Search do not work correctly!?

Hi! I I am using Search Criteria to search for data in DB. But Search do not work correctly.
When I search using "Search in all fields:" then I can get needed info. But when I add some attributes and try to search then I get wrong results, see Search form: http://my.jetscreenshot.com/2677/20120820-stms-117kb
I want that, if I add attributes "Type of Genetic Resource" and "Regional Forest District" and enter data, then my search form searches for results that is combinated from these 2 added fields.

In Search Criteria I use Conjunction OR, I I change it to AND then above example works fine when I add 2 fields in advanced search, but then search using "Search in all fields:" DON'T work.
Can anyone say where I am wrong, what I need to add or change in my Search criteria, so that all will work?

Then when I enter data in SearchAllFields it finds nothing...
SearchAllFields means that I search in all attributes for given value and show results.
I found that using Match all or Match Any option works for my previous VC, see: http://my.jetscreenshot.com/2677/20120821-g0nu-63kb
How do You think, this is good solution? And maybe You know how to localize Match all or Match Any option?

Search function not working correctly

I have a problem searching in a specific document. For some reason, the search function only seems to sift through certain fonts, or types of text. The main text is not included in the search, but rather only (for example) the Table of Contents and some "examples" (in a special font) in the text. Everything else is omitted.
When I copy/paste the main text, it's pasted as a strange code in this fashion, despite the fact that it's quite readable in it's original form:
äíÉí=áåíÉ=Ü~ê=Ñí
This is probably the reason why Search can't find terms in the main text, as searchable text looks quite right when copy/pasted. But how can I solve the problem?

Did you check under the file Properties to see if the fonts are embedded? If they are not, you can reembed the fonts if you have Acrobat Pro using the Preflight tools.

Adobe Prelude CC search function not working correctly?

Hey guys,
In need of some help, I am using the "tag" feature in prelude CC, tagging clips with multiple words IE "Day One, Interview, Ben"
When searching the footage the clips can be seen if I type the words "Day One" or "Ben" however if I type them back to back IE: "Day One Ben" Prelude can't find any footage.
I really need to be able to search for multiple tags/comments at once. Have tried this in Premiere CC and it works perfectly just Prelude isn't.
Has anyone else had this problem or can suggest a fix of how to search for multiple tags/comments.

Prelude currently searches for exact string matches - including punctuation.
We are looking into providing a more capable search engine in the future.

File search is not working correctly

here is the problem, I have 8 500gb drives and 6 of them are almost full i am looking for a file that i used last week, I found the file by using search yesterday and both the file and the copy of the file showed up but today they are not showing up when i use search.
I know they have not been delete because I only have read access to the files and i am the only one using them.

Search does not work correctly when including user name field

I'm attempting to search for the word authenticator in my previous posts. I'm typing authenticator in the search box, my user ID (mthompson) in the username field, and selecting the appropriate datd range. There are no results found.
That is wrong. When I click on the 'Your Control Panel' link, I very clearly see my previous posts containing that term.
Why doesn't this work?

The search functionality on these forums doesn't allow for a username to be entered, but it does allow for a User ID. this is the ID associated with your user when you hover over a link to your own user.

TV listing search no longer working correctly

Has anyone else noticed that the TV listing search doesn't work correctly? For example, if I'm looking for a football game with a team I want to watch (e.g. Penn State), no matches come up. The only way to find the game is to look for "College Football" and then read the descriptions for each game.
Very annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I have found the exact issue you have stated regarding the Penn State games. Try searching for Nittany for the search word instead of Penn State - this has worked for me.
I agree there are many weaknesses in the FiOS search algorithm including not listing the HD version during search

C, sorry…I read your posts out of order. I see that you have links to your smart groups after all. My apologies.
It's as you say, the course pages load up, but I don't see anything in the smart groups. Just thinking out loud here…maybe the search criteria don't genuinely match anything on your site? Perhaps there are actual matches, but you've hidden content with a new credential?…I accessed both pages using the "Unauthenticated" and "All" credentials. My last/craziest guess is that it has something to do with localization…français versus anglais?

Title & Menu Buttons not working correctly on remote control/ set top player but work in preview.

Title & Menu Buttons not working correctly on remote control/ set top player but work in encore preview. This only happens for a Blu ray project. When a user presses the menu button it should go to the previous menu they were on but it goes to the main menu. When they press the title button they should go to the main menu but it doesn't do anything. My DVD projects work as expected.I've tried creating a new "test" project with different footage and still get the same undesirable results.
Overrides grayed out and set to "not set" for timelines and menus.Project settings and build are set to blu ray. Also I've noticed when I preview a Bluray project the preview window shows a red colored disc next to the Title button when viewing the timelines and green when playing the menus but not so for a DVD project it displays red if motion menus and or timelines are not rendered/encoded. I'm not using motion menus and all the media is encoded according to the project specs.
I've searched this forum but couldn't find the answer. Any help or redirects to a solution would be appreciated. Working with CS5. Thanks.

I found out on my Samsung Blu ray player the remote has a tools button on it that brings up audio, angle, chapter selection etc.and also title selection which is actually the menus and the timelines unfortunately. It's not as easy or direct as last menu selected but it's a workaround at least. I also plan on using a pop up menu. I'll let you know.

Technical informations:
PC with Windows 7 64-bit, Lightroom 5.7.1 64-bit installed.
What I have done:
I downloaded the newest LR 5.71 and installed it again - mode repair; without success
I checked my PC with Norton 360: full scanning and optimizing registry
I restarted the PC and than I installed the LR 5.7 again - repair
Trouble 1:
Two days ago I could work with my LR 5 and to import pictures from a SD was no problem. Now I can start LR 5 and I can watch/modify pictures, but as soon as I try to import new pictures LR 5 stops and gives the message "your LR 5 64-bit does not work correctly - searching for solution". I have not changed anything in my computer since lasttime LR 5 worked properly, only the registry was optimized by Norton 360.
Trouble 2:
I live in Switzerland and my language ist German. I dit not find a place where I can present my problem in German, e.g. a phone number oder email-address oder german-chat. My English is to week for a discussion for computer problems and do understand it.
Help:
I would very appreciate if anybody can help me, either to trouble 1 or to trouble 2. Thanks.

10.9.2 Mail not working correctly

I'm the only person in the office to upgrade to 10.9.2 (thankfully!). Since then, Mail has not worked correctly. It is an IMAP account.
When I click on an existing message in my inbox, instead of displaying instantly it takes 3-4 seconds. The screen scrolls light grey, dark grey, light grey, dark grey then the message. I can live with this but it's very annoying.
But worse, I now cannot perform any mail searches to refer back to existing messages I have in any of my mailboxes. Search functions 'to, 'from' 'entire message', 'any' do not work. Even if the message or sender is in the inbox, it can’t find it. This is serious as I'm constantly using this function.

My wife is having the exact same problem all of a sudden with gmail on her MacBook Air. Also running 10.9.2. Everything is running perfectly on the iPhone, but on the Mac, no new email is downloading and the inbox is not syncing.

Sleep not working correctly

Since updating my Late 2010 iMac to Moutain Lion the sleep function does not work correctly. They system keep waking up for no reason. The monitor comes comes day or night. I cannot figure out a fix or work around. Any ideas?

Please read this whole message before doing anything. This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it. Step 1 The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up guest users” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.” While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin. Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)? After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it. *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing. Step 2 The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. *Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Filters not working correctly

We have the strange situation, that filters in calendar views are not working correctly (anymore?).
If i set up a filter to search for my name as attendee, teaming still shows all entries instead of only just mine. This behavior applies to customized and standard calendar views.
Filters for (customized) file folders still work as expected.
Any ideas?

"Help" menu in finder is not working correctly

My "Help" menu in the finder menubar is not working correctly. If I type in a query that can't be found, instead of telling that it can't be found, underneath the search field it just displays "Searching..." indefinitely. This is no matter what application I'm in when I access the menu. I have tried the advice in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6389569&#6389569 and that does not work. Using OS 10.5.1

I'd like to add that when I search, it will find menu commands (highlight relevant menu commands) but not return any actual help results. To clarify, this is when searching directly from the "help" menu bar item. Searching from within the help window seems to work fine.

Personalized Simple Search with new messageLovInput - Search does not work

I have currently set an Message LOV Input into a Simple Search Panel for IcxPorRcvSrchPG.
I have got the LOV bringing back the correct values, but when I hit the GO button the Search does not work.
Can someome please help me on how I am able to get the search working in the Simple Search Panel.
Details of VO's are as follows:

When I generate and then view the help, it looks perfect! I changed the name of the project folder since the information is proprietary. I have several pictures including the parent folder and the only 3 folders that are generated. I cannot find the Webhelp output folder. I think this is what you need to see.
