  • While creating pdf from html, the alignment is not proper

    Hi,
    In my application, I am creating a pdf report from html using (using Generate pdf 1.1 - HTML URL To PDF activity) which contains certain images and descriptions.
    But, while generating pdf the alignment is not proper. In the HTML there is no paging, but in the output pdf the image div is getting broken when new pages are generated.
    Some blank areas are coming the report.
    Actually I need an exact replica of the HTML as a pdf, with paging.
    Thank you in advance.

    What is the LiveCycle version?
    Is it possible for you to share an example(somewhere on public file sharing sites)?

  • Date Picker Alingment is not proper when we open Date in new Tab

    We are facing Date Picker Alignment issue with Safari 5 browser on MAC 10.7.3. Our application is developed in Seam framwork ( which includs JSF and EJB). The issue which we are observing as follows-
    There are some links on our application JSF page which opens Date in new window. But when we enable option for opening in tab always and click on Date link, Alingment of new tab opened is not proper.
    Please suggest the possible action or pointers to work on this issue.

    Thanks in advance

    Here is more info to describe the issue.
    These are the movies sent to the Apple Engineers to show how our
    workflow has worked for 7 years until Safari 4 came out.
    Again this has caused us to go back to 10.5.8 though we enjoyed some of Snow Leopards improvements.
    Have your sound on when listening to safari4 so you can hear the overlaps.

    Would really like this fixed.

    Please note i m using multiple charts in View Selector and user can select any chart of his choice and also re-arraging the graph option and report in compound layout.

    Regards,

    Hi
    Use the concept of text module, and assign text module to text fields. and give the condition that if language is arabic than text module will be executed.
    i  did in adobe forms , you can find that one in **************** , click on tutorials , click on adobe forms and select with use of text modules.

    Hi ,
    probably in the File structure , u might have selected the checkbox , filed names at the beginning of the file.
    But , in ur flat file , may be there is no field names in the first record.
    uncheck the checkbox . & upload.

  • Entry date not proper in adhoc query

    Hi,
    Entry date field in action infotype ( in the adhoc query) always returns 00.00.0000. Whereas the standard reports brings the entry date properly (This is from prelq.hiredate). How we can bring the values into this particular field.The feature 'ENTRY' returns DATYP but data is not maintained in IT41. System should bring the hiring action date (0000 start date) as the entry date. We want to use this entry date field in the adhoc query.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sreeja

    Hi Sreeja
    Please  read the following paragraph of the consulting note 508026 :
    "Exception:
    If the query is started with a key date selection, the query calls
    function module HR_LEAVING_DATE with the key date and not with the start
    and end date of the personnel action in which the key date exists. You
    can use modification note 562031 to change this system response."
    Please also make sure, that the corrections of note 561514 are contained in your system.
    I hope that this information be useful for you.

  • Excel export of crosstab report in Discoverer desktop 9i not proper

    Dear All,
    I have made a crosstab report where I am taking the totals of the fig at all the datapoints. For this total, I have put the "Label" as &Value. When I run the report, it shows the correct output and correct values for the label field. But when I am exporting the report in excel, the label does not refresh for all the items properly. Instead it shows the Label for the very first set of data across all the itesm.
    Can somebody pls tell me the reason behind this?

  • ABAP Query Layout not proper

    Hi experts,
    I am facing a problem regarding the output display of ABAP Query that I have created using SAP List Viewer.
    I have used logical database VFV in the query and some selection fields and some additional fields also.
    The output is shown to me as a list output rather than an ALV output.
    Please suggest a solution so that I can display the output in ALV format and not List format.
    Regards,
    Garima.

    Hi,
    I have got the error removed by ensuring that fields from one table are a part of one line ( taking help of ruler) only. But the underlying problem remains, the output is not ALV but List output.
    I do not think having additional fields in the query is reason for this.
    Is it bcoz iI am adjusting the output length of columns to ensure no hierarchical error ?
    Can we not have a query using LDB which is shown as SAP List?
    Regards,
    Garima.

  • R/3 Spool printing  from portal, page breakup is not proper

    Hai All,
    We use Enterprise portal to access SAP R/3 4.6C server. From portal when a program is submitted in background by giving a receipent name. The spool content are sent to the person SAP inbox.
    In portal we have created SAP inbox as a iview and using that i can view the spool content. The problem is when i try to print the spool from portal the page breaks are not properly coming. Whereas when i print the same spool from  SAP gui the page breaks are properly coming.
    Please let me know how to resolve this problem and let me know why this problem is occuring only in portal.
    Thank & Regards,
    Basha.

    What exact EP version are you using?
    In addtion, please have a look at transaction SM04 in the R/3 system where you can monitor all connection to the system. verify that connection are closed\re-used as required.

  • Report alignment and header not proper while modifying using MS Office 2007

    We have an RTF template designed using old MS Office version (1997 - 2003).
    Wehn we save the document after making any change using MS Office 2007, the alignment is changed in the merged PDF output (esp. table cell border hiding / displaying).
    Moreover, the data in page header (data from XML) is not appearing.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Kumar
    If I understand you correctly, I think the the following should work:
    I Assume text-006 = 'fiscal year :'
    CONCATENATE text-006 p_gjahr INTO ls_line-info SEPARATED BY space.
    APPEND ls_line-info TO lt_top_of_page.
    NB space will put a space between the variables being concatenated but you can use any variable in there eg for a comma separated list etc.
    Hope that helps.
    Andy
    Message was edited by: Andrew Wright
    In addition to this rather than trying to use offsets to position the text within the variable, you could use the SHIFT command as follows:
    SHIFT ls_line-info RIGHT DELETING TRAILING space.
    If you insert this between the CONCATENATE and APPEND statements above it should right-justify the text within the ls_line variable.
    Kind regards
    Andy

  • DAC tasks are not running in Sync.Parent - Child ROW_WID  not proper.

    After the completion of DAC, When I tested the reports, one of the report is not populated. The root cause which I analyzed is the child table W_product_DX is not having same ROW_WID ids as parent W_Product_D and hence the join fails to pull the child records.
    When I see the log file , the custom task that populated the child table has run ahead of the parent dimension table therefore the child has not populated with new/updated roe_wid values.
    Do we have do some setting in each task so that it runs in a particular order of execution....
    Any ideas how to resolve this problem. Help appreciated. __.____

    Did you create an entirely new custom task or modify an existing one?
    If you did one from scratch you wil need to analyze the location of the other tasks and modify the order in your execution plan.
    This section of the documentation covers execution order:

  • PDF attachment not proper in Mail

    Hi All,
    We are facing a problem with PDF attachment through workflows.
    We are using CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF to convert SPOOL to PDF and are getting binary file into it_xstring, pdf file into it_pdf. Now we are sending it_xstring to SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD for mail attachment. We are getting the PDF attachment, but the data is not fitting exactly onto the page. In other words, the entire data is being shown only in half of the page which in turn made the font size very small. But when we tried saving the PDF file it_pdf onto a local file through GUI_DOWNLOAD, it's giving the data correctly, as in, the output is being exactly fit into the page.
    Can we stretch the output in XSTIRNG (binaryfile)? Is there any way to show the output data properly in PDF attachment?
    Thanks a lot!!

    Does the FM "CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF" return string ?
    The data that the FM returns if of the type "TLINE".
    Convert the it_pdf using the below:
    CALL FUNCTION 'SX_TABLE_LINE_WIDTH_CHANGE'
        EXPORTING
             LINE_WIDTH_SRC              = 134
             LINE_WIDTH_DST              = 255
         TABLES
              CONTENT_IN                  = PDF_FILE
              CONTENT_OUT                 = PDF_FILE_OUT
         EXCEPTIONS
              ERR_LINE_WIDTH_SRC_TOO_LONG = 1
              ERR_LINE_WIDTH_DST_TOO_LONG = 2
              ERR_CONV_FAILED             = 3
              OTHERS                      = 4.
    Use the method which suits you in the class "CL_BCS_CONVERT" and convert into XSTRING and pass it to the FM "SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD".
