Apdpproxy.exe error message

Am trying to back up computer content to Norton online storage using backup function of Norton360 (have already purchased sufficient storage volume). Get error message "apdpproxy.exe - Unable to locate component ConnAPI.DLL was not found". Web research informs me this is an error resulting from Adobe Photoshop Elements, installed on my computer. How do I fix so I can backup my stuff online? Running Windows XP service pack 3.

APSDaemon.exe Error Message

What does the error message APSDaemon.exe missing from computer mean? I can no longer access itunes from my Windows computer.How do I fix this error? It seemed to happened after I tried to download the lastest update from iTunes.

Same problem today. Took five times to reinstall without any error messages. Apple has posted a way to fix and you should follow their's first. I finally got to upldate correctly by doing their fix but with one difference. I did the following:
1) Went to the C:\program files (x86)\iTunes and C:\program files\iTunes folders and moved every file ending in .dll to the desktop (even if two files in same location had the same name, just replace)
2) Restarted computer and still got error message
3) Uninstalled all apple programs possible in the following order......itunes, apples software update, apple mobile device support, bonjour, and apple application support.....all performed using the microsoft control panel
4) put all the .dll files on the desktop in the trash and emptied (this is a step apple support did not specifically put in their fix but for a final try I wanted to delete everything apple).
5) Restarted computer.
6) Re-installed itunes from apple website
No error messages during re-install and was able to open shortcut in one try. Even updated my ipad to make sure everything was working.

OutlookSyncClient.exe error message and iTunes 7.3.2

I have Windows XP and MS Outlook 2003. My MS Outlook 2003 calendar has never sync to the iPhone or ITunes. I was able to synch form my iPod. Does anyone have some helpful hints? I was able to sync my contacts from Yahoo.
I tried almost all of the items in the Apple KB article 305845.

I was able to sync successfully with 7.3.2, and then I started getting the OutlookSyncClient error message. Here's how I worked around it:
I went to Edit->Preferences->iPhone and clicked Reset Sync History. Then I want to the Info tab of the iphone in iTunes and I scrolled to the bottom and checked "Calendar" and "Contacts" under the Replace information on this iPhone section. Then I did a sync. It worked fine, and everything syncs now.
Some people have reported that 7.3.2 is corrupting their Outlook data. As a precatuion I disconnected my network cable -- all of my data is stored on a server and I can just blow away my OST file should iTunes destroy it. If you're using PST files so all your data is local, you'd be wise to back it up first. I didn't have a problem, but a helping of paranoia here is probably a good thing.
