SE80 Repository Browser - consolidates work into 1 change request??

Hi all,
Heres my problem:
I am in SE80 Repository Browser editing a program, call it P1.  On first time saving I get prompted for a change request.  Still in SE80 I now switch to another program, call it P2.  I make changes to P2 for the first time and save.  I am not prompted for a change request.  The object P2 is placed in the first change request with P1.  I wanted P1 and P2 to be in different requests.
This never happened before in 46C.  I used to always get prompted for a change request.  We are now using ECC 6.0 so I am wondering, is this something new?  I looked in settings to see if there was an option for this but I didn't find anything.  I know SPAU can work this way but it has an option to turn it off.
Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks

Mark,
Using SE09/SE10 you can move your objects to different change requests.
this will solve your temporary problem.
Regards,
Amey

  • How big effort it is to setup Change Request Management?

We are interested in implementing Change Request Management into our Solution manager 7.0.
What size of an effort in mandays it actually is and what kind of professional roles are required to set it up? Some background information for your responses:
implementation project is already there in Solman (SOLAR01/02) and is already live
satellite system connections within SMSY are already active
no central CTS/CTS+ is currently in use
when having CHARM it is assumed that also CTS+ should be used
So, I guess we are in a typical situation where implementation project has ended and live and support organisation and tools are being setup. There we need CHARM and CTS+.
I have read lots of SDN threads and blogs, but did not get a clear picture how big effort setting up CHARM is. Please note, I not looking for config guides now, just your experiences. Even if am not interested in config guides, could you at least describe the main steps that are necessary in setting up CHARM?

  • OWB 10.2.0.1.31: Not be able to view reports on Repository Browser

    Hello,
I not be able to show the list of execution mappings into owb repository browser. I get access to login page and i get access with runtime repository owner user, but repository browser don´t show the mapping execution list into execution report page.
In other installation od OWB the execution mapping's report showed correctly. I try to install into clean computer and not be able to get the result of execution mapping.
    Any idea??
    Jaaquin

I have exactly the same problem. Repository browser is working, I can see deployment reports. The execution reports are working but emtpy. Although the control center manager shows execution logs.
The problem appeared after I installed the last patch Warehouse Builder 10.2.0.4 Patch. Everything else seems to work normally.
    The client version is 10.2.0.4.36
    The repository version is 10.2.0.4.0
Can it be the difference between the repository and OWB browser versions?
    Thanks,

  • Change Request Management  "There is no task list for this project"

    Hello!
I would like to use the functionality of CharM in SOLMAN 4.0.
When I enter the Tcode /n/tmwflow/proj I receive the waring/error "There is no task list for this project" (/TMWFLOW/TRACK_N114)
If I create my own task list via Task list --> create
I get the warning "You cannot change task lists in the SAP namespace"
What are the steps to define task list for my project?
Do I need to configure SPRO ... --> Extended Configuration --> Schedule Manager?
The second warning I get: "NO CTS projects created yet" or
"The Solution Manager project does not have an active CTS project yet".
How can these warnings/errors be corrected?

Version is SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0, and St component is

Also all users by default has SU53 access, no missing access can be seen. Provided sap_all as well, mentioned in my first post.
    @Jason,
Both the users are executing with default variants. For those it is not working yesterday it is working today. I have no clue on why. At present I am not able to reproduce the issue as well.

  • Change Request Management--Create Transport Request from Service Desk

    Hi Experts,
What are the right steps to create a change request via service desk message and keep following the process until import to PRD.
    Regards.

    Hello Jorge,
You can create Change Request using two ways.
You can create a Change Request from a Service Desk Message using the action "Create Change Request" or you can create a Change Request directly in transaction CRMD_ORDER.
Please, check the links below where you can find more information about Charm.

  • Work flow for Change Request not reliably sending emails.

I created a work flow that sends an email to a changers Manager whenever a routine Change Request is created. Sometimes the email does not go and I narrowed it down to a possible race condition between the workflow running and Service Manager adding the
Manager in as a Reviewer on the Review Activity.
When I hard code a recipient into the Reviewer list, the email works every time. When I leave the Reviewers list blank and check the box "Line Manager should review", Service Manager properly adds the changers Manager in as a Reviewer but the email
    sometimes does not work.
What I am thinking is the workflow is running before Service Manager can add the Manager in as a Reviewer and therefore no email. If this is the case, is this a possible bug or how do I delay the workflow and give Service Manager enough time to populate
the Reviewer list on the Review Activity.

"Updated" is not going to work. Now the Manager gets two emails identical to each other and when the Approve the RA, they get a third. Basically every time the RA is touched, it fires an email. Can't have this.
So, back to "Created". It is still unreliable. I did not think getting an email sent would be this much trouble.  Basically all I am trying to do is when a user creates a Change Request, their Manager gets an email notifying them that a Review
    Activity needs attention.
If anyone has any idea on how to do this, let me know. Is there any way I can do this with a notification subscription instead of a workflow? I tried to use a subscription but I could not figure out what criteria to use to send an email to the changers Manager.
