SE51 Screen Painter - can't not start graphical painter

when we try to use SE51 - screen painter through a connection via saprouter the followin message appear:
Password in router string. Cannot start graphical screen painter
we have installed SAP GUI 7.10 patch 02

Hi,
This error is described in SAP Note 898102. the issue is resolved as of SAPGUI Release 710: Import GUI patch 03.
Apply the latest GUI patch. you can find the latest patch in service marketplace.

BLACK SCREEN stating "windows could not start because the following is miss

I installed Bootcamp update 2.1 and then XP SP3.
Now when I start up my Mac I am getting a BLACK SCREEN stating "windows could not start because the following is missing or corrupt: <windows root>\system 32-hal.dll Please re-installl a copy of hte above file"
I tried to use the option key and insert the Windows CD but it won't start up.
Also, when I start up I must use the option key and select the Mac OS and it will start up and everything is fine there. Advice appreciated.

Did you ever solve this? I had updated to BC 2.1 (After updating Apple Software Update al on the Windows side) I waited & just tonight tried to install SP-3. It appeared to install & When I was prompted to restart--I also got the black screen. Mine said:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:\Windows\inf\biosinfo.inf
You can attempt to repair the file by starting Windows setup using the original setup CD-ROM. Select ‘r’ at the 1st screen to repair.
I just force powered off & booted into Mac.
I think I need to restart my Mac into Windows (using the Option key ) WHILE THE WINDOWS XP CD is in the optical Drive. Then maybe I’ll get a choice to select ‘r’ to repair at the 1st screen?
You may need to do essentially the same thing. I do not know if this problem is a boot camp problem of just a Windows problem.

Hi Sachin,
I guess you mean SE51 opens the Classic text view instead of the Graphical layout editor?
In SE51 check Utilities->Settings->Screen Painter
The checkbox in front of 'Graphical layout editor' should be checked.
If it is already checked: try Rich Heilman's post: The Graphical layout editor might be missing

Why is my computer screen is gray its not starting up help

I need help restarting my MAC PRO I turned it on and the screen is grayish try to start and wont start please HELP!!!!!!

Screen pixilating and will not start up on macbook pro.

I have a Macbook pro approx 6/7yrs old. (running on 10.4.?) When I turn it on the screen pixilates and breaks down and does not fully start up. Can see apple logo in centre of screen in the background. Anyone have any experience of this, or know what the problem may be? Urgently need for work! Thanks!

If not what model/made optical drive?
Does the optical drive work when connect to other computers?
What model MacBook? The Apple USB superdrive does not work wither early Macs. See:

Can screensaver not start when front row is active?

I would like to know if there is a way to set the screensaver not to start, but only when Front Row is active. I want it to start all the other times.

there is an option in front row settings to deactivate screensaver when FR is on.

TS1717 Why can I not start Itunes? I keep getting a message that it stopped working/was stopped because of DEP, and I can't get DEP off to launch itunes.

I have Itunes installed on my PC, but now I can no longer open it. If I open it, I get the same message each time: Itunes has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. As soon as I close that message by clicking on "Close Program" which is my only option, I get a second message stating that to help protect my computer, Data Execution Prevention has closed Itunes. So I read up on help section and attempted to turn off DEP for Itunes, but I get the message that I cannot turn it off for this program. I attempted to repair, uninstall, reinstall Itunes and I keep getting the same message. I also logged in as a guest on my computer as a site suggested and see if the problem exists there as well, it does, it gives me the same message. Please help!

PDF looks fine on screen but text does not print

PDF created from Word looks fine on screen but text does not print (graphics do). Alos loses text on FTP or Email. Windows 8.1 64bit. Acrobat XI Std. Word2013. Print to PDF from Word 600dpi, use doc fonts, download as softfont. Arial, calibrai - all fonts lost. Same issue as Phillipio61 and alacker2?.

Problem not with all fonts. Problem with arial and calibri fonts - maybe others. Times New Roman, gil sans, viner are OK for example.

Screen Painter - Layout

Dear Friends,
When I go the layout editor in SE51 Screen Painter, I am getting the following error.
"Internal error with SAPGUI (Unable to find C:\Program Files\SAP FrontEnd\sapgui\gneux.exe)".
Kindly let me know the reason and the solution for this error.

I have a 2013 Dodge with a RHR radio system. I have paired my daughter's iPod to the system. However, when she wants to listen to it in the backseat via the VES it says that no device is available. Can you not listen to a paired device from the rear VES?

I remotely Login SAP at home and I want to edit the screen by screen painter. But the system pop-up a message : password is router string,cannot start graphical screen painter. But at office I can start the screen painter and edit the screen.

Check the RFC - EU_SCRP_WN32 destination in SM59.
Perform a "Test Connection": if the connection doesn't work maybe there is an issue in the connection between the presentation server and the application server.
Check if there is a firewall that blocks the port used by the RFC.
I have the same problem if I use a VPN connection to logon. The graphical screen-painter does not work...

PS: check out if in <sapgui_directory>\FrontEnd\SapGui there are these executables:
gnetx.exe and gneux.exe
These are the necessary files to start the Screen-Painter.

Graphical screen painter Not working

When I am trying to access Graphical screen Painter in the transaction SE51,an error message is getting displayed with text "No response from graphical screen painter-exiting".
And Alpha numeric editor is getting opened instead of GUI Editor.
Can any One help me out with a solution.

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?
