Search Criteria - job search for candidate - TREX

I need to add branches field to selection criteria for job search function( candidate pages). in standard we have
functional area,hirarchy level,country,Work contract type,Education level.
i was able to add branches successful , but when i search which branches no results .
what i have to configure to get the excepted results.

When add new elements to a search mask, via customizing, you need to add that specific field also to the search profile.
In a search mask, you have the infocategory and field stored. Assign those to the search profile you want to enhance. In case of a requisition it is ERC_REQ. In case of postings INT_POER and EXT_CAND.
After doing this, you need to recreate search profiles. After indexing you will find it.

I am trying to add a field or change Selection Parameters in Search criteria POWL for Invoice. But for SC, PO and Confirmation I can do it from DB Criteria. But for Invoice I implemented these BADI's and its not triggering.

goto tcode sm30 /SAPSRM/V_SRC_CR enter the filed for BO/ BUS2121(select the business object based on the requirement)
the creation type must be suitable for the type
criterion name : zzfield
criterion name : parameter
structure : /SAPSRM/S_SEARCH_RESULT_INV
field name : zzfield
this are the feeder class for invoice .
/SAPSRM/CL_CLL_POWLT_INV_PROF
/SAPSRM/CL_CLL_POWLT_INV

based on the powl query you need to do the enhancement in the feeder class .

Search criteria in iweb for podast to be found when searchin for podcast

hello, i have created a video podcast titled mbj's music videos podcast..
im i search podcast in itunes using "music videos" the podcast does not appear? if i search mbj it does appear...but the web address when you go to visit website has a real strange address...any comments?

Short of changing the series title of your Podcast to different keywords, I don't think there is anything you can do in iWeb to control this in iTunes.

How to restrict the Search Criteria in Search Screen

Hi Frds,
I need to restrict the user to search with the set of value for a particular group.
Example: group G1 link to 5 users which will be '10' '30' '60' '80' '110'.
I am able to detect the G1 group at run time and also get all users link into it. but i dont know how can i make a setup so that resultant show only those order created by these user only.

Search criteria for insert/update bdoc

Hi All,
In our set up we have ecc to crm replication of BP. If one goes and checks the extension data of a stuck bdoc it has an Object Task- Insert or Update.
Can someone help me with search criteria so that i can pull out bdocs which have an Insert as the Object task ??
We have search criteria for errored/intermediate state bdocs; for inbound vs outbound; bdoc type etc etc..
Need one based on Insert/Update Task so that any new data replication if stuck with its very first bdoc( Insert type) can be immediately queried.

I do not think that we have such a search criteria to search for BDocs based on the Task Type, which comes under the
data part of the BDoc.
One alternative way is to find out in which table these data gets stored and write a program to fetch the revelent Bdocs.

Adding a Field in search Criteria in Web UI

I am working on SAP CRM 7.0 Webui Marketing module (Business Role : Marketingpro) . Here when I select the "Account&Product" Work Center and go to search Contact . Here we will move to the Search Contact View here we will get a list box where we can select any search criteria to search a Contanct . Here in this List box in need to add a new Field Called "Archiving Flag" . The component of the Search Contact is :: "BP_CONT_SEARCH" And the View is "BP_CONT_SEARCH/Search " Here in the View Structure Tab under Context->Context Node ->Search i just needd to a new Field called "Archiving Flag" in this context node "Search". Can any Tell me the procedure to add a field to the lsit box of Search Criteria.

Hi Vinutha,
U can add fields in the search view using AET in one way.
The other way is identify the component for that search.Press F2 on the web ui screen of ur account search page and see the component name as well the view name for the search fields.
Go to that search view in the component identified.
In case of sales pro role, account search component is BP_CONT_SEARCH ,go to the view search and in that if we go to context node search an attribute named 'telephone' is present already.We can add that to visible fields in configuration tab.
If not found under that context node then right click on context node and create a context node.Before that go to genil_model_browser and observe the relation level in which the field(mobile number) we need to add is present and copy the dependent object name.
For example for phone number the dependent object is BuilAdressPhone. Now pass this value in create context node. Make the adjustments in configuration tab.

As per my understanding, the customer is willing to add more Z fields to the SAP delivered component. If this is correct, then you need to search for a customer include in the attribute structure of the Query or Dynamic Query Object. Then you need to add those Z Fields and make modification in the Genil Layer accordingly. After this modification, you need to modify the UI Component also. You need to add the new search fields, change the labels.
You can also use EEWB to do the modification. There will be multiple threads which have EEWB related information. Search and scan the forum for extensive details.

Exact Search Criteria in OAF

Hi,
I have developed a Custom OA Page with VO having 9 Columns, all 9 columns are in search criteria having LOV for each column. It is oracle R12 environment.
Problem:
When i search for a specific value for column it is returning values in result region starting with that value.
Example: when i search for a value like 1234, it is returning the values starting with 1234. Actually it is taking as 1234%, hence it is returning values like 12341,12342,12343,12344,12345. Is there any property that i need to set to get results for exact values.

I could able to override the executeQuery.
I am facing another issue that is with where clause, please find the below where clause that i have used.
setWhereClause("segment1 = nvl(:1,segment1)");
By using this i can search exact match, but there is another requirement to search like values. I can search for a value '1234', but if i give '1234%' it is not retrieving the details.
In where clause can i use LIKE instead of '=' sign.

How to change Bridge default search criteria

I'd like to change the default search criteria to search only the selected folder, not sub-folders. Essentially, I want to use the default search as a way to filter the files in a folder. Is there any way to do this?
Right now, I use the search box in the upper right-hand corner, enter my search word or phrase, hit enter, it searches this folder and all subfolders, I click the "New Search" button, uncheck the subfolders box, and do the search again. Way too many clicks.

How not to search in the search result reset pagination?

I have a sql query report where I have created a text field where a use can input a search criteria, that is used in the where clause. This works perfect. But when pagination is used and you navigate to the next result set and input a new search criteria the search is only done in the displayed result set not the full data set. As far as I can figure out from other posts in this forum I have to reset the pagination when the search button is pressed. I can no figure out how to do this. People have mentioned using braches or processes or Clear Cache?. Can anybody please guide me in the right direction?

Well if it is setup like mine, there will be a "Branch to Page or URL" branch dependent on the "Go" button being selected.
In this branch, immediately to the right of the "Page" to branch to, set the "reset pagination for this page".

E-Rec - Candidate Location search in the search criteria configuration

Hello experts,
My requirement is to add a search criteria on candidates geographical location in the TRM Search in the recruiter start page.
I have performed the following steps in SPRO but still the location search is not bringing the required output;
1. Defined a search template for candidates location -
{Type - General; Search profile type - INT_CAND} - I have used the standard search profile type INT_CAND
2. Defined a search template element
{Element type - LIBO list Box; Info category - CANDIDATE_ADDRESS_DATA; Field Type - E; Data collection class - CL_HRRCF_T005_COUNTRY}
3. Attached the search template element to the search template
4. Attached the search template in the sequence to the Search template group "Search in Talent warehouse'
Note --> TREX is working fine and iam able to see the job search working fine in the system.
Can some one please provide some inputs on what iam missing.

If you are sure this problem will not occur again in the future, then you can run the standard webdynpro application DELETE_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE in e-Recruiting system to get rid of the duplicate candidates....
This application will delete the candidate completely from the system, including all the CP and BP objects and relations.

Dear All,
I had a requirement to change the format of the form to display the posting. Hence i took the help of the table t77rcf_PRMC_PL , t77rcf_PRM_PL , t77rcf_MDL_PRMC to assign Values to Interface Parameters. Here i user the parameter: FORM_PUBL_EXT_DOVR and parameter value as the new Z form created. The new form was visible in the publication area of the job posting from recruiter portal.
But when i try to view the form by searching the job posting (as a candidate), it is still displayed in the old format. i.e when i try to view the posting using the posting search functionality.
Can anybody please tell me what is the configuration left from my side.

Hi Deepak,
The customizing of V77RCF_MDL_PRMC is wrong.
Value "DISPLAY_PDF" is only allowed with values space or "X".
Furthermore, the correct parameter for the job posting data overviews (publications) is SF_PUBL_EXT and SF_PUBL_INT (see documentation of this IMG step).

Increasing the Number of Candidate Job Search Results in E-Recruiting

Hello,
Would anyone happen to know where to go to increase the number of candidate candidate job search results in E-Recruiting? It's default value is set as only allowing 10 jobs per page. If you want to display more you have to click the down arrow. How would I allow it to show, say 25, or maybe 50 per page?

I tried the following combinations in table T77RCF_UI_PARAM

None of which increased the number of hits that appeared on the page. The value still remained at 10 per page.
It would appear that somewhere in the result_list.bsp view for hrrcf_unrg_srch that this is being set. If I view the methods for class CL_HRRCF_UNRG_SRCH_HL_RESULT_V I find three that would appear to be relivent: PREPARE_HITLIST, GET_HITS_PER_PAGE and SHOW_HITLIST. However, I am having trouble tracking down where the default value of 10 hits per page is being set at.

Job Search issue for inactive employee in E-Recruiting.

Inactive employee is unable to see all job postings in the search result compared to active employee. Please provide any inputs on this, it will be a great help.

inactive employees, indicated in sap e-recruiting by the flag IS_INACTIVE in IT 5102 are in the understanding of sap e-recruiting no longer employees, so they are counted and treated as external and not internal candidates. E.g. if you use a get_candidate method which returns the IS_EMPLOYEE flag this will be false for them.
Some of the job search applications use the same implementation for external and internal candidates. They will determine if the current user is an internal or external and depending on that show internal or external published jobs. So if you call such an application for an inactive employee you will see another result than if calling for an active one - at least if you do not have every single posting publish for internal and external channel.
Of course not every inactive employee is really an external candidate. This is right for employees who quit or were fired but employees on maternity leave, on sabbatical or a company supported education are often set inactie but in a companies understanding still persons which should be allowed to apply on internal postings. This is a usual issue on projects for internal job market. Other way around there are also employee groups like interns which sometimes should not be allowed to apply as the are "no real" employees.
There are posibilities to take influence on the ALE handling / HR-Erec integration to set IS_INACTIVE not purely based on STAT2 of IT 0001 but so far most companies decided to handle this topic off system due to the bad cost / result ratio.

Log in to your account, and move all your files to your home folder. No other users should be able to access them there and they won't show up with a Spotlight search.
Make sure your kids' account(s) do not have admin privileges.
