SE80 Problem to see object list

Hello Guys.
I'm accessing a new SAP enviroment. However I have a problem with SE80.
please take a look here.

So I can not create object by SE80.
SAP version is 4.7.

hi,
you are correct in some servers, your situation exists.if you search all the options u would have found solution by yourself.
anyway try this,
click on WORKBENCH menu,edit object item or directly you will have EDIT object button,
then you will have a popup tabstip with many object types ,
as per your requirement click on the reqd. tab, select that radio buttion,give the name of ur app. and click on create button beliow.

If you are still experiencing problems after checking your settings, you may need to update your SAP GUI patch. This solved my problem when I couldn't see the object list selector.

Could not see object list selection in SE80

'Hi,
I have IDES connection through my company VPN.I could not see object list selection in se80 ,instead I see blank white box in that place.I could not even see F1 help,all I see is blank page.Could any of you help me to sort out this problem.This is system specific as other computers do not have this problem.

You have to install the Latest SAP GUI patch in your deskstop/system. Then it will be displayed.

Rebuild Object list+SE80

Hi,
I have a program where there are 5 INCLUDES (have subourtines) which I had commented now and replaced them with one NEW INCLUDE (have subroutines.Some of the subroutines are same in both the INCLUDES).In DEV I had REBUILD the OBJECT LIST using SE80 and transported the changes to QA server.
In the QA server the process flow is taking me to the new INCLUDE but when I double click the subroutines in the program it is navigating me to the OLD INCLUDE instead of the NEW INCLUDE.
1Won't REUBUILD OBJECT LIST changes get saved within a TR ?
2.Do we have to do this independently in the target client ?

I think REBUILD OBJECT LIST will suffice.
I don have any problem with the program.Only when I see the program in QA server and double click on the PERFORM....it is navigating me to OLD INCLUDE instead of NEW INCLUDE.I did REBUILD OBJECT LIST again in QA server and now it is fine.
My question is won't the same get saved in the TR.Do we have to do this activity in the target client.

Object List Selector is not displaying in Transaction SE80.

Hello Experts,
I have one problem in the transaction in SE80 that the Object List Selector (where we select the options for various application eg. BSP Application, Program, Class Builder, Function Builder etc) is not displaying.

Not able to see the objects in DSO Display but available in object list

Hi All,
I am facing a weird issue in DSO.
When I am right clicking DSO and selecting the Object list I am able to see all the (30) objects,
But when I am right clicking the same DSO and selecting Display I am able to see only some objects (20) objects.
DSO is in Active and execute version only.
Can any one tell me what may be reason for that. Because whenever I am trying to transport I am getting the error.

U get error when u activate the so in original system or only while u try to transport it?
what does th error message say ...are those info objects u are trying to add in active state?... If u are deleting any info object from the dso make sre u have deleted the data from that dso in the terget system before the transport

In my Itunes account, I can not see my list of songs in my files, nor can I look for individual songs in the Itunes store. Basically, anywhere there are list, I can not see them. What can I do to fix this problem?

I am having trouble with my Itunes account on Windows XP . I can not see any list in my music files. The songs are there but I have to click on each song to see what it is. Also, in the itunes store, I can not see any pull down list or use my search bar. This happened when Itunes updated it's look. I can pull it up on my phone and see all of my purchased music. I would really appreciate knowing how to fix this problem. Thank you.

Nevermind - I answered my own question, which is I CAN"T READ ANY BOOKS I purchased in iBooks on my MacBook Pro. If I want to read on my mac I have to use Kindle or Nook. Which means any book I've already purchased through iBooks has to be read on my iPad. Kind of a drag because there are times when it's more convenient for me to read while I'm sitting with my Mac.

I have been told you can get these as free downloads - if not can anyone help me or point me in the right direction as to how I create my own?

Unable to view object list in SE80 in MiniSap 4.6D

I have installed MiniSap 4.6D which came along the book ABAP Objects written by Horst keller. When the Object Navigator is displayed I am not able to see the object list. It is shows page cannot be displayed, as it is trying to connect to internet. I think internet is not required to access object list and even if the internet connection is on it shows the same message. I am using WinXP SP2 operating system.
Please help.

Patch the 4.6D GUI to a current patch. SAPsuperUsers dot com (Forums->Downloads->Software->SAPgui patches) have a patch that will fix this.
You could download the 6.40 GUI (availabe here (at SDN) under downloads, but is 500MB!).
On the Kernal disc there is the html file mini.htm at the bottom of this is it tells you how to set up the help files.

SE80 problem in ECC with custom function groups

We are in the process of upgrading from 4.64 to ECC 6 and have encountered an unusual situation.
When we bring up a custom function group in SE80, we can no longer see the custom includes in the include section. We can see all other sections. We can still use SE38 to look at an include. The automatically-generated includes are there, such as the TOP, F01 and UXX, but see none of the ones that go with the function modules we've created. When we look at the UXX include, we can see each of the function modules with the include it belongs to. These are function groups that existed in the 4.64 system; they are not new to the ECC system.
We've tried rebuilding the object list at the function group and package levels. We receive no errors and the processes work fine.
Maybe there is a setting somewhere that needs to be updated?

We are facing an issue in PI configuration when, we are unable to view business systems in the Integration Builder.
ERROR : Access to object list of type "BusinessSystem" using the InternalEOAService BusinessSystemAccessor failed
Our Landscape is as follows:
PI : Based on NW7.4
Connected to Central SLD on Solman 7.1
OS : Windows 2008
DB : MSSQL 2008
We checked OSS note 1117249 - Incomplete Registration of PI components in SLD
The problem seems to be with incomplete registration of PI components on the central SLD.
In the Central SLD which we have configured, under the Process Integration tab we are unable to see entries for Integration Server, Adapter Engine, Directory, Repository and Runtime Workbench (RWB).
Can you please help me with registering these components on the Central SLD so that these are visible during the PI configuration.
Also, any idea if this issue is related to the different versions of PI and Central SLD system.

SE80 problems

Hello all,
Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I figured it's the most likelt place to find someone who's experienced the same problem.
When I run transaction SE80 (ABAP development workbench), within the "Repository browser" there should be a text box to enter the name of the program, class, function etc that I want to view/modify. There should also be 2 buttons, one with a downward pointing arrow and the other a pair of glasses.
Unfortunately, all I get now is an inactive textarea -type box.
It appears like that only for me (although I'm not sure if it's because it's my username or my machine).
Can anyone shed any light?

I have just run across the same problem with IE 7 and verified that it works correctly in IE 6.
Here is a variant on this. We are operating a heterogeneous R/3 Installation.
The SE80 object list in the Select Box performs normally when viewed on a Unix Host, yet displays the message, 'This program cannot display the webpage' when viewed on a Windows 2000 server host.
I have verified that the kernel patch levels are identical in each environment.

There may arise some smaller corruption states that may be cured by what you did, as you can see in the list. Sometimes, restarting thrice is needed.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.
