Dear Experts,
I installed SAP SCM 7.0 IDES server and after that created one program Z_APOCF001_TYPEDIF.
While am changed that program it will ask Developer key for IDES system
How can i get acces key please Let me know.

Hi,
Developer's key is used to register the user with SAP, so that he can do the changes in the system .
Developer key is what you need to create objects in the system. Your OSS admin should be able to get you one from service.sap.com
You can generate it
Go to the: https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/support -> Keys & Requests - > SSCR Keys - > Register developer
As you said you are using IDES.
May be this key will work. Try it.

when I go to se19,
Under "Create Implementation", choose "Classic BAdI"... give FI_ITEMS_CH_DATA or FDM_AR_ITEM_ATTR_GET
and then press button 'create impl.'
then it says "Badi definition FI_ITEMS_CH_DATA does not exist."
I struck up at 3rd part of the note (BADI creation/implementation part of the note.).
Please suggest me how to apply this Badi part of the note ?

Are you sure this note is for your system. I am also working in ECC6. I checked but I couldn't find the defibition too. Make sure note is for your component version and if it is report this problem to OSS.

Creating BADI for Virtual Key fig: Error: RSR_OLAP_BADI does not exist

I am following some instructions to test the implementation of virtual key figure and came to the point to create the BADI.

At this point I get an error that RSR_OLAP_BADI does not exist.
I then chose at random APB_LAUNCHPAD but this works in the sense that it took me to the next screen
1. What does it mean by RSR_OLAP_BADI not existing?
2. I know the instructions points to choose RSR_OLAP_BADI, but why that particular program and how does one gets to know that it is the one to use for virtual key figure/char implementation?
3. When I tested with APB_LAUNCHPAD, I did not get the same screen on page 5 of the link, is it different for BI 7? Or, am I missing a point?

Badi name is RSR_OLAP_BADI
i want to know while creating classic Badi with Implementation Name do developer need access key or thr any othr way to develop Badi for Virtual Key Figure.
Tell me for creating virtual key figure in biw we use Badi and for dat we have to create the Badi in BIW Dev. or in R/3 Dev.

You you need to be registered as developer (you have to have dev.key) to do the coding.

Type conflict with ASSIGN in BADI for Virtual Key Figures

We get the below error dump in ST22 when executing BEx queries that contain virtual key figures.
error message - 'Type conflict with ASSIGN in
program "ZCL_IM_THR_RSR_OLAP_BADI======CP".'
We have a BADI implementation that calculates few virtual key figures included in some infocubes & multiproviders. The error would arise if we execute two queries (containing common Virtual Key figures) one after the other without closing the first query.
We found a note "Note 1237689 - Virtual chars. and key figures in input-ready querys" that could be relevant to our issue and wanted to apply this note but unfortunately the note is only applicable to SAPKW70016 to SAPKW70018 and we are support pack 15.
Can you please advise what the problem could be/suggest corrections for the same.

Migrated BADI Implementation not triggering in ECC 6.0

Hi Experts,
Need your urgent assistance how to deal with migrated BADI implementation which is not triggering in ECC 6.0. This is for PO (ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST). In the original version (4.6) it was working fine. But when this is migrated to ECC 6.0, it's not firing. Please help to trigger this one in ECC 6.0.

Can you just paste the code in the BADI.(The method in which code is there)
Is this BADI implemented and in the Active status.
Check in SE19 if the implementation exist or not?
There may be chances that some condition is not met which can trigger this BADI. Have you read the documentation of the BADI?

BAdI implementation FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE inactive in source system DEV

Hi all.
I'm trying to execute an infopackage to get 0ASSET (texts delta initialization). But it shows me the next error message: "BAdI implementation FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE inactive in source system DEV".
But when I look at this BADI implementation in the source system (Transaction code se19) there are no errors on it.
"BAdI implementation FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE does not contain any errors".
Do somebody knows what's happenning?

"Specify filter names" error in BADI Implementation

Hi everyody,
I am trying to create a BADI Implementation for the standard badi BADI_LAYER in SE19. When I try to save this, it gives an error saying "Specify filter names".
Can somebody kindly tell me what this problem is and how I can fix it?

About the use of the developer key

I am a newbie to Flash :[
I am trying to create a multi-player game and I found a VideoPhone sample that each client must have a key.
But in this forum, I found a MMORPG that do not need any key for login.
How can I do to implement this?

The video phone example in the Adobe lab ask us to enter the developer key to start the connection and to call others.
But I want to make a game which doesn't need the users to have a developer key. The users can simply type a name and then the game will start the connection automatically. How can I implement this?
Do I need to get a number of developer keys for distributing to the users when the users login?
Or, only one developer key is okay to implement it?

Developer Key Authentication

The develoepr key for a developer is cretaed in the Service Market Place.Once the key is given for creation/change of a program, the developer key entry is updated in the DEVACCESS table of the corresponding development environment.
But how the key created at the market place is authenticated in the Development environement.
Is there any communication between the Market Place and the SAP Development environment after the developer key is created?

I am not sure whether it realy is implemented as a one way hash function like the password hashes are.
The kernel function imports only the key and sets sy-subrc. Whether it uses the hash to verify the user and correct licensing data, or whether it computes the expected hash and compares them is debatable.
As there are different types of developer licenses, and this is attached to the key AFAIK, I suspect that it is not a one way hash. A one way hash could also call the kernel function with user name as import parameter or no impprt parameters at all to verify what is in DEVACCESS.
Anyway, IMO the key mechanism is an organizational and licensing issue based on a certain degree of trust in the customer implementation and not really a security mechanism to rely on. Enough S_DEVELOP (or z-programs, or program errors) is sufficient to create your own program (you can create your own SE38 in the debugger in about 2 lines of changed variables).
Using the application authorizations to determine access is a safer bet in this case.

The use of object orientated code within SAP has lead to new method of enhancing standard SAP code called
Business Add-Ins or BADI's for short. Although the implementation concept is based on classes, methods and
inheritance you do not really have to understand this fully to implement a BADI. Simply think of methods
as a function module with the same import and export parameters and follow the simple instructions below.
Steps:
1.     Execute Business Add-In(BADI) transaction SE18
2.     Enter BADI name i.e. HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR and press the display
        button
3.     Select menu option Implementation->Create
4.     Give implementation a name such as Z_HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR
5.      You can now make any changes you require to the BADI within this
        implementation, for example choose the Interface tab
6.     Double click on the method you want to change, you can now enter
        any code you require.
7.      Please note to find out what import and export parameters a
        method has got return the original BADI definition
        (i.e. HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR) and double click on the method name
        for example within HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR contract is a method
8.      When changes have been made activate the implementation

7) Dbl clk on interface name to start class builder . specify a method name (name,
level, desc).

BADI Implementation Problem in QA01

Hi All,
i have to add some custome fields in QA01/QA02/QA03 so i am using BADI Definition QPL1_SUBSCREEN_ADDON and created its implementation also but problem is that now i want to add custom fields appended in CI_QALS in screen number 212 but it is coming in only display mode and it is asking for access key. can anyone please tell me that how can i add those custom fields in that screen?

You have to maintain a customer program and subscreen in the BADI implementation in the Subscreens tab. The custom subscreen will then be called by screen 212.

Error saving a BADI Implementation

I am creating a BADI Implementation using SE19. I select Classic BADI, Enter Name RSR_OLAP_BADI and supply required information. When I save, it asks me for a package name. If I use $TMP, I get error
u201CTest Objects Cannot be created in Foreign Namespaceu201D. If I specify some other package name, I get error package does not exist. How can I create a Package and what should be its name.

Hi,
Two things here -
1. Have you given the implementation name for your BADI? This should be something starting with Z. Follow the below steps -
TCode SE19:
Create Implementation - Select Classic BAdi and give BAdi name as RSR_OLAP_BADI.
Then click on Create Implementation.
Then In the Pop Up give the Implementation Name as Z* (starting with Z) and click on Continue.
2. You can create a package using transaction SE80. Give the package name starting with Z.
